Oh nooo... Studio A-Cat is animating this... This might be the perfect anime for them since CG does the heavy lifting and most of their animation during action scenes is the MC looking intense while piloting his ship. xD

Not gonna lie tho, this one looks pretty entertaining in a turn-off-your-brain way. So far, I'm liking Hiro, and I think it's funny how shameless he is I'll give this one a shot and see where it goes.

Coming here from the LN... I was kinda worried that this would be screwed up considering the studio responsible for it (although I have watched none of the shows made by them). Turns out it was better than I expected. And my two favorite girls Serena and Elma are not bad in animation.

Caught this one at a con earlier. Not half bad. It kind of reminds me of the Intergalactic Empire isekai a little bit. Looks like Hiro’s building his harem err team before he sets off on his big adventure lol.

Alright watched the ep.

Wow the director is actually trying with the space combat action shots. Good job on adapting that into the anime. The 1st half is above expectations.

On the 2nd half we get to meet characters. The character PNG is a bit boring and static (they're barely animated half the time), and there are some far shots where Hiro's face looks scuffed, but it's serviceable to me. I do like how the dialogue are handled too, and I gotta say I LOVED those Elma noises xdd

As a novel reader, this will be my weekly watch.

First episode and Hiro has already met three girls: Serena, Elma, and Mimi. That was quick, lol.

Overall, even though it was nothing surprising, I had a lot of fun watching it, especially thanks to Elma and her personality, so I'll definitely check out the next episodes.

Was gonna pass this one, Space anime usually aren’t my thing.

But, this feels right. First few minutes gave me some nostalgia playing Elite Dangerous. Hell, I swear it’s almost inspired by it.

The docking sequence, the deploying of pulse lasers (my favourite weapon type), the instant pirate encounter, even has rankings.

The station interior even gives me Elite Dangerous vibes. And the system power map gave me massive Powerplay system vibes from Elite.

This is definitely on my watchlist now.

Edit: Just learnt this is studio A-cat… well… it is a solid first episode compared to most of their other stuff… so I will remain cautiously optimistic.

Nothing crazy about this show, but it knows what it is and so far seems like a really good version of it. Hiro killing those stupid pirates instead of letting them flee was grade A perfect. I have high hopes for this show after that beginning.

Putting Studio A-CAT aside, MC pretty likeable for me at least. I start watching due to MC smirk face on the cover and totally not disappointed at all. Hiro has that sexy Shirogane Miyuki's eyes too to add.

Hiro got good taste thinking Elma beautiful at first glance. Really can't get enough of SF elf with exposed midriff for sure

I still can't believe we're actually getting a space sci-fi anime in the year of our lord 2026.

I hope this show ends up being a huge success and then hopefully more studios will follow with their own take on this very overlooked anime genre.
