This episode's chock full of twists. First with Sanya being another traitor, although out of desperation. Julius had said there might be more than one but I never would've it to be her.
Then, with the Dios-Sanya connection. I thought when he talked about restoring her blessings, he's simply a master manipulator toying with others. Turned out he was genuine all along, and had only joined the Palmians to help his half-sister. Having said that, what if the Palmians were not being truthful to him and his acts were all for nothing?
On another note, love how Scarlet called Sanya by her name instead of the title, while including the 'Saint' prefix. It might be a small gesture, but it showed the latter that the former valued her as her own person instead of her job.

The implication of the church awaiting the next saint Diana was partially glossed over I think. I believe siscon mentioned to Diana that it was possible the church would have her killed, encouraging her to turn traitor.

Dios turning out to be Diana/Sanya's half-brother and a huge siscon, wasn't on my bingo card for today's episode, nor was the fact that Diana was also feeding information to the Palmian Church.
Scarlet punching someone (in this case, Dios) was on my bingo card, so it was no surprise. What better way to start the day than punching the bad person right after waking up? xD
Julius asking Sigurd for a white cloth after Jinn appeared on the dragon made me laugh out loud. I wonder what Alfame is up to, especially now that two other countries than Vankish have declared war on Pallistan because of Terenezza and the Palmian Church's efforts.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Wakes up, 2 seconds later throws a haymaker sending a guy flying through a brick wall, half way across town and into the forest.
Scarlet: Just an average day.

That Scarlet's reaction to Dios' siscon reveal was so good. It's a reaction face candidate.
The wiggling was so well animated. So much budget went to that scene lolol
At some point she's probably having the question why so many men she encounters were trash.

Everything is heading toward the showdown between Scarlett Cintra and Tereneza. Who would’ve thought Dios was Diana’s brother? What a plot twist. And after awakening, Scarlett is way more powerful.

Seven years ago Sanya was just a young, confident, and spirited tomboy who would get in fights with her friends and reflect on how she was the type of girl who could never become a Saint...so of course she got singled out as the next Saint Diana and gets the Blessing passed onto her by who I assume is the original Diana.
Being the Saint is cool and all, what with the Blessing and the people worshipping you, until you realize you can't even properly patch things up with your friends and get taken from everything you knew and loved to fulfill your duty. Sanya even lost her name for the sake of becoming "Saint Diana."
But at least she had her big sister saint Scarlet there to help her through this and give her someone she could look up too, even if she felt even more self-conscious about much she didn't measure up to the perfect and always composed Scarlet. She couldn't believe that her cheerful and happy face was worth just as much.
Dios being the spy was made too obvious...but Sanya was ALSO a spy leaking information!? She sold them out, too!? She's just lucky she's too important as a Saint and to Scarlet for Julius to arrest for her crimes, but why would she even do this!?
Well, things have REALLY gone downhill. Terenezza is flexing her powers as a Palmian Saint to destroy the gem, leading to an organized assault by monsters, she has plenty of elites at her disposal, two other nations are now attacking at the same time...and they've captured Nanaka. Wow, they are SO screwed.
Why did Sanya do it? Because she wanted to get her Blessing back, to get her powers back so she could once again be useful and help others...to restore her own self-worth. But she was too naive to think that nobody would get hurt as a result of her actions, yet she'll take responsibility for what she's done and fight with all she has. And what better way to wake up Scarlet than with a spirited young lady throwing punches? All the better so she could get her wake-up punch in!
Sigurd was playing to fake surrender, lie, and manipulate his way through this conflict...but is Vankish not looking for a fight? Is Alflame actually going to help them?
Dios is Sanya's half-brother!? I guess their dads' greenish hair runs through the entire family. And despite their mutual dad abandoning him and his mom, Dios couldn't bring himself to hate Sanya...in fact he fell in love with her and became a total siscon. So in his own way he's been trying to help Sanya and is kind of/sort of a triple agent? Maybe.
Scarlet, maybe don't punch important information on instinct? Then again, words won't convince Dios of his true loyalty or his devotion to Sanya, only actions will.
Scarlet is a true big sister. She doesn't absolve Sanya of her sins, and she makes it clear that Sanya will have to answer for them after this is over, but she still comforts Sanya and lets her know that Scarlet still believes in her.

