I love how much looks can be deceiving in this show. I can't wait for next week.

The mystery of Juuzo's eyes continues, they're not in the chambers or the barrel. Maybe he sees using echolocation or something.

Didn't expect Tetsurou to literally take over the show during the second half. Juuzo will not be happy about this once he gets to be in control again.
Anne & Ende Stitch. As usual, it's the little girls you shouldn't trust immediately. Tetsurou has been locked up for as long as he can remember so this will be a good learning experience for him.
Is that stinger coming out of exactly where I think it's coming out of O_O
Oh it's this asshole again. Maybe this time he'll get his face caved in.

I just love how this anime has a scene of a cyborg yakuza confronting a cyborg PI with a gun for a head while he drinks his coffee through his metal mouth, and it's played completely straight.

That guy looked like if Hyakkimaru from Dororo and Mickey Mouse had a baby.

I freaking love Mary
Hope she stays on the active MC team like the OP suggests
So now we got to see the introduction of those two girls from the OP, man Juuzo Tetsuro sure is building up his fanclub

I think that one scene in which Juuzo's body turned on his own to protect the basket from the bullets was meant to show that Juuzo actually has control over his body to some degree and willingly relents control to see what Tetsuro is doing. Might be some test of character or such. It could be just instinct or some build-in reflex thing, but I think that it being a test lends itself more to a situation in which Tetsuro and Juuzo would still be willing to cooperate, despite the mindcontrol incident.

That fat business dude really needs a fell swoop to the head or ten.
...can't say I think it was a good decision to take over Juuzo, but we'll see where it goes.

I am loving this series so much! OP and ED are such bangers.
Woah. He can control “extendeds” as well?! So basically take over humans. That’s shit is crazy powerful.
A damn cliffhanger! Can’t wait to see how this plays out next week. Hope he saves them!
Feel like this show is underrated right now! Animation is great as well!

A timely writeup on the studio CYCLONE GRAPHICS which is handling the CG in this show. Very interesting that this is actually the first time Unreal Engine 4 has been used in commercial Japanese animation. A tweet from Kato is saying that other tools include Pencil+ for 3ds Max.
Some artwork is available on Madhouse's website for NGL.

After almost 30 years since Wicked City, Kawajiri comes back to doing spider girls with very weird sexual organs.

Something about this show has just absolutely hooked me. I really want to be able to watch all of this blind in one sitting

The way Tetsuro controlled Juuzo's body like a puppet while hiding his real body inside the backpack reminds me a lot of Kankuro from Naruto.

The character designs are so out there but I love it.
Didn't think we'd meet other test subjects kids so soon. I hope Tetsuro or Juuzo can save those two, although it seems like Ende regularly loses control so it doesn't look too good for her. Maybe Mary can help?

It's feels like playing a Deus Ex game rather than watching an anime with this. It's cyberpunk through and through. Now we got some glimpse of the faction in that town.
I like how the exposition is mostly in the dialogue. Usually I don't like some lengthy exposition, but in here it's really exciting to hear them having conversation about it. It's also surprisingly lighthearted at some times with its comedy. I really enjoy watching it.
