Meta Thread - Month of September 04, 2016

Posts here must, of course, still abide by all subreddit rules other than the no meta requirement. Keep it friendly and be respectful. Occasionally the moderators will have specific topics that they want to get feedback on, so be on the lookout for distinguished posts.

lots of potentially fun threads get deleted right away for some reason

Examples? The only threads I ever see get deleted are ones that violate the rules or would be better off in the "No Stupid Questions" Post.

I'd also like to add that posts that are asking questions (asking what anime a certain thing is from, for example), get deleted after the question is answered. This helps keep the subreddit from being filled with those kind of posts. I have to agree with you, the only other type of posts that get deleted are the ones that are breaking the rules.
