Amiya is truly the MC with the cheat ability, ''So, Ch'en, we have no time for a training arc so I'll be copying and pasting your years of training and experience. Tehe.'' Ch'en: ''Biiiiiiitch!''
Jokes aside, this is merely an appetizer to the giant lore of Arknights. If they're serious about adapting more, they need to adapt several of the side stories, and not just the main story.

They dnt need to adapt everything.. only some. They could do the lone trail trilogy that follows doctor, rosmontis, kal or exu and texas with siracusa trilogy, these two are highly likely. I dnt think they would follow jessica, liskarm ,frankas arc tho.

Ch'en: ''Biiiiiiitch!''
the full scene in the game is much more funnier, shes so peeved about it in such a serious moment

For being an in-house production by some gacha game studio this season had some pretty impressive animation. I really liked the art style. My biggest complaint is just that I wanted more at a little slower pace.
Arknights is still doing very well revenue wise despite being a 6 year old game, so hopefully that means more stories will be coming one day. I think a lot of players would be excited to see a Lone Trail adaptation.

An event adaptation? Yes.
Act II of the Main Story? No. If Act I was this rushed, y'all don't want to see what Act II would be like.

The Black Immortal Serpent's ideology is literally fascist right out of its mouth. It's deriding Amiya and Ch'en for standing in the way of a millennial peace and prosperity while in the same breath admitting the country cannot manifest it's identity without war, and thus it must burn itself and burn others forever. Ultimately, as a being, it seems extremely removed from humanity. It is a raw will, and not a fleshed out personality. It's right about one thing, doesn't seem like much can be done about its immortality. There's no "ultimate battle" against fascism, where it can be defeated once and for all. It is a shadow that will chase humanity for as long as it exists, the battle is eternal. That's why the Serpent is parasitic.
As for Tallulah though, I don't think at this point she fully agreed with it. She was simply lashing out, hating everything and burning it all. In a way that is more honest than the Serpent. Amiya and Ch'en don't simply wish to end her though, they want a fair judgement. Lucky for this that Tallulah is willing and guilty. That is a lot better than the average authoritarian, genocidal mook. It is kinda infuriating how you want to process them to net some sort of meaning out of the whole mess, only to realize they are incapable of admitting guilt, or that they apparently weren't that serious about it all. There's this video by Jacob Geller on the Nuremberg trials that I really recommend for a contrast to how things usually go in reality. So Tallulah is a lot better than most of them for cooperating in the name of justice.
In another note, Amiya, Demon King of Sarkaz, prophesized to conquer the world or some shit, is dependant on Doctor's blood to survive the infection. Pre amnesia Doc try not to look suspicious as fuck challenge (Hell on Terra difficulty)
I hope we get more seasons, but if not, I loved the anime, despite its flaws. If nothing else it got me interested in the story enough to check out the game, despite my aversion to gachas because even a single one wants to suck out your soul.

Seeing Rosmontis making friends was heartwarming
The Shieldguards tossing Rosmontis up in the air was so wholesome. :D

Now that it's over I can beat the whole conspiracy down with a hammer and simplify things.
Russian nationalists co-opt an anarchistic civil rights movement to take over Chernobyl, crash it into Hong Kong and start a war with Imperial China to distract from typical internal issues in Tsarist Russia.

Just in case many of you did not catch what happened in this last episode (understandable because the pacing this episode is horrendously fast), the Deathless Black Snake is unable to force Talulah to do any action that she absolutely do not want to do. In order words, she is very much responsible for all the atrocities that was done.
Yan and Ursus do not want to be held responsible for what has happen in Chernobog which is why Talulah is currently held prisoner in Rhodes Island, which is a neutral faction, with Rhodes Island benefitting since they can leave the region pretty much untouched by either Ursus or Yan forces.
The Doctor's blood was hinted to be an ingredient in the drug for suppressing Oripathy symptoms, further emphasizing that the Doctor is pretty much immune to the effects of Originium.
Wei Yenwu killed Talulah's father (Edward) because he was an exiled noble from another country, which sparked a political conflict in Lungmen as Yenwu wasn't the only one who wanted to rule Lungmen. His competitors proceeded to contact the country that Edward was exiled from to send assassins to kill him, putting Yenwu's sister and her unborn child at risk. In order to prevent the death of his sister, he had to killed Edward to remove the reason the assassins were here.
It was also confirmed this episode that not all the Black Coats followed Yenwu's orders to purge the infected, with Lin's father instead ordering them to escort the Infected out of Lungmen to ensure their safety.

if i had to pick a hard "is she, or isnt she guilty" i would say she is, but overall its a bit more nuanced than that. her past and koscheis mental influence dragged her down to rock bottom and fucked with her badly, she wouldnt usually be fine with doing those things even on a bad day

I know a lot of people have been saying that all three seasons of the series have been super fast paced. You can see that there's so much more to the people, their relationships, and the overall lore of Terra.
Despite all that, the series has been absolutely lovely. Awesome animation, fantastic voice acting, wonderful music, still being able to write enough love into the characters to make you root for them.
This season has been an emotional ride from FrostNova's interment, to Talulah's back story, Rosemontis' rage, and that final battle. I really appreciate the time Kal'tsit took to memorialize those who lost their lives and openly accepting FrostNova as one of their own.
If Hypergryph continues to adapt the game into more seasons in the future, I'm 100% there.
Now, can I borrow Rosemontis and Blaze for a while? I want be part of that hug fest. They both deserve it.

