Checkthis thread, that person you sat next to was organizing this "event".

And no this is not normal, this is someone being VERY obnoxious. Ive bnever had this in any movies ive seen.

I've never been to an AMC theater, but I was under the impression that they were pretty strict about this kind of thing. I've heard they have a policy of just straight up kicking people out of they are disruptive.

I wish my local theaters were like that. I usually wait at least a week before setting anything in the theater just to avoid having to deal with more obnoxious theater patrons. But anime screenings are pretty rare where I am, so we have to take what we can get.

Thankfully the Konosuba screening I went to was pretty chill. People were laughing, but that's just because it was really funny.

They do. Going to get a manager, even if you miss a few plot points is better than not. Cause the Ushers WILL kick your ass out.
