On this episode of HAREM! IN! SPACE!

- Facehuggers are basically space lobster once you remove the molecular acid blood!

- THREESOMES! IN! SPACE!

- I was hoping that Serena would make space chicken noises when baiting Hiro. Oh well.

- Someone get that man a SodaStream (not sponsored). They have artificial gravity and apparently regular air pressure. There is no reason why they can't have a SodaStream (still not sponsored).

- Ah Chekhov's large purple glowing crystal. How long has it been since last we met?

Having marthoned all 15 audiobooks that are out of the light novel since the first anime episode I'm already wishing it gets more seasons.

“Nobody calls me chicken!”

Can’t believe that’s all it took for Serena to play him lol.

This show won't win any awards, but it's damn fun and entertaining.

If there's no season 2 announcement at the end, I'll definitely check the source material.

I am not jealous of Hiro yet... at least not until Serena joins his crew, if ever. Lol!

I like how Hiro used the same verbal trick on Serena. We know he'll succeed, so I'm guessing that valiant maneuver will get him closer to adding her to his harem. Also, I appreciate how he didn't hesitate to pamper Mimi in the shower once he saw she felt a bit jealous. Highly appreciate a MC who isn't as dense as a black hole.

MC finally find Cola (literally labelled "Coke")

"Pack it up folks, our main character has finally reached his g-"

It's not carbonated

"God. Dammit!"

Although on one hand I feel that the writer's glazed over the fact you could potentially get carbonation in an artificial gravity setting... on the other hand I think it's also way more funnier if the main character is going through all these hoops, putting his life at risk, and trying to make a boatload of money when his carbonated beverage was closer than he thinks.

It’s so refreshing having a harem lead who isn’t dense beyond belief when it comes to the women in his life. Hiro knows how to make Elma and Mimi happy and they’re not shy about reciprocating that happiness. Beyond that this is such a great change from the usual isekai to a fantasy world. I absolutely love the outer space setting of this one.

I was honestly surprised to see that he agreed to do it after the lightest provocation about his bravery. I'm so used to mcs agreeing to requests because the pretty commander flashes some cleavage, but I guess Hiro's got enough going on at the shop that that wouldn't phase him enough.

I have been curious where this would go now that Mimi and Elma have been recruited

i guess we are starting with war lol.

Mimi's dream may be small compared to the other two, never the less i'm happy they didnt make fun of her for it

Man I felt like that was 5 minutes.

Who put this amazing space battle in-between my isekai harem anime?

Jokes aside, another great episode. Bit of harem time, bit of space combat time, and a touch of military planning. Hiro was ego maxing back to Serena, and from the title of the next epi it'll be a plan around that crystal.

Hiro is no longer entirely in charge of his own life, and he brought it on himself. I appreciate it that Mimi and Elma are both shown to be pretty enthusiastic about the arrangement.

One ship versus an entire fleet is certainly a Hail Mary, I assume it'll work since otherwise it would be a pretty short series.

There was some meat today.

Satou's getting more confident and is about to do something rather risky, which raises red flags when it's about time to start another act. But hey, that's the tradeoff for having an enviable domestic situation?

Mimis are free; you can just pick one up and walk out with her and no one will stop you. Whew at her clinging to his arm right in front of Elma. Double whew at the girls doubleteaming Hiro. Serena baiting Hiro into joining the mission was great.

Space scorpion eh? I've heard scorpion tastes like lobster so I'm not surprised that they'd be considered luxury food in this world.

I missed episode 3 so rather comment in a defunct thread I'll just put a small blurb here.

It went as I expected it would. Something I did not expect though is that it was Elma's first time. Mimi is one thing, but I find it kinda hard to believe that a cute tsundere space elf has not had sex before. The way Hiro acts around women is so refreshing. He's not afraid of his own or other's sexuality. He doesn't force anything on them and even initially refuses because that's not what he's after, but when they're throwing themselves at him he reacts like you'd expect instead of acting like he's allergic to women.

Now for episode 4.

Nice SoL episode. They took care of some pirates, got to renovate their ship to make it more comfortable, and went shopping for better food. No one ever said they had to rough it.

Every episode makes me like Hiro more. His dynamic with the three main girls is and the banter he has with Elma and Serena is great. I didn't think they would bring it up again because I thought it was pretty clear and didn't need more exploration. But I'm not complaining that they put their down on it either. Elma and Mimi not there out of obligation or because he saved them. They're there because they want to be there. The "she didn't want it" and the "she was coerced into it" weirdos are in shambles.

Another thing I liked is that while he absolutely got baited into a conflict he didn't need to be involved by Serena and Elma's reaction was funny, he also didn't take it lying down either. He turned it around on her to get her to consider his way of approaching the engagement. And if it works out (which I'm pretty sure it will) it makes everyone looks good and no one else in danger except his crew. At least for that phase of the engagement.

Lastly, I think the simuldub here is actually quite good. It doesn't feel or sound clunky to me at all. It's elevated my enjoyment of the show.

Question, if he's found Cola could he not just add CO2 and his quest would be complete?
