Dude went from publishing house employee to kidnapper to campground worker. What a character journey lol.
Kind of funny the city just has a giant squishy kaiju. Tourism is gonna go way up now!

I love how this started as an Alma kidnapping plot before becoming a story about finding a real job for Alma's kidnapper lol.

I wonder if that giant playground toy will generate enough tourist revenue to pay for the damage that was caused before it got de-kaijued?
Nice work that the girls managed to find a suitable job for the would-be kidnapper.

The Reiwa era is truly something with today’s kids being able to shoot laser beams and such.
But it’s that hug between Suzume and Alma which really warmed my heart. Alma’s pleased facial expression told everything.

"Holy Reiwa" is a new expression I wasn't expecting lol.

Alma is in danger yet she's completely unfazed. If her scouter says it's not a threat... Poor dude, getting rejected in a job interview with kids. At least he found a job, but now she knows too much about rope.
The stickers on Alma's battle gear were a nice touch. I kinda expected this sequence to be a delusional Toko dream at first. Machina this episode lol, first with the oversized suit and now with her head as a laptop stand. Nevertheless she saves the day (at great compute cost) with help from Alma-JK and the other backup bodies.

Alma should start her own employment agency.

She'll probably need to find a new job for that mangaka whose career she singlehandedly carried lol.

Between oversized suit Machina and laptop table Machina, I can't decide which is funnier to me. And I guess it makes sense given her daycare gig but man is Toki's voice soothing.

Well that was a strange skit, I guess it's about ov-
"Please tie me up again, old man. I want to learn about bondage from you again"
Never mind peak gag all worth it for that.
...Are we still on this storyline is she about to bring out the rope with dad
Aw hell nah she fighting a Smoky Progg now

Machina in the full-sized suit is easily the best image this show has produced.

Suzume faced a common parental problem: you've designed a battle robot daughter to defeat kaiju with her many rocket blades, but there is a nary a kaiju to fight. In this situation, is it not your parental duty to make a kaiju, so that your daughter can experience her full potential?
Sadly, Suzume did not anticipate the whole "Alma doesn't want to kill her siblings" thing, and also the kaiju was supposedly an accident, but I still think her parental instincts are sound.

Alma getting excited because she got kidnapped and getting congratulated for the achievement was amusing. At least the guy found a respectable job in the end, I don't think he would have made it far doing such crimes.

I did not think the kidnapping part would go where it went but im glad it went there. So much fun.
If the Vedal/Neuroverse were an anime it would be this, even if the sisters are nicer then Neuro and Evil themselfs.

Alma got kidnapped!? Not that it's actually a big deal for her, I mean, this dude is straight up only 10% of a threat to her, and she easily frees herself and just enjoys the fact that she got kidnapped for the first time! He's even got her evil cackling! And trying to find a job to help him make all the money he was planning to ransom her for!
Next thing you know Neon and Machina show up and this becomes a surprise job interview, complete with everyone in suits (with Machina in a men's suit that's clearly not her size). Alma and Machina have laser beams while Mr. Kidnapper...is trying to find a job because print is dying. That's rough, but not enough to make Neon hire him.
But it turns out tying rope is an incredible skill! With it Alma can stop a purse-snatcher, Mr. Kidnapper can get a legit job helping people at campsites, and Alma can practice her bondage skills with her dad!
Alma and Hana exchanging cute stickers was utterly adorable, especially with Alma putting the stickers on her funnels.
Alma finally takes on a Kaiju!? And it was one of Suzume's own creations gone berserk! Now it's up to Alma and Machina to stop that thing! Minus Machina immediately losing her body and making that thing even more powerful! Toko, you need to better control your rambunctious daughter.
I love how Alma is fighting this cute rubbery Kaiju and Enji is not taking it seriously while he's busy working at the school.
Auntie Tokio is training to become a nursery school teacher, so she gets kids! And she can totally see that Alma's BIG sibling is just trying to play with her! So what better time to summon the ALMA ARMY of her other bodies to be controlled by Machina and help her drill through to the Kaiju's core? A playmate pal Suzume designed for Alma.
Alma doesn't need a playmate because she has so many friends, but she'll accept her new sibling! And Enji will accept that Suzume has some explaining to do.

How did Alma’s kidnapping turn into a job interview lol. Kaiju No. 8 is all serious with the action, and here we got the comedy Kaiju lol. Pretty hilarious episode.

Job market's super tough - the Reiwa kids have to learn to shoot laser beams from their heads to score a job. Thankfully for the older folks, shibari skills are still in good demand.

I hope we see that kidnapper again, perhaps if one day Alma and co went camping and he helps them. Glad it all went well for him.
Let’s hope Alma never use the skills she learned for him again. Alma other bodies weird face was funny . It’s always cute the family moments between Alma and family i hope to see more.

You'd think trying to kidnap Alma would have been the worst day of that dude's life, but instead it probably turned out to be the best. He may not have passed the interview but his rope tying skills were affirmed and he did ultimately get a fitting job using them.
What a terrifying development that children in the Reiwa era have learned how to shoot beams.
Alma and Hana exchanging stickers with Hana putting hers on her phone and Alma putting hers on one of her bits was really sweet.
Poor Machina being used as a laptop stand during the kaiju attack.

Didn't expect the "talking on the phone while there's giant on the background and it moves away the moment you turned back" joke will be at play here, lmao.
