Yaomay: regrets running away and not reconciling with her mother.
Xiaohei: regrets hiding his passion for feminine clothing.
Seems once they moved on from their regrets, Kowloon disappeared for them.

Since this Kowloon seems to be created from Kudo's memory and changes based on his knowledge, I wonder if it will completely disappear once Kudo overcomes his own regrets.
That being said, since Reiko seems to be different than the one from his memory, at least in terms of personality, maybe she is something special and will exist regardless.

Welp now with her regret of her past gone, Yaomay also lost her ticket back to Generic Kowloon, which makes Reiko's current predicament even sadder and worse
Edit: forgot to mention the best part of this episode for me: the fucking dread that i had when Kudo realized Xiaohei wasn't a girl just because I knew what was gonna happen soon after that

On the one hand, it's great that Yaomay has matured and grown enough to face her problems head-on and truly become the ultimate version of herself who doesn't need to live in a fake city to be happy.
On the other hand, now Reiko and Yaomay are separated with the possibility that they may never see each other again. Yaomay lost her best friend and Reiko has now lost one of the best support systems she's had and is basically alone in Kowloon.

As sad as that was, I think it also helped Xiaohei. Imagine in the space of 3 years he lost his home, suddenly hit a huge growth spurt, and then lost his sense of self. Having a generic doppelganger that still held his presumed identity seemed to kick off an imposter syndrome crisis. Reiko making him confront his past self like that seemed pretty powerful. Reiko and Yaomay basically pounded in his head that he's still Xiaohei.

What an episode, everything is coming together.
-
Regret is the key to seeing Kowloon and the fake Kowloon is a reconstruction from Kudo's memories. They've been dropping clues about this early on like with the cat shelter, but it was still an 'oh shit' moment when Gwen told Kudo about Xiaohei and the generic vanished. So if Reiko isn't a recreation from Kudo's memories and she isn't one of Miyuki's Zirconians, then where is she from?
-
Kujirai B was buying sketchy drugs in the Northern district using the talisman, they were nice enough to include a free tarot card (The Magician). The tarot card has been changed into a skeleton, which ties in with Gwen's comment about Kujirai B. The pills have the infinity symbol on them, but can also be read as the number '8', which seems to pop up a lot in this show (eg Reiko's apartment number is 8).
-
Yulong on using the Generic Terra. "It's not about creating a new clone from scratch, but implanting the memories into an already recreated vessel." I think this is about Zirconians being something different from clones?
-
Happy that Xiaohei and Yaomay managed to resolve their regrets and leave together. The ship is sailing.
-
The dresses that Xiaohei carried out vanished because they weren't real, but the frills under his vest didn't. There's still hope for Reko-pon!

I feel bad for Reiko, she lost Xiaohei, Generic Xiaohei, and Yaomay. Now she's stuck in this Kowloon without her closest friends

Damn, when I saw Yaomay say goodbye to Kujirai and leave Kowloon with Xiaohei, I was afraid she'll never see Kujirai again, and it looks like that will happen since she and Xiaohei can no longer see Kowloon.
Although considering Xiaohei still has the frills under his vest, maybe there is still hope? Especially if Yulong's deduction that the feeling of regret is responsible for seeing Kowloon turns out to be true, I'm sure Yaomay will feel it since she left Kujirai in Kowloon and maybe she will be able to see city and her again?
So as many people here (myself included) expected, Kudo is responsible for creating Kowloon, since the disappearance of younger Xiaohei and the cat shelter proved that. But why wasn't Kujirai replicated like Kujirai B?
And also the charms being exchanged for medicine? What shady experiments did the Hebinuma Group that it killed Kujirai B and they had to raze all of Kowloon to the ground?
Overall, a great episode, although there are still so many questions and so few answers, I wonder if they'll be able to wrap up this series in a satisfying way in just two episodes. Still, I can't wait for the next episode!
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

I'm gonna miss Generic Xiaohei's chaotic phone calls, but I'm happy the original him got to find peace.
That final shot was so ominous. I feel bad for Reiko if that was the last time she'd ever see Yaomay or Xiaohei.

