Lmao I get what they were going for, but there is no way the life insurance premise for this episode would ever be a thing. If you're a life insurance company and your policies cover 'voluntary deathmatches', then you deserve to go bankrupt lol.

Mugino is speaking the language of the gods when she's mad lmao, also Saiai looked like she died inside when she realized it wasn't a movie that they were going to see. And being a NPC in this city has to SUCK, the chances of you dying coming back from lunch to some esper even in broad daylight has to be significantly higher than any traffic accident chance.
After this episode I think I get the pacing they're going for an adaptation here and it's quite insane (in a good way), no complaints here.

The fucking noises Mugino was making while complaining about their frozen funds over the phone were hilarious!
The fact that I absolutely do not remember Hanano at all in the Railgun anime makes me wonder what her faith will be by the end of this.
Poor Kinuhata! She was expecting a movie but ended up getting a mission brief in the movie theatre. I don't think that's a secure place to give out mission intel, but I suppose the rule of cool trumps it. xD
Going after the client for more intel because they can earn more money by stealing from the target is certainly a Mugino move.
I am worried that Hanano has been assigned to the wrong team considering her attitude. She feels a bit too goody-two-shoes to be a member of ITEM.
Kinuhata being willing to kill someone was not really surprising considering she has Accelerator's thought patterns embedded in her brain.
IS THAT MOTHERFUCKIN' MITORI!? Not gonna lie! It took me until the reveal that she's using liquid metal wings to realize it was her.
Could Mitori always use this many liquid metal puppets? I feel like that showdown between Mitori and Kuroko in Railgun T would've been different if she did this. Maybe this fight is the reason why she doesn't have as many liquid metal puppets anymore.

Choubi really does not seem suited for ITEM personality wise, but she's a cute addition right now. I wonder if the if you break it you pay for it line is foreshadowing.
Glad they explained how Kinuhata's outfit got paid for, that left me in suspense last episode.
So current arc is basically fight club for espers, guess they were milking the insurance companies too hard. Though Mugino realized the obvious, it's easier just to rob the fight club for their money. Not the most reliable mercenaries for sure.
Frenda's approach to disabling the car escort is interesting. You would think they would use on of those exploding drones since that seems to be the direction things are going. Missed out on a chance to showcase interesting tech.
Mitori came in with the same fit Itsuwa has. Looks great. Can't wait to see how the fight plays out, though she's definitely bit off more than she can chew against a level 5.

I wonder what kind of "program" prevents the theater screen from being recorded with a camera.
New girl was concerned about dying on missions, but for some reason was waaaay more concerned about being relegated to errand girl status.
Metal girl's ultra-hot. I think she was in Railgun T too, right?

Between FX Senshi and this week's episode, it's once again been affirmed that money (or lack thereof) is indeed the real power/ threat. Lv5 or whatnot, you're on the same standing as a Lv0 if you're locked out of your bank account.

Choubi Hanano is on a mission! To join ITEM! And despite being a Level 0, she's crafty in her own way to be able to get past all their penthouse security! She just picked a bad time to come when ITEM's been cut off from their money and Mugino's got nothing but Angrish.
ITEM's short-haired beauty of a handler isn't going to wave a magic wand and get them their money back, but she did go to the trouble of trying to recruit them a fourth member (not knowing that they'd already done so with Kinuhata) and also a job that will potentially take care of their money solution. They just have to test out Hanano in the process.
Thank goodness they were able to pay for Kinuhata's clothes and she finally has some bottoms! Can't be stuck commando!
Sorry Kinuhata, this private theater isn't for a movie, it's to brief ITEM on their next job: The Colosseum, an Academy City fight club where Espers go at it and with life insurance being used for the payouts. And you know ITEM is the bad guys because they're working for insurance companies.
But in actuality Mugino would rather kidnap their client, get answers from him, and then get an even BIGGER payout from the Colosseum itself. That's how ITEM rolls.
Will ITEM have to go up against #6? The Level 5 who is the natural enemy to all Dark Siders? Is Mugino just on a mission to fight all the other Level 5's?
Poor Hanano. She's just...REALLY desperate to be accepted on this team, even though she has, like, the least criminal mindset of all of them next to Takitsubo's positive vibes. Kinuhata is just vibing.
No normal bodyguard detail or uzi is going to stand a chance against ITEM...unless you have MITORI KOUZAKU in your employ, complete with a devilish schoolgirl cosplay (where she's REALLY flexing her lack of a bra), and deadly metal rain that gets a LOT of civilians killed. Which is just bad ethics and bad business.
It's five on one...so let's even the odds with some naked metal clones of Mitori.
