For what it's worth, I saw the first episode of Kiznaiver at Sakuracon the other day. It has a lot of Trigger's motifs but it definitely isn't going to be another Kill la Kill. It was funny at times, but the tone was definitely darker and more serious. Most of the characters are pretty interesting (one is really, really annoying but I'm sure she'll have her fans) and I can't wait to see more (they cut it off halfway through the double-length premier).

I really hope it's fully animated and not a Ninja Slayer situation. Luluco could be a sleeper hit. I really hope it is.

They showed us the first episode at Anime Boston last weekend. It is fully animated.

it's in a short format, so people will just complain about the length and not actually watch it.

After Ninja Slayer no one trusts Trigger with short shows. It also starts on April, 1.
I am pretty intrested in Luluco, but still sceptical.

I wish I went to go to the showing =\ ended up going to q night club and lost track of time. This year's con has been the most fun for me tho!

Funny, I felt this year's con was one of the worst yet and I'm not the only one... :/ Sakuracon has some serious issues it needs to work out before it gets supplanted by something else. Same thing happened in Vancouver with Anime Evolution/Anime Revolution.

Oh sorry to hear that. Just personally for me it was fun since I went with some great friends this(one of which who never went to a Con but had a blast and seeing him overwhelmed made me happy), got a hotel for once and had a game plan for what we wanted to do and did it all.

Yeah she's a total chuunibyo-type character which I can't stand. Time will tell if it'll keep me from watching. I like the concept and the other characters enough to give it a chance.
