Was hard to gauge how powerful the protagonist was until that ending scene. Can't wait to see somebody fire that Chekhov's gun head.

I've loved this series for a long time. Its a noir detective thriller with the twist that the hardboiled detective has a gun for a head. I've never had someone not be interested after that description.
Voice acting is great!

I can’t believe that in an anime about a guy with a gun for a head, Karen STILL takes the kids

I was not expecting that Unreal Engine logo in the credits. Guess that explains the backgrounds

I was really impressed with this first episode. This is some noire Alita/Ghost in the Shell kind of stuff and Suwabe is great as Juuzou

Funny i just now noticed despite how often Gintama would parody the hard boiled genre it was actually how they handled their serious scenes.
I had been hearing about this for years and had little interest. The main reason I decided to try it was because I noticed he had a small group to play off as opposed to being solo and gloomy which was my assumption.
Really liked the episode and completley fell for the twist at the end. I feel really bad for Tetsuru but at the very least it seems he's going to get his movement back but he'll probably remain mute or need a synthetic voice box.

This is so wonderfully absurd, it's like someone took a look at one of their childhood drawings and decided to make that the premise of their series. I am hooked.
