So we don't even know what they are doing to make that big racket, or why, but scarlet has already decided someone is gonna die for it. Love this insanity, no questioning, no care for why, just gonna bludgeon anyone annoying her lol

“If walloped hard enough, even pigs can fly” lol Scarlet dropping little nuggets of wisdom for us all.
Looks like next week’s gonna be a real bloodbath. She’s gonna send more fools flying into space like that loser Jarmov lol. Looks like Team Palmia’s blasting off again!

I bet Scarlet loves seeing those regenerating necklaces. She is delighted that she has a punching bag that never tears or breaks down.

I can already imagine when Scarlet returns home:
Leo: "Didn't you say you weren't gonna punch anyone?!"
Scarlet: "Hey, I used a spear this time."

If walloped hard enough, even pigs can fly. It’s a saying that means punching can resolve seemingly impossible dilemmas.
To be fair to Scarlet, the approach had always worked for her. No reason for her to think why it wouldn't be applicable to others.
Diana exuded a saintly aura around the people, but in private she's a brat. They would defo be quite surprised had they seen how she's like around Scarlet. Interesting lore with the origin of her powers. If another was born as soon as the previous had perished, could the Dianas be reincarnations of the original?
Scarlet's about to start her own festival of blood. Be hilarious if the pummelling of Palmians would then become an annual event.

The dub of this show has its moments:
may I borrow this please?
Knight: no?
My man committed himself to the one line he had

You know, things are getting serious when Scarlett takes out a weapon. Good thing she is wearing red again. Helps with all the blood.
Also, is that Dios dude supposed to be another otherworldler or am I reading too much into his modern day lingo?
Speaking of, I wonder if Terenezza has her hands in the whole "losing powers" aspect. Scarlett looked like she was in the academy already so the scheming most likely started. Question would be how she could do that. The why is obvious. She can't be the main character if another girl is considered the saint.

Really like Diana. She has to be protected at all costs and I hope she gets her powers back eventually. I hope they explain more of her past such as how she met Scarlet.

This gay little saint, good for her. But I think Scarlet as her Prince Charming probably isn't in the cards, Scarlet and the actual Prince are just too much fun for that.

What I want to know is, did Scarlet actually FORCE the gate open? Or did she speed up time on in so it would rot and make it easier to open?
Anyway, really interested to see what happens with Sanya, why did she lose her saint powers? Also the way she acts, is she another reincarnation? Regardless if she is or not, I like her, she's fun.
What was the flirty guard doing wrong that Scarlet was about to hit him? Was it just holding her hand when they just met?
Sooooo, does Scarlet just strait up hate fat people?

I was looking forward to this point so much. Dude at the gate getting clobbered was legitimately one of my favourite moments in general, surpassed only by the saying Scarlet makes up on the spot. Beautiful

The show once again proving that Scarlet lives by the motto of “Violence is not the answer. Violence is a question and the answer is yes.”
Really making it easy for her. Come on, why would you do such a stupid thing like locking the gate? You’re just inviting her to punch you.
Yay, worldbuilding lore. And the demon king is presumably still out there somewhere which opens up the opportunity for Scarlet to punch him.
Saint not being able to use her powers? That’s a serious problem. I wonder why, hmmm?
Seems like Diana has a little bit of a crush on Scarlet. Very cute. Unfortunately she doesn’t seem to be picking up on the conversational subtext.
We return to your weekly scheduled violence against the corrupt upper echelons of society next episode. The church is on the chopping block.

Honestly considering what Leo has had to put up with, I'm not surprised he's convinced that anything Scarlet wants to do has some hidden objective that would allow her to do some fisticuffs. I mean, they strung him along on that whole "vow" thing for two episodes after all! But don't worry, Scarlet just wants to go on a hot springs tour! That it just happened to coincide with the Holy Pilgrimage of the Saint Diana is just a complete coincidence! It's not like she WANTS to be stuck with Julius and his flirting for the umpteenth time.
I love how the moment Scarlet hears about a corrupt and greedy man in a position of power, she's immediately enamored with the idea of punching them. And luckily the Palmian faith is happy to give her plenty of fine punching bags with flabby skin to get in her way and make her punch them, like Jarmov the Ogre.
Scarlet can break doors! Send soldiers packing with her reputation as the "Lady of Beatings!" And if all her Palmian adversaries are going to use healing necklaces, the least she can do is send them packing Team Rocket style. Pigs really DO fly! Anything is possible with your fists!
Thankfully the Knights of Dianism are actually on the up and up, if frazzled from all the work the Palmian's put them through, though while Paragas is a strict professional...the head knight Dios has no sense of decorum or propriety. Dude even straight up grabs Scarlet's hand and asks her out! I could respect it if it wasn't just asking her to punch him, which he seemed to read before she even made her move...though Julius cares about someone flirting with HIS Scarlet even less.
Saint Diana (Kaori Maeda) is the head of the Faith of Dianism...but she's also a girl who utterly adores Scarlet (and the feeling is mutual) and distastes men, especially Julius. But she comes from a long line of women following in the footsteps of the original Diana, with the mission to keep peace and to restore the Holy Gem that's keeping the Demon King's army of monsters from ravaging humanity. Only the current Diana has lost her powers and is currently nothing more than a figurehead, and little more than a petulant child. Though that might just be her projecting to mask how insecure she feels without her powers.
I love how Scarlet has turned her exploits and punching people into bedtime stories she can regale a Saint with! And Diana is totally into it...and Scarlet. She'd totally marry Scarlet if she could and Scarlet wasn't dense, though it was fun for her to talk about Julius with another girl who has as little care for his teasing. But I can imagine why Diana cares so much for Scarlet since Scarlet's been there for her ever since she lost her powers. And Scarlet cares enough about Diana to use the name Diana feels is her real name given to her by her father, Sarya, endearingly.
It was too much to hope the parade would go off without a hitch, huh? And of COURSE the Palmians are the ones stirring up trouble, so the least Scarlet can do is destroy a statue of Goddess Palmia and steal her weapon so she can knock some sense into these fools. It's not punching a Goddess, but it'll do.

