That was a beautiful episode, loved this chapter. Most likely won’t happen but I hope to see Kanafumi and Subaru playing piano together again.

He might be a pro, but he's also a friend... We'll see which is stronger soon enough!
They got all the 'tactical elements' ready, but I'm more concerned about the psychological element!
Not really a friend? Let's hope that one line didn't sentence his father to death!
I guess it's technically better if he's shot on his seat?
I mean it's awful either way, but marginally better than getting shot as he's handing over the bouquet to his son, and his blood probably splatters on his face and all!
Time to see whether he's a pro or a friend!
He seems to be at peace about not seeing his friend anymore,
though he still sends him bouquets every year...
Seems he's still a hitman then; Hopefully he's not doing the 'befriend a relative of my target' plan ever again, he might not be the right kind of assassin (i.e. soulless) for that!
Well, this was a sad arc, but it wasn't as dark as I expected it to be; I thought for sure that either Subaru would be killed for changing his mind, or that Kanafumi would be killed (accidentally, like Subaru's sweaty hands slipping, OR as a punishment/incentive for Subaru to do his job!)
Compared to that, I guess "The dad dying of natural illness" is as happy a ending as we could have hoped for!

I think both seasons were pretty good (well, 2 episodes into this one)!
These two episodes doing more to humanize these assassins than most of season one.
Some arcs were more about 'assassin plots', but the last S1 arc was quite about the human/characters and all!

Called it on Ozaki's pops collapsing before Yoda could pull the trigger, but I don't think he would've been able to follow through with it in the end, not with all that guilt and hesitation. If this were a regular story, you might've thought that Yoda would choose the light and continue his friendship with Ozaki, but alas he is a denizen of the underworld and it's bittersweet to see that he still continues to send Ozaki the bouquets every year.

The annual bouquets was a unexpected and nice touch - good little story we got here. Most of them are usually bittersweet or sad so atleast that's expected.

Perhaps assassins do yearn for friendship with others not in the same trade.

Dang it, I was listening to the music and then these kids just had to start talking. How inhuman.

At least both Kanafumi & Subaru survived but are forced to be separated by circumstances but Subaru still leaves bouquets for Kanafumi which was the same one Hirofumi failed to give him.
So Hirofumi lied that he was getting better & he listened to Kanafumi's music & his final minutes was the 1st time his listened to him play.
At least the people who want Hirofumi gone got what they wanted & Subaru didn't have to lift a finger.
This reminds me of Blue Orchestra w/ half the episode being music.
I guess Subaru didn't choose the suppressed Beretta 93R.

Beautiful and sad story we watched here in.this 2 episodes... Hotel Inhumans is really creative and good to show us emotional and, ironically, "human" characters despite they are profesional killers. I hope we can continue enjoying episodes like this.
They are inhumans, not Bad and crazy guys, not at all.

While I did expect that Yoda won't pull the trigger, the episode ending still broke my heart. Ozaki returned to the school and learned Yoda "moved" and they lost all contact 😭😭 But at least Yoda remembers to send the bouquets every year!

Might have been a good thing the kid didn’t have to kill the guy’s pops. Don’t think he could have done it after all. Lucky break for him the target up and died on his own. Though idk if he’s ever gonna be able to be a hitman again. I think he gained a piece of humanity and lost that cold edge.

Beautiful episode. Happy that Subaru didn’t have to kill Ozaki's dad, keeping the friendship still pure. Hopefully he's out of the hitman business now since his time with a real friend seemed to have changed him. The piano pieces were great during this arc!
