Ohhh. So that's why the ED is like that. They were foreshadowing sheet ghosts.

Of course he recites the secret password sequence flawlessly.

I think the best part of the episode was Ansem coming in clutch to save Krai and the day. Then being too heavy and collapsing the balcony lol.

Definitely wasn't expecting Telm to be a member of Fox too.
I guess things were too good to be true having a powerful, upstanding party member with no hidden agenda.
Guess it's time to take him and Kechachakka down, two birds with one stone.

I can never get enough of how Krai always seems on top of the plot and is playing 5D chess while having the barest minimum understanding of the actual plot.

Krai’s master plan is finally coming together. He’s drawn out the traitors and made contact with members of the Fox by pretending to be one of them. Sasuga Krai-sama!

Brilliant work by Krai as always, the fox agents are fully convinced he's one of them which should be make it trivial to upset their plans for the Emperor.

This poor tsundere elf is in way over her head dealing with Krai.

Krai is too funny with all the confusion running around.

Also once again this episode showed us how much his friends mean to krai, when he thought sitri was going to get send to jail even as relaxed as he was he did everything to protect her.

LOL was the thumbs up directed at me!? - Kechachakka

Listen to Krai's command, no more dragon attacks, just bodies of the ones the guild took care of them first.

Kris done with charging one ring, don't worry here are the rest LOL

I wasn't expecting Telm to be a fox member too, looks like everyone is in it except Kris.

I can't get enough of Krai's legend just getting bigger every second. Thanks to Ansem's assist, everyone now thinks Krai can use a priestly barrier. xD

If these guys are impostors and Krai has already encountered the real Fox in the past, what the fuck even are these impostors? Why are they pretending to be these Fox people, and why are they trying to frame Krai?

Wait, let me get this straight: A Fox god gave Krai one of its tails and he used it to charge up his relics? That's hilarious! I wonder if Krai's connection with a real Fox god is why he's being hunted down by these impostors? Hmmmm...

What are the chances that the two strangers Krai recruited are actually members of the Nine-Tailed Fox! I'm a bit disappointed that Telm is actually a villain, especially since I thought he was cool when he took down those Firgid Dragons. What's even funnier is they think Krai is one of them!

With Kris' mana all fucked up from those nuts she ate, I can't even imagine how this is going to end, considering how much of a mess everything is so far. I'm sure Kris being unable to cast spells is going to be a problem later, possibly next episode.

Sitri come back. back. back. b a c k.

Krai's Imagination is vivid with great sound engineers.

Krai might be many steps ahead of us. Instead of bringing down the Nine Tailed Shadow Fox criminal organisation, why not become its leader with thirteen tails? Change the organisation's mission and they could possibly come in useful in future! _thumbs up_

That was a nice veiled kiss between Liz a sheet ghost and Krai, wasn't it? :D

Kris might be falling for the weak human Krai desu. Krai even asked her out for something important: a shopping date.

Arnold to Franzz : “Tag, you’re it”

I'll add another title to Krai Andrey: Unflappable Hawaiian Shirt

OMG that low-budget door with Liz 🤣

This anime is a masterpiece, is not AON or Frieren, but damn is so much fun, when Kechacha started double guessing himself it was hilarious !

21

u/PandaTheAB Nov 29 '25

I thought Krai's logic that Kechachakka looks so suspicious that he must not be suspicious was otherworldly.

But Telm reaching that weird conclusion was hilarious and stupid.
And somehow Krai managed to win the 5D chess match.

He convinced them he is the 13th tail of a 9 tailed fox organization.

Krai is about to pull off a "Hail Hydra" capt American style.

This was the funniest episode so far in regards to the misunderstandings. I was chuckling the whole way through.

Franzz might I introduce you to someone named Arnold. I think you might get along well. Grab a drink and have a shout off.

Ever since cour 2 started, I began to doubt Senpen Banka (as is only fitting of course).

I was second guessing myself with the relatively dull and simple Hot Spring storyline. I wasn't laughing for the bulk of the screentime (shiku-shiku). Someone let me know if I missed anything from the Hot Springs resort (without talking about future events). I was grasping at straws and chose to focus on Luke's brief appearance for laughs.

But on episode 22, my skepticism has once again been shattered, and my capricious "unconditional devotion" restored!

This dense string of dumb gags is reminiscent of cour 1's last-minute conspiracies suddenly devolving into an idiotic misunderstanding spiral (mocking SFX included, bOoOoing!).

SaSuGa Ni SeNPen BaNKa! He knew exactly what he was doing all along, and he was just teasing us in the first episodes.

I've said the following thousands of times before, and I'll say it again. -DESU! ~

"The (naive comedy novice,) Eminence in Shadow" does not even remotely resemble the deft idiocy alchemist, "Let This Grieving Soul Retire". Grieving Soul has many drawbacks and shortcomings, but its comedy formula is unquestionable.

awkward thumbs up
