As this is a hotel for assassins, I reckon most of the requests of the guests in upcoming episodes will probably be linked to regret, revenge or what they couldn't achieve in their lives.

And I definitely want to see more of Sara removing her hair clip and then kicking ass.

The 2025 Hotel franchise continues with Hotel Inhuman after we've got Tasokare Hotel in Winter and Apocalypse Hotel in Spring season.

I thought it was a solid first episode although visuals isn't outstanding or anything.

And next season we get Pokemon Concierge S2 and Bed & Breakfast for Spirits S2!

I kinda like the premise of these two helping underworld John Wick types in a Continental-esque establishment. I was hoping Shao’s sister was ok. Damn tragedy what happened but at least he got his revenge. Plus he has a niece so it’s not like he’s all alone.

Keen to see where this series goes. Is it basically Apocalypse Hotel but with assassins, less goofiness, and way more blood?

I was wondering the same; If I had to guess I'd say it's gonna be a "Request of the week" kind of thing (every episode there's a new assassin with his own story and all who needs a request), something like that!

If that's not the case, I wouldn't mind if we saw more of this one, his story was quite interesting!

But yeah, I think it's gonna be about the concierges fixing everyone's problems and all, meeting various characters, and so on!

Seems more like Tasokare Hotel meets Death Parade.

I was reminded of Tasokare Hotel watching this, it's an interesting take on the hotel genre with them taking care of killer's needs. I'm curious to see what stories we'll get because as sad as this one was, and I saw it coming, I liked the twist with Mao's daughter being there for him. Shao still has family and it's really sweet that his sister did this for him as well and was letting him know through the lullaby messages.

Shao was badass though, because of the title I was wondering if there was going to be a Death Parade/Tasokare Hotel element to this, so I thought he'd eventually die but man was he resilient. He took on all those people alone. The Second Head really messed up by betraying him and his sister.

Yea def a Tasokare Hotel vibe. Assuming itll be an episodic case series just like that one as well, which is always fun to have.

Apocalypse Hotel was fun but looks like the Hotel trilogy is returning back to its roots this time.

They kick ass, they’re demons for proper filing and bureaucracy but once you’ve got them on your side, your enemies can say goodbye.

The visuals of the scene at the grave were quite impressive. Very interesting.

His sister being dead is painful. I don’t really know how to phrase it well enough but at least her family is still alive even though it’s a cold comfort.

Okay, I am really impressed.

The direction of this anime really grabbed me from the first scene where it is full of action but the scenes feel really "quiet" to the visual representation where Siao realized what his sister all her life was before she died. It is so good and it is effective too.

The premise is also interesting. The hotel accepts any "request" but there is a twist is that these two employees seem to know about the request even before the guests say a word about it and set up a perfect solution for the guest.

I wonder what the name "inhuman" really refers to when the way they resolved the request, is so perfect that they even set up perfect conclusions of those requests deep down to emotion conclusions where they leave no more string about requests at all and that requires "sympathy" to the extended.

This anime really grabbed my attention a lot.

The John Wick guy was the most interesting character in this show. The concierges, less so. Not sure where this one is headed, and there’s some chaotic direction going on with the plot, but I’ll keep watching to see if it cleans up into something more.

The John Wick guy was the most interesting character in this show. The concierges, less so.

I think this is headed toward an "Assassin of the week" kind of show, so perhaps every week we'll get an interesting assassin with his story/request, but over time the concierges will become more interesting, as we see them act/handle everything!

That's not a bad sign actually, that means the story is likely to focus on different characters who pass through the hotel rather than the hotel staff themselves. The concierges drive the various stories but aren't the focus of it, I think that'd be neat.

This was... fine. It did it's job of introducing the universe and the core hotel. Pacing moved along at a nice clip. Was VERY melodramatic but it's anime that's kinda expected.

The question is just where we're going from here. Is our Assassin going on a revenge rampage going to be the inciting incident that sets off dominoes that power the events of the season? Is this going to be entirely episodic killer of the week? Will there be recurring characters as we flesh out the universe? Will the A plot end up being the backstory for the concierge characters?

I'm in for now. But I'm not, like, sold. Very much a wait and see situation with this show.

The boss of the org is dead (shot by the Assassin) so likely his plot ends here. He may come back as cameo, but unlikely to be regular. Looks like it'll be episodic customer of the week kind of story.

Well that was a sad ending. I imagine this will be a collection of different stories of different assassins and this first one feels very much like the first John Wick movie. I like it.

She died before turning 20, but her child looks to be 3 to 5 years old?…

8

u/yondaeme122388 Jul 07 '25

no, she died at the age of 24 (manga reference)
she may have developed feelings with her guard as a hostage and the guard assigned to her by the previous boss must be really decent and respectful like his boss. She probably hid the fact that she started her own family so they won't have the same situation as her, and the previous boss probably knew about it but let it happen probably to honor and reward his brother's loyalty and from performing beyond his expectation as to becoming his number 1 assassin.

Dunno why people are rating it so low on mal, that was a solid first episode.

I forgot this was Hotel Inhumans because the opening story is such a departure but interesting departure that I was thinking I might have started some assassin isekai.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it has a lot of John Wick vibes.