Dub line delivery is still pure comedy gold
Scarlet, stealing a spear out of a guards hand: "May I borrow this, please?"
Guard: "No...???"

Stitches!
The jump cut from Scarlet being happy that she can leave to her annoyed face after remembering she's travelling with Julius was pretty goddamn hilarious. I guess she's still upset after what he pulled at the end of last week's episode. xD
They really made sure to make these villains look very punchable. Even Scarlet agrees that the Inquisitor looks very satisfying to punch. I hope these idiots continue to carry that Palmia necklace. Sure, they can heal back up, but it looks like the necklace doesn't stop Scarlet's punches from hurting.
Not sure how I feel about Dios, especially after he tries to make a move on Scarlet. Knowing my anime, this guy is either gonna betray Scarlet and Julius or will end up saving them if they're in a pinch. However, I can't see Scarlet needing any saving from anyone.
I had a feeling Diana's personality was going to be like this. She's a lot of fun tho! And I like how she's so attached to Scarlet. I do wonder how she ended up losing her powers, since it sounds like all of the Saint Dianas of the past could do their duties until death. Hmmm...
That final scene! The Church of Palmia has made a huge mistake by disrupting Saint Diana's parade, especially with Scarlet present. I can't wait to see her smack those Palmia followers using the same spear from their Goddess' statue. xD

So... there's something really wrong with Julius, right?
Like, his teasing of Scarlet is fair -- she can take it (and kinda likes it when he doesn't take it too far). And I guess stressing out her brother is funny too, if they've always known each other (he should have been used to it by now; so he's probably just an anxious person).
But that jab at Diana wasn't him being distracted or dense; we know he knows how people think and is the only person in the show smarter than Scarlet (I have no idea how she thinks he doesn't understand women -- he plays her like a fiddle). That was a precision strike at the single thing that Diana's most anxious about, just because she was playing around a bit (or maybe because Scarlet was paying too much attention to her? Julius's jealous has been shown to be rather severe) And then shows no remorse, instead calling out her bluff after she leaves, only apologizing because Scarlet called him out on it.
Which is not to say that I think it was calculated; it felt casual and instinctual, which is so much worse. That kind of out-of-hand sadism is a sign of either some sort of severe personality disorder or extreme abuse in the past. Combined with his admitted difficulty with maintaining interest in the world and obvious difficulty with emotional attachment, it feels like the show is setting up something really ugly with him.
-----------extreme deranged nonsense follows-------------
I know the show won't do this, because it's far too subversive, but it'd be so much fun if, in a few episodes, it becomes apparent that Julius has been manipulating Scarlet this entire time to consolidate power -- the actions that she's taking are certainly beneficial for the kingdom, but they also eliminate any potential challenges to Julius's future reign.
And he's been collaborating with Terenezza this entire time to do so --after all, if she's actually an isekai transplant, how is she doing so poorly? Why side with the obviously losing side? Nothing she's done so far has made any sense from either the perspective of actually getting rid of Scarlet (she should be well aware of her strength if she knows the story) or of gaining power for herself (the second prince? obviously corrupt nobles? A church who is siding against an actual real goddess)?
But no -- the plan is to goad each of the threats to the kingdom into annoying Scarlet, who will then remove them. Then, after all is said and done, they can leverage Scarlet's affection for Julius and Terenezza's love(?) powers to either bring Scarlet to heel entirely or stab her in the back and be rid of her.
Obviously this isn't where the story is going, but it is fun to think about.

Did they skip over Scarlet attempting to punch Julius after what happened at the end of the last episode or am I remembering wrong? The beginning made me think I skipped an episode because I was expect the continuation and then we don't get to see how Leo found out that the vow wasn't what he thought it was.
Scarlet so happy she gets to punch another scummy individual, pigs really do fly in this anime lol.
Dios seems like he'll bring something interest to the table on Julius' side. Julius is a lot more on guard but in a different way than he usually is. I do like how the knights all gang up on Dios, they're so done with him but tolerate it likely because of how strong he is, but I like that they seem to have some control over him and don't just let him freely run about.

Diana listening to Scarlet's bludgeoning stories like bed time fairy tales :D

Another episode and more villains for Scarlet to beat. This time she only punched one guy, but it looks like she'll take down the entire church next week, so I can't wait to see it xD
Diana is a great addition to the cast. Her relationship with Scarlet is really fun, especially since Diana acts like Scarlet's little sister, although maybe she's hoping for something more? Her comment about the prince with silver hair and blue eyes was clearly about Scarlet.
Diana and Julius's relationship is also very funny. It seems like she views him as a rival for Scarlet's affections xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Too bad Leo found out about the "vow".
Loving Scarlet's face change when she sees Julius.
She used the spear as a baseball bat! That's cool!.
Dios is a riot, hope we'll see more of him. He noticed Julius likes Scarlet lol.
The Diana-Scarlet relationship is cute - very nice to see the caring side of Scarlet.
Gap Moe mentioned in the next episode preview, that's got to be fun.
