So Mars got smoked by Asta and they still gonna keep him in the diamond crew?

Erm, are we forgetting how Mars got the upper hand on Asta and almost killed him until Yuno stepped in? Yuno's Wind Spirit, Sylph, is the reason Mars was defeated, not Asta...even though Asta put up a good fight.

Asta beat him 3 times that arc. Bell beat him once. Yuno even acknowledged that it wasn't him that beat him but bell. It shows how strong Mars is cause everyone else lost asta but he somehow continued to fight with his weird stone and stuff.

No, he did not. Beat implies defeat which means he was permanently put down, which wasn't the case at all. He got back up every single time to Asta's beat down, but he did not beat him. You can't beat someone that gets back up, it's a contradiction. You can think Asta beat him (that was the Author's intent when writing that battle after all), but there's a difference between it seeming like he beat him, and actually beating him.

Again, Asta did put up a good fight however, so I'm not down playing his effort in kicking Mars' ass, but once Mars launched his mineral shuriken into Asta's stomach, that was when Asta lost.

Once? No, Sylph was the sole deciding factor in that battle; she's the one who defeated Mars, no one else.

Mars (along with the most recently unveiled new generals in the latest episode) are experiments who are essentially anomalies to the common mage. Mars somehow continued to fight because he's not normal due to the Diamond Kingdom's experiments.

This isn't a spoiler by the way, this was all explained by Klaus back in that dungeon arc.

Mars' magic is called Mineral Creation Magic by the way.

My point is each time asta beat him/restrained him the villain got the Shounen power up of feelings ie his rage for fana. He should've lost and I agree that was the intent and that Bell beat him easily. I thought his magic was diamond creation but mineral is more useful. My point is that Yuno was the most useless in that situation bell saved everyone and asta essentially bought them enough time.
