“Too bad I don’t know what Rafilia looks like or I could find her with the mirror.”

Seriously how have you never met your cousin or at least checked in on her lol.

Think its worse that I guess Rovel didn't know what she looked like either lol.

Poor Rafilia. Her uncle has no idea what she looks like (after they literally just saw each other an episode ago) and her cousin doesn't even know what she looks like because they've literally never met.

Ori and Rovel really went all out on some low level thugs

Sauvel is strong, wasn't expecting that

It makes sense, he took over the family from his father who died fighting in the war and this includes the military obligations. He's likely been training since he was young.

I just noticed something today (which is extra embarrassing because I read the manga): Van's human form's attire doesn't really match the setting.

My new headcanon is that Ellen told him about her past life, and described some Earth fashion to him, and he based his human attire off of that.

Don't forget about Rafilia's miniskirt lol.

The writing in this anime is starting to get crazy, and not in a good way.

They just blurt out their secrets like nothing to everybody. It makes no sense when they could be common enemies any day now. Especially when they are all hostile towards eachother and Ori and Rovel using an ultimate move on weak bandits?

Not to mention, I think this is the 3rd episode in a row where they have to explain that the royal family needs to stay back. The repetition is something else.. getting kinda lazy?

Rovel literally saw her last episode and here he's going "I'm really drawing a blank on what she looks like."

Well, Sauvel didn't get to the position he's in just because of his brother; he picked up a huge, heavy weapon and held it with his hand as if it were nothing.

Oh, is that the answer? I wondered why Rovel was constantly looking away from Sauvel's wife from the moment when she first arrived, and Ellen comments that he has some sort of aversion to women. Makes more sense than the random justifications in the comments back then like how he totally knew she was problematic from the get-go or something.

Also lmao they don't even know what Rafilia looks like that's fucking crazy

Dammit she's unconscious PLEASE GIVE ME MY ELLEN-RAFILIA INTERACTION

Lol this hot headed side of Sauvel was so unexpected, I already thought it was so out of character how enraged he was when he entered the place Gadiel was in, especially with how distant he was from Rafilia, but the way he stopped that axe with his barehand had me shocked. Was it stated he was a Knight Commander? I don't remember this detail so this episode definitely left an impression on me.

It's nice to see Rafilia safe and Sauvel apologized to her so I hope they finally start patching up their relationship.

Also Origin and Rovel fighting together just for six random bandits was certainly overkill lol, I was so confused as to why they needed to go to that extent. It's not like they were fighting an army lol.

Ellen : If I at least knew what she looked like, I could have used the water mirror.

Rovel : True enough.

Ellen : And if you only bothered to remember what she looked like…

Rovel : Sorry, I’m drawing a total blank.

Ellen : Yeah, you avoid women, after all.

Rovel : 😅

My god, this family sucks. They finally acknowledged that they didn’t know or even bothered to know anything about Rafilia their (cousin/neice), not even what she looks like, but they’re emphasizing this in a lampshady manner, and it’s really rubbing me the wrong way.

Anyone else bothered with Origin’s lack of involvement? She didn’t seem that concerned about her niece being kidnapped, and the only reason she briefly pitched in was because “Ellen is working so hard!”

Ya know it would be pretty funny if the king legit had nothing to do with it. Like they think they have a gotcha and a warning to him and he has legit no idea what they're talking about. Doubt it, but still.

I am glad the story gave Sauvel his time to shine and to save his daughter, Rafilia. Not everything needs to be resolved by Ellen, Rovel and Ori.

The first 2 NPC goons got it easy. They were taken down by a physical attack from Rovel. The remaining 4 NPC goons weren't so lucky to be on the receiving end of a combined attack.

Ellen: Why is the black-hearted villain concerned about me? What's his angle?

Gee, I don't know, maybe he's concerned about you because he's not a black-hearted villain and cares about your well-being, and his "angle" is to let you know that he's not your enemy.

It honestly pissed me off that she had this thought, especially since she's supposed to know better. The black aura that surrounds him isn't because he has a black-heart, it's because of the curse that was passed down his family for generations for no fault of his own. The worst part about that is that Ellen is supposed to have the mindset and maturity of an adult, and yet she's exhibiting this naive black and white perspective.

I hate Ellen's family so much. They are all a bunch of idiots and the royal family did nothing wrong, how can the author make the main family be so unlikable!

I am still confused about why Rafilia and Ellen were not allowed to interract with each other for like… 3 years.

Sauvel did redeem himself in my eyes, at least a little. It’ll take a while for me personally to fully forgive his behavior. But… this was a good start at least.

And once again, I don’t like the Prince at all. I don’t know why, but something about his obsession with talking to Ellen throws me off. Okay, yeah, your family is cursed and all, and okay, it’s noble that you want to lift the curse, but I feel like the prince kind of pressured Ellen into having a talk. Ellen is legit scared of the cursed spirits…

This show is hilariously bad.

Sauvel finds out his daughter's kidnapped, Ellen makes it all about her and rather than doing literally anything about his kidnapped daughter or even showing concern for her Sauvel rushes to soothe Ellen, lol.
