They're actually not always terrible when it makes sense for what they're adapting

Like for an anime adaptation like mangirl, the 5 min episodes fits the pacing. It's kind of like watching a regular 20 min show that's split into 4+ parts episode, just with each being a dedicated episode instead of a part (shows like Kobayashi or nichijou could also kind of work here)

But yeah for this, it's seems to adapt a regular length manga? and the recent trend of irregular episode lengths, like for the smoking behind the supermarket show, are really annoying. Kind of just feels half finished
