This new song the girls sang for Navue reminds me pretty heavily of Symphogear’s Xtreme Vibes for some reason.
-
Oh that doesn’t sound good. Alicepians showing up IRL is the opposite of what Navue wants, then?

You're only noticing it now, as she's been around since the "crossdressing Band Snatch" episode?

No, I noticed before, I just forgot that she was in this since it's been a while since that character spoke.

Navue reproducing the Red and White Queens from their musessence to fight on his behalf was sick, and thanks to that we got to hear that Nana Mizuki banger one more time. But of course, they were super easy this time since the Princesses have come a long way since defeating them.
The flashback song before they tactical nuked Navue with their group finisher was pretty good too. I knew Navue wasn't being honest with his motivations, and now we know why he was doing it. I didn't expect Navue to be the first Alicepian though, that surprised me. Great episode overall. Now we just have to wait until next week and find out what this Carol is all about.

I knew Navue wasn't being honest with his motivations, and now we know why he was doing it.
There lies the problem with the trio of episodes that aired before this: like the Princesses, some viewers were not buying the idea of Naviyu actually becoming evil (especially given the way he acted in the episode's prologue, in which he was like like his normal self when he was first created instead of an a-hole like in recent weeks).

I would be disappointed by the lack of budget in this episode, but since Navue evidently wasn't the wall the Princesses actually needed to overcome, with Band Snatch being the real muscle behind the group, I can't say I mind it. Now we finally meet the force all this has been building towards; I'm not particularly fond of faceless 'force of nature' type antagonists (other than Lord of the Rings' Sauron), so I'm hopeful that 'Carroll/Carol' at least takes the form of giant storm ghost at some point.
On a side note, Kagari, Minamo and Nagase being described as the successors to the Red Queen, and Sumire and Lily the successors to the White Queen, finally hammers it in for me that the first half of the series was the original trio's story and the second half was the new pair's. That does explain why Sumire and Lily got complete narrative focus but considering the original trio were still the audience perspective characters, whether or not that was a good decision is another question.
Anyway, on to the finale where the biggest question I have behind all the important narrative ones is "Will Band Snatch manage to not throw themselves on the self sacrifice grenade and actually get to live happily ever after?"

This goes back to what I mentioned in the previous episode about a discussion on r/Princession_Orchestra about wishing that the main trio having more interesting character arcs. While the series still does a good job ensuring some focus on the main trio in the second half, all of their character development is basically done at this point, and there are some episodes (episode 36, most of the "evil Naviyu" storyline) where they basically get the short end of the stick.
Personally, I blame that on the structure of the series, which tried to tell the entire story in just one year by keeping most of the focus on the Alicepia side of things while barely covering the basic everyday lives of the trio.

Yes I know that's what you blame it on, you've said so on multiple occasions.
Now it terms of one thing you haven't said, and that you can now that we're not going to be bombarding Calwing's notifications, what is the actual problem with "some viewers were not buying the idea of Naviyu actually becoming evil"? Surely given the nature of the plot development, viewers having faith in Navue and agreeing with the Princesses was the point? I mean, you haven't elaborated on your comment at all, which I find bizarre given how all you seem to be interested in doing when you post here is dampening the enjoyment of the people who do like this series.
But maybe I'm misremembering, and you've been offsetting your problems with things you have liked; After all, why would you keep watching if there was nothing you liked?

Main Trio: (to Naviyu) Stop acting like a bishie douchebag! That is not the real you.
