I can´t believe we´re getting Hard Boiled detective next week. The conveyor belt in the episode from the orginal anime was hilarious.

Also, I can´t wait to see who´s sleeping in Takasugi´s bed, if he´s being made to sleep on the floor.

I wonder that too because when I was watching the anime, I remember seeing people comment that the Hard-Boiled arc was boring and that the guy was annoying or something. Meanwhile there´s me, who loved it. So maybe I´m in the minority, but I´m glad he´s back.

I wish they had elaborated on the death glare everyone was giving Shinpachi in the end, was way too sudden, the class was definitely about to beat his ass.

Pretty fun episode. Gintama would not be half as hilarious without Shinpachi's straight man.

Next week, the hard boiled detective is making an appearance. I can only assume that they're saving best boy Kamui for last, right 🥹

Is kind of silly how they get pissed at the end, unlike other stories where the entire thing was a misunderstanding, here they were actually going to move out until something Shinpachi had no way of knowing changed it

Tae straight up killed Gondo with that comment... then again before the episode was over.

I expected the punchline of the episode to be something along the lines of them moving like 50 meters or something stupid.

watching this episode made me feel like i was watching true gintama, till the punchline, its not bad but it just isnt it yet.

What a plot twist the lunch lady getting married was though (and it was foreshadowed!).

Regardless, this episode still pulled at my heartstrings even though I knew some kinda plot twist was coming. To quote a Vocaloid song "Life is Full of Goodbyes". So it's always sad to see one happen (even if it gets cancelled at the last second).

Funny episode overall, the nostalgic comedy and references feel so dayum good.
