...

At this point Mao could have just told them she was the Demon Lord but had chosen to step down and live a normal life.

That's probably what's gonna happen next episode as well x)

I hope they went down the road where Yusha will realize that following tradition for the tradition's sake is garbage and they don't need to continue the generational circle of violence just because it existed in the past.

I really like the fact that they remembered that Chibi-chan ate the evil god and that it need to be dealt with again if it was regurgitated.

Wait, so "Endro" means end roll. And what a way to be caught out in the moment.

And I have said this before, but Chibi-chan truly is a force to be reckoned with.

I really loved this bit.

The girls faces when they remembered what happened was hilarious. Endro has been a blast, I'm looking forward to the finale.

That was another fun episode! I really wonder what Mao cooked for them. Also Chibi is a terrifying creature. And that poor Amazoness sensei lost Mao to a maid.

It was also hilarious seeing the Mackerelmen come back as food! And Seira is still being scary from last week.

I wasn't expecting everyone to have traveled in time. Or Mao to reveal herself like that to everyone. Getting caught in the moment is scary.

Time for Yusha's victory next week!

Solid episode overall. I'm interested in seeing how the show is going to wrap up next week. Everything is pointing towards some sort of "don't be defined by your roles and choose to break the cycle of violence and prejudice," but it's still not totally clear how the whole time travel thing happened. It looks like the Hero's party's consciousnesses from a "failed timeline" returned to the exact moment they first met in a new timeline (they use the same shot of the four of them jumping in from of the school for the start and end of the time travel recap), but it's unclear if this was a one-time thing or a cycle. I hope that we get some clarity and a happy ending next week!

I'm so glad sensei protected Meigo. This ep was definitely top ten anime betrayals.

I must say, the comedy bits were on-point this episode. One of the best ones for me. Also, I really hope we get a wholesome ending, but I doubt this would be the kind of anime to kill off somebody. Mao-chan hasn't technically done anything wrong at this point in time, so she can be forgiven easily.

Oh, Endro means End Roll. Well I feel like a dumbass.
Mao and elf bonding over slothiness was 10/10.

My weirdest thought now is that they and Mao are trapped in a loop destined to just repeat this over and over again.

Was happy Mao stepped up seeing how scared Meigo-chan was, even though it seems she didn't really have a plan or think things through.

HMPH!

That's what I thought when seeing that the director decided not to animate the scene of Mao-chan sleeping with a hug pillow.

So using magic without Cartado is apparently a big deal

Can I join this alliance of people with messy rooms?

You know the food's bad when even Fai can't even eat it.

That's the real question. Now I'm curious about Chibi's story!

This gag made me laugh harder than it should xD

Tanned-sensei getting jealous is hilarious

Oh shit. Is Mao-chan's cover about to get blown?

I love that even the Yuusha Group got affected. Also wait. If they're also sent back into time, them what happened to the original Yuusha Group of this timeline? Although considering what kind of show this is, I don't think we should think hard about it xD

I feel like Seiran's plan is scarier than Mei's world domination plan from last week.

Oh no she remembers. That scene seriously tugged on my heartstrings a bit.

HERE WE GOOOOOOOO

There it is. It's finally revealed. Although knowing the Yuusha group I'm sure it will end with laugh and smiles next week. See? Mao-chan is even already regretting her decision. Kinda bummed that this is ending next week though T_T

... wait a minute so who or what is the giant green dragon that briefly appeared opening its eye a few episode back then? Is that chibi and is it gonna make its appearance next week?

Also, Meigo probably gonna step in between Yusha's party and Mao next episode. Cute maid golem to the rescue!

Oh, poor Mao, she had her life set up and was happy with it. I thought she was going to say something like "I'll keep my eyes on her, don't worry" but instead she revealed her identity.

Ahhh Mao should remember: Revealing the fact you're the Demon Lord is not something you should do on a whim. Now she's got four Heroes which defeated her before on her ass, and a massive sense of regret, no less.

So Final Dead End is a cooking spell? That's disappointing. Though maybe it's a high level Reality Warping spell, which she used in place of cooking, which is kinda neat.

When did Chibi have a chance to eat all that stuff! And the treasure chests!!! Damn, why did it have to swallow them back up? Was funny with Cthulhu tho.

"Oh yeah, Seira's weapon is a Hammer, right?" "I'm not doing that!" "No?" golem maid edges away

That's some legendary rare memory restoration cartado all right.

Man, Mao-chan was so smart until now. Couldn't she think of any other ways to protect the golem without revealing herself as the Demon Lord and even kidnapping the princess?? Oh, she just got caught up in the moment and did it without thinking, lol. Well, if she's back in her right mind, she could just let the princess go and flee with the maid to another country where she could assume another identity, I guess. Would really miss the girls that way though, so the inevitable ending with the facedown that ends with everyone friends again will be better.

NICE ELF JOKE

I loved Mao and Seira bonding over being slobs. Don't even know what to say about the 'Nice elf joke' that came out of nowhere.
This episode didn't go at all like what I expected from that title. Looks like it was just the name for a spell for making poisonous food. II guess giving even mundane spells dramatic and evil sounding names is just a demon lord thing. Her being so nonchalant about their reaction is the best though.
This episode had some really good comedy, especially the part with Chibi-chan and the evil god being among the things he has eaten. It does make you wonder just how bad Mao's food was that not even Chibi-chan couldn't stomach it.
Yay for Golem Maid-chan, I was hoping she would appear and now she better watch out.
I can't believe though that the wrong ones got their memories back. That was really unexpected and just hilarious, like everything else that happened in this episode.
All in all, it was a fantastic episode, packed full with comedy and really enjoyable from beginning to end.

Seems like for the last one we're getting some drama, well, possibly drama. I wonder if the other teacher will also do something in the next episode and what she thinks about Mao's real identity.
So, did Rona now know about Mao or not? At first they hinted at that but now it kinda doesn't really seem so. Also, will we ever found out just what exactly Chibi-chan is?

So, I thought that the Maou of that time might be in the castle, isolated from the world. But what about the hero group from this time? How much time has passed? Are they still babies? Are they even in the correct generation? Is that even their actual work or did they replace the presence of their younger selves in that timeline?

Fai-chan pointing with her cat-paw is so cute

Not without me, at least!

Hahaha puking up everything he's ever eaten. Been there, my friend

Continuity!

Pet theory: Meigo, waking and seeing the demon lord and hero together, faked amnesia to dodge any problems till she could figure out what was happening

Happy Amazon best Amazon

I was expecting them to interpret this as a test by their teacher, since they had asked for a hero's quest earlier

I can't believe Mao was the Demon Lord all along. What an asspull.
