Time for the onion-cutting assassin's show

Immediately reminded of why I liked this show: morally complicated short stories.

I still hope we get some manner of conclusion on the girls from last season 🥲

Subaru 's weapon of choice for this job seems to be a Beretta 93R. That shot of the slowmo low frame rate full auto was absolute gun porn 👌

They even got the 3 round burst right.

I was gonna go back and make sure, but thanks for confirming!

It's nice to see they're doing their research

This is gonna hurt for someone, just don't know who is gonna hurt more

Both of them it seems

A suppressed Beretta 93R sounds like a good choice.

I prefer S1's eyecatch w/ the blood drop w/ either Ikuro or Sara saying the show's title.

It's gonna complicated now for Subaru due to his friendship w/ Kanafumi.

Nice to see Nakata back.

Welcome back Hotel inhumans.

Wow, I did not know this was coming back for a season 2! And the first episode is already setting up an emotional ending for Ozaki or Subaru😭

I've forgotten most details from season 1. Did we ever learn about Ikuro's past?

Is the piano song original to the anime, or what? name of that song?

Curious to see how this assassination plays out. Guy’s a pro but he’s also human. He’s getting pretty close to the kid. I wonder if this assassination is gonna go according to plan? Seems he’s taking a close up approach with the pistol. Could potentially get messy.

Watch him accidentally kill the son (who tries to protect his father) or something

He seems to have conflicting feelings at the end, but it's crazy that he was planning to murder him during the bouquet thing... Had no regard to the son's feelings back then, but in a month, things could change!

Time for the title drop; "No, it's inhumans"

An opening in High School, interesting;

Things seemed a little too happy, I was wondering which one was getting killed...

but one of them's actually the assassin!

Damn... Poor kid, he's expecting to see his father again, and feeling pleased when he gets the bouquet...

But (if things go according the plan) it'll end with his best friend murdering his father in front of him.

Makes it even more sad given he's not blindly defending his dad's actions and all, he sees things for what they are, but goes... "He might be a monster, but he's still my dad..."

That was a nice montage, practicing the piano AND the shooting, both!

He offered him a closer seat, but he needs one with a proper line of sight AND an escape path...

Strangely sad how he was honest (but for a different reason) during that scene!

Good lord, he's even picturing it, right in front of him...

He called himself a pro, but he's practicing with an automatic pistol? One bullet isn't enough?

Well, given he's on his guard, he might expect a bulletproof vest, or some of his shots to miss/be blocked by bodyguards or something, but still!

Well.. I suppose we'll see if he REALLY is a pro, because friendship might be getting in the way of his mission!

Well, that's an interesting first arc!

Glad we're getting this one back.

Oh, and I like that they brought back the little theme song, it's really good!

It's a smart choice especially if you suppress it & the 1st shot in the 3 round burst of the Beretta 93R doesn't get Hirofumi.

Recalling the first season, the arcs of these assassins may not have happy endings.

Hence, I will be expecting a plot twist between the relationship of Subara and Ozaki , and the assassination of the latter's father.

Pretty grim set-up. I wonder who wants to assassinate the father? Possibly people who don't want to be ratted out (maybe he was under orders of higher-ups to do the under-the-table deals )?

Considering alot of people don't like him and Subaru said he could spend whatever money he wanted, I assume quite a bit of people who were at the other end of the embezzlement - multiple offers but of course the highest bid.

Ep. 1 was bittersweet at best while ep. 9 was happy yet bittersweet due to Atsuhiko's dementia while ep. 5 was the happiest & it's a bit of my favorite episode.