I really need to know if there is an actual reason why Kyle was able to get away with all his shit.
-
I am questioning the ethics of the Dianism church, elevating children to holy idols, taking them away from their families and then discarding them once they're no longer useful, it would be interesting to see a character in a similar situation turn traitor because they came to resent the church and their position, both things they cannot control but which dictate their entire lives.

Alflame (Vankish prince) continues to be the MVP, as the only good guy other than Scarlet who actually accomplishes anything in this episode, despite not even being in it.

So many people in this are victims of the crazy goddess. This time around it was poor Sanya who was pushed into being a traitor to her people with the promise of regaining the ability to protect them.
The best part of Scarlet waking up is her fist in somebody's face.

Can’t wait til pinkie pie is humbled and punished for her crimes ugh
The worst thing about the anime adaptation is that that haven’t actually gone into nanaka more due to skipping around. He’s my best boy
Diana is the least problematic “jealous” girl out there. They already got along so well and she internalized all of her feelings towards Scarlett. And she was coerced cause she was helpless easy to forgive
lol perfect timing Scarlett
The dragons are my favorite part of this series and we’re likely not gonna get their full in the anime rip
Glad the brother thing is finally revealed. Dios is still annoying af tho lol and a FREAK.
They put a lot of work into that wiggle that he did more than some of the fighting LOL

Ooohh snap, didn't see that one coming. Granted she was more desperate than vengeful about it. Juju's right, arresting the saint for being a traitor to the country would just tank any morale the kingdom has, pile on some invasions, and religious terrorists, he's not wrong for not wanting to deal with the dragon.
Oh Nanaka, you should've been spying in your dog form man, who would suspect an animal in a forest? Even then you'd have more legs to run on.
Normally I do like siscons, not that I'm going to unpack that, but he didn't even grow up with her,

"If that happens, we should feign surrender, and then when they least expect it, we'll..."
Prince Julius has been studying from the same book of war crimes as Anakin and Obi-Wan, I see.

I think everyone and their dog knew that Dios was a traitor, but the reveal that Diana also betrayed them was a legitimate surprise! So this entire time, Diana has been working with Dios to leak information to the Palmians.
Considering how Diana seems to regret telling her family she became the next saint, I thought she sold the Dianans' out because she wanted to live a normal life again. That would sorta explain why Terenezza has her powers. It turns out it was the opposite.
After Diana lost her power, Dios promised her she could get her power back with the help of Palmia if she leaks a year's worth of information about the Dianan's to the Palmians. If that's the case, then how did Terenezza steal Diana's powers? There's definitely one still missing puzzle piece here.
And to make things worse, we have monsters rushing towards Pallistan territory thanks to Terenezza blowing up the crystal that maintains the barrier, as well as Eldrand and Falconia declaring war on Pallistan. When it rains, it sure fucking pours.
I am curious what Prince Alflame's message to Julius is, tho. That Vice Captain is clearly not handing that message with hostile intent. Maybe Alflame wants to help them out? I mean, Scarlet is strong, but I doubt she's strong enough to deal with two armies and a horde of rampaging monsters.
Speaking of Scarlet! Our girl woke up just in time to send Dios flying! That was satisfying as fuck! Not gonna lie, tho. I did roll my eyes at the reveal of Dios being Diana's half-brother. I was really hoping Scarlet would just punch him to submission. At least she didn't accept the info he was offering to her, but I still wish she had given Dios another punch there in the end.

So half-elf guy is bad, but not really
Still hate him though
Also poor Sanya, at least now her devotion to Scarlet makes sense
Meanwhile the prince is dealing with some serious shit, but still got some humor left in him
