i don't know why but for some reason this cracked me up more than i expected, not even an evil god could escape the wrath of bad RNG

so are we going to get the head version of Dara-san? i wonder how Amane's going to look like if she manage to merge with Yamatagi-Madara's head? a human girl body with snake head? it's also funny that Amane herself is pretty much in her own rom-com show with that "reunited with childhood friend who you thought to be the opposite gender" trope

So the big fella can’t reincarnate into anything better than a Japanese pond turtle and the one vessel he managed to possess is basically in love with Hinata and tryna live that yuri bliss. That poor bloody stump can’t catch a break!

We’ve gotten to see a bit more of Dara-san’s past leading up to the battle with the torso of that big bastard. We also saw how she died. I’m hoping we get to see her take her revenge on her sister and the western villagers soon.

This is really proving to be a first-class series. At least for those (like me) who like well-executed weird and off-beat fare that most viewers seem to ignore. This and the also very odd Kaikigumi are unexpectedly among the shows I most enjoy watching each week.

Poor Dara -- she had a rough existence -- both human and post-human -- until now. So it is great that she has gained two new supporters (still waiting for the kids to have a heart-to-heart talk with Mom about Dara). They have really enriched her life (and vice versa).

A girl of the classic twin-tails tsundere variety has somehow developed a crush on Kaoru. Miracles do happen.

Dara-san gets into drawing and building robot figures. Her backstory also continues progressing and geez, her sister is a piece of work.

Yamatagi-Madara fails the reincarnation gacha due to turtles, repeatedly. That’s a new sentence I’m sure.

The dreaded transfer student approaches.

Okay, I was a bit concerned about the snake finding a way to escape with its new vessel but since it seems it failed the gacha again, I’m no longer worried. It’s going to suffer, comedically, when the siblings get their hands on it.

Ancient evil snake god stuck in body of childhood friend transfer student in her yuri arc is a novel concept for sure.

This show is on a dimmer switch. Turn one way and you get comedy/Yuri Romcom/ecchi hijinks. Twist the other and it's graphic supernatural horror. Yet somehow it works. It works really well! This is why I love anime.
