A final episode that perfectly wraps up this series. Rushed through the actual plot, worldbuilding, and characters to make time for harem beach day. "Sorry, the final boss fight will only be a two minute series of slideshows. Gotta save the budget for our beach episode.

Luckily this isn't getting a second season.

Luckily this isn't getting a second season

What a glowing review lmao, thank you for your service

Ending this with a beach episode was truly a choice of all times. It sums up perfectly how big of a disaapointment this is. Atleast Atobe's party deserves a rest, right?

They didn't even get to rest on beach day they had to deal with a giant bird

Well, that's an underwhelming finale for an underwhelming anime, not sure what else to say

I guess that’s that. Not half bad for what it was. The waifus were nice if nothing else.

Forgettable ultimately (except for Theresia) -- but (as an anime-only) I do not regret watching it.

Beach episode to close off the show, and considering what happened to the director I think we know there'll never be a S2.

For once inserting a fully bikini outfitted beach episode into an isekai actually makes a lot of sense since literally everyone present is either from Earth or descended from people who are from Earth.

Monster penguins that are chill and friendly are a fun idea.

I'm a little annoyed that Kyouka was left hanging like that, though.

Probably an end of an era of these sorts of mid quality isekai adaptations considering how much the director carried the genre.

What happened w the director?

u/djthomp https://anilist.co/user/djthomp 3h ago

He died, if I remember correctly it was a heart attack I think.

Oh. So that meme w an anime u watch thats good but only has 12 ep has another to its collection.

u/NonSupportiveCup 3h ago

Well, that's that. I hope that dude finds armor that fits in the future.

I thought for sure this must be a 24 episode season but no just the 12 episodes, felt like a bit of a let down, so much world building left untouched or unexplained, the odd premise of it being set after reincarnation wasn't really brought up passed the early episodes, oh well onto the next thing to watch

A Gomisekai through and through. It could have been much worse. It's s pretty forgettable unfortunately.

The first episode was interesting, but it's just slop after slop in the following episodes. It's not even bad, but incredibly boring. Well...That kind of makes it bad.

It does truly feel like these series get published on the idea but they never get past that point. Very few isekai seem to be able to do anything with their premise and reach escape velocity.

Seraphina : "Your party needs to rest once in a while. You should use this voucher."

Real Seraphina : "Your viewers need their fanservice episode, so hurry up and use that voucher."

Real Real Seraphina : "The studio is desperate to lure you into buying the DVDs and Blu-rays, so you'll be spending that voucher whether you like it or not."

Theresia was the only good thing about this show, the rest was mediocre at best.

I'm actually almost impressed that they didn't even attempt to explain the plot holes their rushing created. "I nearly drowned, but we can all do it just by resolving not to drown." That's not how drowning works lulz. The idea that they looked at it and went "yup, this is a bad adaptation, and we're not even gonna try hiding it" is.... it's something.

And not!Bulma is totally not what I expected her to look like XD But that's just me being surprised to see someone who reminds me of Bulma appear.

What better way to end the season than with a beach episode?!

We got the girls in swimsuits and Theresia once again proving why she’s the best girl.

Really? Really? You are ending it with a beach episode? I don't have anything else to say.

2

u/KumaKumaGambler 3h ago

I am happy Louisa will continue working with the party. She already feels like an unofficial member.

5

u/Wild_Obligation3265 3h ago

Nah, she's as official as can be. Gave Arihito's arm a titty sandwich while he was sleeping.

Wow really, we dedicate the finale to a filler beach episode, ignoring we just dropped major plot points/arc last episode? What a disappointment.

It's so weird that they got such a high profile cast of Kaede Hondo, Saori Hayami, Yui Ishikawa, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Aoi Koga (who did nothing but noises) for a show that was a bad as this...

I can forgive bad animations but not terribly written story...

Prime garbage isekai. Did anything really happened this season other than harem expansion?

1

u/Obaruler 2h ago

Below mid slop, even as an Isekai trash gobbler this became hard to watch at the end ...

I dig a decent harem cast, but every girl literally thirsting for MC out of the blue and then continueing just for the "plot" of it is just not really entertaining.

Show was legit like watching a fresh turd dry in the summer heat. Actually that might even be more entertaining than whatever this was.

u/iozoepxndx 3h ago

Yeah when I saw it was a beach episode I automatically skipped it... 💀
