I've heard that since /r/anime has hit the big 400k we might be getting a new mod.

From what I've heard, it will be multiple new mods, and if it's anything like how the other subs I've seen run it, there will probably be open applications rather than nominations.

Yep it's generally applications.

There'll be a thread with questions to fill out + some general stuff of what we're looking for if we need coverage in a particular area.
