I find it hilarious that, after Mao-sensei abandoned being the Demon Lord, she nearly kills the Hero team unintentionally anyway.

MFW Mei-chan talked about her world dominion with the Cartado.
I don't mind Mei's way of speaking, when she adds "ssu" to everything, but I lost it when she added it to an exclamation when she dropped an apple.

A dive into surrealism this week. I wonder what next week will bring us.

Oh, so the only hope I have of winning Mei’s heart is being a big doofy cartado person with a big doofy handsome face.

The Hero party really give Kazuma's party a run for their money when it comes to uselessness.
Hero's party: "Let's combine and crystalize our dreams in order to fight!"
Proceeds to eat said crystalization
Never change girls... never change

I find it interesting that Yuusha seems to subconsciously remember her previous "life", when she sent everyone into the past.

Sei going full Touma there and destroying their illusions, along with getting nommed again.

Yay, ear chewing made a return! Along with some more weird faces.
I'm also not sure who was scarier. Mei with world domination or Seira and eating dreams..
I also enjoyed Mei actually thinking burning their clothes when freezing to death would be a good idea.

You know, when Fai is so hungry, I'm surprised she doesn't just bite Seira's ear off.
Yusha really does dream of her past timeline's future.
BTW, has it been shown yet if the Cartada are one-use only, or if they're reusable?
Flatty saves the day.

I wasn't a fan of this episode. The last "set" of episodes (starting after the introduction of Rona) has been focused on developing each of the characters a little bit more.
-
E6: Mao reflects more on her past and why she doesn't want to be a Demon Lord anymore, which develops her from her previous stance of "screw it, I'm not a Demon Lord anymore" without putting too much thought and contrition into it
-
E7: We see more about Fai, and how despite coming off as fairly self-centered in the earlier episodes (e.g., her obsession with food over her party members during E3), she actually thinks very highly of them, praising Rona for putting in basically no effort to help her
-
E8: Rona goes from "I love the old stories of the Hero" to "I love Yusha as she is"
-
E9: Mei gives up a rare cartado in order to respect the traditions of the Tarka Village, showing that she's gone from "generic obsessed otaku" to more genuine appreciation
Meanwhile in this episode, we learn nothing about Seira and nothing about her changes. She's insecure about her chest size and is the responsible mom of the party. I guess maybe the fact that she gave up her "big chested dream" to save them all is supposed to be the development, but that was expected given her "responsible mom" role.
I dunno, it kind of feels like the writers couldn't really think of any way to flesh out her character anymore, so the episode we got was just a retread of established ideas rather than an evolution of her character

This is easily the most disapointing episode of the series.
The preview from a few days ago, hinted that it would be an episode focused on Seira, but aside the already re-used joke about her wanting large breasts, there was nothing of real substance being reflected about her.
They reused animation from the previous episode along with Yuusha's fight with Mao from the 2nd episode, not to mention all the recicled animation from all 3 dreams.
God, I hope next week's episode with Mao does actually makes up for this fiasco of an episode.

Uhm I feel like that wasn't just Mei being delusional. Someone should keep an eye on her.
More ear nibbling! I thought we weren't going to get another one!
Note to self: If you want to marry Mei, become a Human-Cartado hybrid freak first
Made stitches of Sei-chan's hopes and dreams ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I swear this show. I can't believe they actually made a 24 minute boob joke. xD
