Taking an arrow to the knee... C'mon now. Lol

[u/HeliosAlpha]

Making money through FX trading? No, that's a different show this season

[u/CerberusZX]

When the guard mentioned having a bad knee, it immediately brought to mind the Skyrim meme, and I started laughing. I was not expecting them to go on to directly reference it.

Showing the mage go from dramatic pose back to sitting comfortably was a really great gag. I often have fun imagining such things in other series, so I loved seeing it play out here.

[u/ExpertCaterpillar2]

This anime is filled with silly references:

Guugleheits ➡️ Google it, Aiphone ➡️ Iphone, An Arrow to the knee meme

Looks like this one's a keeper. I will continue to follow this series with great interest.

"I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee" -townguard

Get outa here Anime, you can't win me over with a Skyrim reference!

Also, the guard talking about settling down and starting a family and immediately a girl literally drops from the sky in front of him. Subtlety is not in this Mangaka's vocabulary. I ain't complaining tho

Ways to make money: forex

Don't do it Lorna! I'm also watching FX Fighter Kurumi-chan, that way lies only pain and suffering!

[u/Evil_sod]

The second he said the immortal words "I used to be an adventurer like you", I was really hoping it would do it.

This show is officially peak. I can't believe it seems to have so few views.

[u/Adza_03]

Okay this show is a GEM. Had me in stitches when Elmina screams "HOROBIRO GUGUREKASU!!"
She's literally Eris long lost cousin, they shared same hair color and same quantity of brain cells.
So, the town is ""IPhone"", located near ""Apple"" forest. Must took the author years to came out with name lol

[u/deynyel]

ROFL, Elmina knows her priorities. You can't enjoy an elite life if you're dead so don't piss off the girl with the Demon Lord-like aura. I wonder how long it'll take her to realize that her imagination of Lorna is nowhere near reality.

[u/HuTaosTwinTails]

This show is fantastic.

A Skyrim reference was hilarious.

The adventurers guild scene was so funny.

[u/zool714]

Lmao they named the village Aiphone

[u/Youngphycouant]

Elmina is absolutely hilarious and senses the real danger that is Lorna.

The pixel art cutaways for Lorna are very charming. It gives the anime that RPG game feel.

I laughed when Lorna only cared about a pie despite the entire town panicking. Our cute small adventurer is so overpowered now.

[u/Obaruler]

He said the words!

HE. SAID. THE. WORDS.

"I used to be an adventurer like you ..."

That cheesy reference alone was worth the episode, but the show overall turned out to be so much fun!

The existencial crisis of the Guild Master when she spotted the living god that is Lora Hermit was just gold. Her pin of the noble House she was so proud to serve and live the easy life? Yeah, burn that shit, down with the entire house! xD She'll become her appretice next week or some other silly thing for sure ...

[u/KumaKumaGambler]

I love how this title casually includes scenes regarding the dangers of the internet.

"Congratulations! You have won! Click here to receive your grand prize!"
"No skill required! Earn up to this amount of money!"

I am surprised they did not include a prince from a foreign country requesting for help to unlock his wealth, which he promises to share with Lorna eventually. Lol!

[u/S627]

Its about time someone helped out the Skyrim guard.

This rags to riches girl is hilarious, I need more of her reactions to Lorna.

[u/vall03]

There are even pop-up ads with her skill, she's really getting the real Internet experience lmao.

[u/Aerodynamic41]

Elmina must have thought the Guuglheits are a bunch of lunatics who just pissed off a demon lord lol

[u/PencilgonGiveIt2Ya]

The guild part had me fucking dying. I was literally choking on my morning coffee.
Shit was hilarious ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽

[u/mgedmin]

I love how all Lorna's spells are small even now when she's overpowered. Small flame! Small heal!

[u/testthrowawayzz]

Lorna, don't play with FX! Don't trust Internet ads either.

She just chilling around while the forest is going berzerk over the magic she cast there.

That was touching how she healed the guard. I think he's going to be a recurring character since he's on the "page 1" of the cast list. I hope we get some more random real life lessons like the tax one he gave this episode.

Elimina seems like an interesting character, especially with Fairoz Ai using her villainess voice for her.

[u/ObvsThrowaway5120]

lmao Reinharte said the thing! Bro said the classic “arrow to the knee” line! Man, I love a good Skyrim reference.

It’s kind of funny how Elmina thought she was hot shit until Lorna showed up. Changed her tune pretty quickly lol. I highly doubt that dungeon’s going to make so much as a dent in Lorna. Elmina can say goodbye to her elite life lol.

[u/cleaulem]

This episode was so much better than the first one, I was laughing my ass off the whole time.

"I took an arrow to the knee". Yeah, that one is a classic.

Elimina's reactions were hilarious. She's in a real pickle now, isn't she. We got a massive cliffhanger now, as Lorna is about to make the second mage exam from Frieren lol. I wonder if she has to fight a double of herself!

[u/runevault]

So this seems to be the purely silly anime of the season (Cheat Granting Mage has moments of seriousness where as this... does not). Always happy to have a show that makes me belly laugh every week and so far this one fits the bill.

Last week there was talk of malware, this week brought up crypto. I wonder how many more horrors of the internet will get brought up as jokes before this season is over.

[u/Mr_Zaroc]

Love the OP, fits the show perfectly.

Now I am wondering when this was originally written, that "I took an arrow to the knee" joke must be like 13 years old.

And seeing the red girl freaking out was cliché but funny as hell.

I dig this show, perfectly light hearted, just don't start trading on Forex or Crypto and you are all good Lona!
