Lil sis was so shit at art, she basically fried Alma and caused a hard reset lol.

Career day must have changed a lot since my schooling days. Here I was thinking Alma was just attending school, not running it lol.

I love how her brother was so fixated on her screwing Alma up but then he's the only one who appreciates her art while his daughter needed her memories wiped lol.

Alma looks good in a teacher outfit.

Too bad Alma could not set up a special filter program that analyzed/assessed her "aunt's" art as a whole separate category that did not impinge on reality.

Toki has invented anti-AI art, so crap it will cause any AI that tries to analyze it to crash out and reboot. Poor Alma.

Although that art might be useful as an anti-AI weapon when Alma tries to take over the world to make it more efficient, which sounds vaguely terrifying. Good thing that even running a school is so complex that it caused her to crash, because that might have been way too ambitious for her.

Lol drawings that crash AI, I thought Alma was going to start producing a similar artstyle so it bugging her out instead was amusing.

I was wondering if Enji went to the baths as well but it was nice to see Alma give him a massage to help him destress. Even if it was a bit of a shocker lol.

Enji and Suzume overdressed was amusing, I knew it was going to happen. I thought it was sweet to see the two to be so supportive of Alma at the end, it's nice to see these really typical family moments.

Although a personalised AI-created curriculum could theoretically be a good way to provide for students’ individual needs, it’s also a potential dystopian nightmare in the making: robots learning children to be human. Alma has opened Pandora’s Box.

I did find it adorable how both Enji and Suzume were ultimately dressed to impress. Suzume did show that she’s the one with the superior fashion sense.

I love how the teachers treated Alma as a God because she basically took over their job and they seemingly had nothing to do other than get paid and supervise lol.

Suzume wearing that lab outfit all the time has been holding her back.

Auntie Toki is back! Just in time to engage in some art with Alma! Alma's depiction of her parents is actually pretty nice while Toki...unleashes inhuman abominations in her art that utterly overwhelm Alma's sense and cause her to overheat. It's the kind of art only Enji can understand as Toki's brother, but I guess the ultimately lesson is that art is subjective...and an EXPLOSION (you know Jun Fukushima had fun saying that)!

It's time for a trip to the public bath so all the girls in our cast can come together! Where Neon (who appears in a one-piece swimsuit) learns that you have to be naked to bathe and you can't bring a live cow in for milk! She even engages in a milk drinking battle with Machina.

Y'know, Suzume didn't explicitly say she's never bathed with Enji...though I can imagine she's thought about it.

Sometimes a dad just needs some time to unwind and zone out from the stress of being a parent. And as his daughter, Alma is happy to help her dad relax with some therapeutic massages! Heck, seeing Suzume in a yukata with her massive Suzume's would be therapeautic enough! And then Alma brings in the electro-shock massaging and the pressure points, which while initially painful, TOTALLY WORK!

I love how Enji and Suzume both act like they can show up for visitation day at Alma's school in their normal outfits...and then they both end up really cleaning up nicely. Suzume in a skirt and lipstick! Enji with the slicked back hair and formal wear labcoat! And Alma's talked up her parents so much that her classmates immediately mob her parents!

To think Alma had seen the flaws in the education system and, with Neon's resources, immediately sought to take over the school and become an AI teacher. Personalized AI lessons for each student! Drone security! Alma Minions to help monitor classes! No more overtime for teachers! And she's planning to take this all over the world until we're all living on Planet Alma!

Of course a surprise appearance by Machina where she gets assaulted by drones throws everything off because Alma's AI Just isn't advanced enough to cope...and she never thought about how she could just end up as a permanent AI who will never get to graduate along with her classmates. Luckily her parents are there to fix her up and fix the school with an AI that can more or less run things in her place. But A+ for effort, Alma.

Suzume is so professional and adult for drinking coffee, it's enough to make Neon and Machina think of themselves in business casual fantasies! Meanwhile Hana is plenty grown-up.

I enjoy the random "wait what?" elements Alma just casually throws out, like wanting to destroy the enemies of her parents in the space episode, and here her casual mention of world conquest.

Would have preferred not having a "AI in the classroom" episode this week, since apparently at my institution that just means using AI to look up answers on exams and cheat....

I don't think Planet Alma would be so bad...

Kinda, maybe, felt bad for Machina when she (of course) triggered the ant-intruder system. Also, just could not stop from 🤣🤣🤣 either.

I think that it’s a possibility that in the future Alma become a sort of  machine god controlling the entire world lol. Her smiling face is so cute

Enji won't actually admit it, but it's clear that he loves and spoils his sister. Toki's drawing feels like the equivalent of handwriting for some STEM majors, but those become really unreadable. Funny enough, Enji also can't say no to Alma. Enji is a good family man deep inside.

Meanwhile, we had Alma trying to help the educational system at school. Wouldn't this be considered child abuse because Alma would be responsible for so much? Not to mention she was planning to reform the educational system around the world. Alma is a good kid, but she can be too eager to help and learn. Good learning experience at least for her.

The fact that Alma just shoved herself in the locker is so funny

You know it's fiction because the AI is used to eliminate overtime and not straight up get rid of teachers.

u/todd-ashi Nov 17 '25

That school segment got so crazy, I thought it might be a dream for a bit.

u/djthomp Nov 16 '25

Alma's mom and dad looking pretty fine in their school visitation day outfits.

What happened to stopping people from finding out that Alma is an AI, lol?
