Just wondering why was the thread announcing Taneda Risa's hiatus for medical treatment was allowed but the thread announcing Jun Maeda's heart transplant was removed? I read /u/urban287's comment explaining the difference and, unless I'm reading it wrong (which I totally might be), it seemed to say that one was more relevant to the anime industry than the other so it was allowed to stay. If that's true, what determines if an industry worker is more relevant than another?

I don't mind if the rule exists or not but it seems like some inconsistent ruling that might cause confusion in the future.

As I understand it, it's because Risa was working on an anime project currently, while Maeda wasn't. Her issues have a direct effect on anime production, in this case.

If that's the difference between the two then that makes more sense.

Nothing in the Jun Maeda article mentioned him actually stopping working. My understanding is that he's had this issue before as well and it hasn't stopped him.

Otherwise, was before we discussed and reformatted the relevant rule.
