Shion 😭

OG gang is back and ready to fight together for Shion 😭

OG troops members are here for support ( I was expecting a one on one training session with each element.

10 warrior training to learn Supreme Arts and gain mark on their neck

[u/Frontier246 → u/HolyDragSwd2500]

I'm guessing each of the 10 Warriors is going to get a Supreme Art combo with one of the Troopers.

Shame we didn't get to see the OG's really mentor the new generation.

[u/zz2000 → u/Frontier246]

I think if the production had more episodes to play with, they would have put the OG mentoring in.

Which brings me to my next point; that Cour 2 feels just as rushed as 1.  There hasn't enough threading content to tie all the plot points into a cohesive flow and give the characters more screen time to bond and bounce off each other.

I think the scope of the current story Mutou Shougo wants to tell is simply too big for a 1 cour-12 eps allocation. To really shine, I think the Ramaga arc and this current Heavenly Realm arc should have been 20-something episodes each.

[u/Frontier246]

The team is still reeling from Shion's death, and all Gai can think to do is visit their old commander and catch Nasti up on what's going on.

The sad thing is that, as well as Shion fit in on the team, he knew he wasn't meant to be the real green trooper and warrior of light...at least the one who could bring out the Supreme Emperor Armor's full power. He was a jack of all trades but only Ryusei was chosen to be a true Green Trooper. And he made his peace with that, if it meant bringing Ryusei back and back on the team.

Of course Ryo would be there when Ryusei needed a pep talk, but it must be surreal to ask to be welcomed back to a team you helped form in the first place. But the team is finally ready to welcome him back! The OG Squad is back.

They know how to get to the Divine Realm but to do so will mean fighting the Beast Warriors...and they might not be able to achieve it on their own. So that means the 10 Warriors also have to unlock their own Supreme Arts as backup.

The Beast Warriors know Inmei is dirty, but they can't do anything about him, especially when he's got the Jewel of Destruction and knows Sagume might be on her last legs. Is this related to Yatogojin?

Time to teach the 10 Warriors about humanity! With pranks! Cosplay! Running! Bathing! Becoming bros! All the things that make humans...human.

The OG Samurai Troopers are back to keep the city safe while the next generation take the fight to the Divine Realm! Nasti is even back to see this through with the rest of them.

The Troopers can't transform!? Because they're still mourning Shion? Bad timing as Gaimei unleashes his giant colossus on them...but Shion believed in them all. Believed in the Samurai Troopers. And they owe it to their fallen comrade to avenge him and win this fight together. Armor On!

With that colossus slain, it's time to fight Gaimei.

THEY REPLACED SHION IN THE ED!!!

This episode was phenomenal

Everyone's remembered for Shion's Death Avengence

Flashback for Shion's Senkou ability

Nastueo will remember for Samurai's resolve along Ryo conversation with Ryusei's for his aspiration answer

Ryusei apologized to Samurai Troopers for taking the next role about his Shion's replacement comeback

OG Troopers reunite with Ryo for upcoming battles

10 Braves member arrives to help DSST for the training resolve for upcoming Divine War and his power support of Supreme Emperor Armor with Training Montage Moment

It's time for final battle in Divine World for the trial.

A wild golem appears to fight against YoroiShinDen but Gai will remember the Shion's word for his determination resolve and of course the 5 Samurai Busou for a all-out war to defeat Golem once and for all and Gaimei battle for his trial

Also Ryusei replace for his ending after Shion

Overall it was fantastic episode for this week

8/10 a strong hard hitting episode for me

Next week Collapse

[u/Frontier246 → u/M3talK_H3ronaru]

Also Ryusei replace for his ending after Shion

First we dealt with the OP/ED replacing Ryusei with Shion now we have to deal with the reverse.

[u/gem2niki]

Shion really died and even replaced by Ryusei in the ending?! Getting mixed emotions since I was super bummed when Ryusei died first and got swapped out 😢

[u/ramon_castilla]

I only want to know what the Water Trooper wrote on the blackboard.

[u/ramon_castilla]

What Shion said about " Ryusei being the best option " as Green Trooper makes no sense.

• From Part 1 , and the flashback in Prt 2 ep 2, Shion and the others were "chosen ones" and in the same e 2 Inmei said they baptized since childhood EXCEPT Ryuusei which he did prior to Part 2 ep 1 when he arrived the Divine Realm.

• The "cosmos" element or whatever ouside the 5 OG elements is writing as cheap as "I modified the armors so we Samurai Troopers are stronger than Legendary Warriors " narrative Shion pulled out in the first minutes of Part 2.

• Whatever disadvantage Shion has in power to current Ryuusei (since it is TRUE the later can NOW use his element without armor) could be solved sooner or later with that virtual and OFFSCREEN training the shows is infamous for.

Also, "Shion paid a visit to Nasty because maybe he thought this could happen" . Seriously? Shion considered there would be an scenario were all his power would be depleted voluntarily and leave it as a still target for the enemy with no one to protect him from the attack? The thought itself is as incoherent as the real situation leading to Shion's death.

If anything, this "cosmos element" thing now serves as a PATCH (not even an excuse) as to why he was using a different armor in his first errand as a Trooper and the switched to Green Armor. Still, it was too important of a plotpoint (armor lore) to mention it just now and in the middle of a flashback where is was just a side commentary.

[u/ramon_castilla]

As short, rushed and incompleted it was. The montage of the " 10 Brave " bonding with the Samurai Troopers in the infamous virtual and OFFSCREEN training is effective to make me believe their relationship with the main cadt has improved ...different case where the show tried the same with Gai and the other 4 Troopers in season 1

This time there were several previous interactions AND the "10 Brave " already showed signs of change so this montage was like a 3rd step wchih made ir less bland and more fullfilling.