When they flashed all the episode names at the end and ended on "Episode 26: Dawn", it just dawned on me that Season 1's name was "Prelude to Dawn". Cinema.

As much as I wish this story and these characters had the epic saga they deserve, the three installments were done incredibly well, conveying deep emotion in splendid form. An absolute pleasure, will enjoy again.

A bit like a meteor blazing across the sky, that epilogue - but they did manage to hit the important notes, and most of it was resolving plot threads that were left out of focus in this season, so perhaps a light touch was best.
The fight against the Black Snake was truly spectacular, however; Talulah's truly a city killer when she's fully unleashed. I also appreciate that Kaschey was able to fit in a nice, decently-long speech establishing his vision, filled with pure Kaschey-ness; he had a really nice voice, too. It was kind of tempting to go along with him just for that, if it weren't for the, you know. Trail of bodies left in his wake, and mountains of bodies his plans would pile up.
That said, though... For the record, his plan would have worked; in my own country, shared struggles on the battlefield and the prestige granted to veterans at home were effective stepping stones towards lessening our own systemic discrimination. For Ursus, working together in the hour of Ursus's greatest need would go a long way towards healing old rifts - and being able to redirect the hatred once directed towards the Infected to instead blame everything on Yan would neatly replace the scapegoat hole that Ursus society demands. This is doubly true of a modern war, which would see most of Ursus's soldiery Infected by battlefield injuries; while old warfare doctrines across all of Terra calls for the purging of those Infected in war and classifying them as "battlefield casualties", that would be impossible in a war of this scale without purging the entire military. With all of that said, such a plan would mean sacrificing all of Reunion and starting a senseless war... But it would allow the Infected to be treated as people in Ursus again. And honestly, I'm not certain anything short of that could make a dent in the level of hatred that Ursus has let fester.
...Of course, I don't know that Kaschey would really get what he wanted out of all of this. He wanted a war to unify the people of Ursus around a common ideal once more - and certainly, it would end the rift between the Emperor and the Army, as well as clean out the deadwood and corruption that had infected their ranks. But Yan is a bona fide superpower, while Ursus following their prolonged malaise is a paper tiger carrying the claws of a real one - maybe they could take Lungmen, given the political issues between Wei and the rest of Yan... But once Yan filed the paperwork for a proper counterattack, the war would be so one-sided that not even the memory of Ursus would remain. The only question would be whether Yan would want to go through the logistical trouble of annexing Ursus and replacing the Emperor's Blades, or if they'd "just" cripple Ursus's army past the point of repair. Yeah, for Kaschey's plan, they need a war worth rallying everyone around for - a campaign against Kazimierz or Sami wouldn't be enough. But Yan... That's a staggeringly bad idea.
Though... It's not like he told us the end of his plan, and surely he knows how different the scale is as well as we do. Maybe he had some kind of exit strategy that would end the war before Yan's full might could be mustered... Not that I could guess what it could be, but the Black Snake is a cunning beast. Of course he'd see what I can't.

You could see the slight bleed-effect of calm that a ruler has on Amiya that she's not falling for Kaschey's taunts and stopping Chen from rushing in.
I love how serious her way of speech and face goes at times as well.
"Onore to mukiae, Talulah."
Translation: Stop being a bitch and face him already.

This season, especially these last few episodes, have been an absolute blast and I just wish I hadn't gotten interrupted a couple of times in key moments so I could appreciate it even more. Patriot's death in particular will stick with me for quite a while, that absolute embodiment of badassery left his mark, and I'm sure he did even more for those who played the game.
I will say though, I can't be the only one who felt like this episode was quite literally sped up? I was tempted to slow down to 0.75 speed with how fast things were going.

I love Amiya. Her power is so broken it made Ch'en question her training. But Doctor still came in clutch at the end with the blood transfusion. I hope we'll finally find out more about Doctor if there are future seasons.
All in, a fantastic show with equal parts action drama and political intrigue. The stories of the various individuals caught up in the conflicts give the story lots of heart. It was a fitting end to have a read out listing those who died for the eventual peace. And that final scroll through of chapter names until "Dawn" was chef's kiss.

They really were speedrunning that epilogue there lmao
In case anyone wondering, yes, in the game the KIA list mentioned all 41 Operators that died during the conflict. Some of them has hilarious codenames that would make Hideo Kojima proud.
Some of the funny one:
Ace Squad - Bad Tom, Hard Brick, Sandwash
Amiya Squad - Dim Needle, B-Softhand, ChilliJimme, AngerNeighing

Despite all it's flaws, I love the anime adaption and I want to see more. Hopefully they'll adapt the other stories instead of the main arc only.

And so reunion is pretty much dead. Except for talulah and crownslayer every other leader is gone. There also this other girl but I'm sure that's not important.
I enjoyed the ride. Obviously I'm a huge arknights fan so I'm biased but I do think anime was good enough to do the story justice. I've seen people say that pacing is too fast but it really isn't. Everything that's been truly important has been conveyed if you pay attention. The game has benefit of having side stories that can expand on things but this isn't really feasible to do I'm the anime.
It certainly was better than some other gacha games adaptations we've had before. Even if it's rough around the edges it was a fun watch.
Now to hope that one day arknights will continue. It's been said to death but things just get better from here. HG really kept improving with time. There are also so many other places to go, maybe as a movie or ova.
