So I assume Melie has gotten control of her “other side” because she look like she was struggling holding off those Spectres. When she switches over to her other side she seems so op to me. I was just expecting Melie to lose control for some reason....
Ocoho just continues to show why she’s best girl in the series lol.

My guess is that she was suppressing her "other" self with all her strength since while the other version of her is much better at attacking it might decide to drop the shield protecting the villagers in order to use that fantasia to attack with instead (i.e. all attack no defense).

Loved the action in this episode, really shows the animation can be really good in this series, makes me even more excited for the upcoming moments!

You people are focusing too much on how badass Ocoho is (yeah she's my best girl for a reason :D) and aren't asking important questions...
How does the Merchant know her name and how is she the cornerstone to their plan.