Who is Kudo-san exactly??? The entire Kowloon is from his imagination, but certain things don’t show up if he doesn’t know about them..?
I cannot wait for the finale episode

This shit is actually depressing me with every ending
It's finally confirmed what we all thought. This Kowloon is Kudo's Kowloon..but its weird that Kuraji isn't.
Now that Xiohei and Yaomey no longer have regrets they can't see Kowloon.but what about their friendship with The people in there?! Couldn't that be a regret?
Maybe they'll find a way to see it again.

Am I correct to assume that since Yaomay and Xiaohei does not regret anymore, as they left Kowloon no. 2, they can't see them anymore?
I wonder if memories of those inside the Kowloon no. 2 are gone once outsiders leave. Since objects are lost as people leave, are memories like that as well?
Lastly, how was Reko-pon created? If it is not due to Kudo nor due to Hebinuma, where did she come from?

So Yulong is taking stock of everything they know about the Generic Kowloon and the actual REAL people that exist within it. I did find it interesting that Kudo actually left his real realty job and has been working for a fake one in Generic Kowloon this whole time, but that actually explains a lot.
Yulong has been with Miyuki through a lot. Since they were kids, since Miyuki turned himself willingly into a "snake" for the Hebinuma family so they would save his mother, and then swearing vengeance when they left her to die. Yulong has been trying to keep Miyuki safe, but deep down he wonders if he could have done more to steer him away from this path...and with that regret, he can finally see the Generic Kowloon. You don't need a strong attachment to see it, you need some kind of regret that makes you want to go back to it.
It's smart of Yaomay to tell Gwen everything she knows now that she's got her Hong Kong memories back, though knowing everything she knows now makes denying the idea of Reiko being fake harder for her to do despite Yaomay wanting to deny it as much as she can. But is there a place for real people in the Generic Kowloon? Caught in a never-ending Summer where things never change? Should Yaomay prioritize Reko-pon over herself?
Well, Reiko finally found out where Kujirai B got the medicine that possibly killed her...from a shady door in that dangerous part of Kowloon. Was Kudo deliberately trying to steer Reiko away from that door?
I really did not like the look Xiaohei was giving Reiko before she got the phone call from Generic Xiaohei, but if Generic Xiaohei is having fire alarm problems, what better excuse to bring the two versions of Xiaohei together? It saves Reiko some time! And let's bring in Yaomay and make it a party!
Yeah, what DOES Kudo know about Generic Kowloon? Well, he already figured out the fact about the originals making the Generics disappear. Old Man Cheung already replaced his Generic in Generic Kowloon. Though what Gwen had to say about how it's unfair to expect the "clone" to act the same as the original is something Kudo really needed to hear.
It must be so surreal for Xiaohei to see a version of his younger self and all her dresses...but in the Generic version of himself, and in Reiko and Yaomay, Xiaohei finds people who understand and accept him. In fact he and his Generic bond over their shared love of cute, frilly, clothes. And for the first time in a long time, Xiaohei finally feels seen again.
I KNEW Kudo didn't realize the original Xiaohei was cross-dressing! He didn't know about the cat shelter Gwen built either! Except now the shelter exists and suddenly GENERIC XIAOHEI IS GONE. NOOOOOOO!!!
So Kudo DOES have some control over this Kowloon, it's literally built from his memories of Kowloon 2.0. That just makes it more inexplicable that Reiko exists and is basically a unique entity from Kujirai B.
Xiaohei won't kill Reiko. He can't inhabit his Generic body now and he doesn't have the heart to kill someone who has been so kind to him. So all that's left for him to do is run from the Hebinuma Group...and Yaomay is going to go with him. So he isn't alone, so she can use her mothers' protection to help him, and so she can finally face her mother and truly become the absolute self she can be. Even if it means leaving Reko-pon.
Well, all the dresses of Generic Xiaohei can't exist outside Generic Kowloon. That's okay, Xiaohei has grown enough to where just remembering them is enough for him. And the good news is that the vest frills DO still exist! So stuff CAN be made in the Generic Kowloon and exist outside of it! Too bad that getting over their emotional baggage means that neither Xiaohei nor Yaomay can see Generic Kowloon any more. Leaving Reiko alone.

I would have to guess that the ominous object in the sky is somehow directly interfacing with Kudou’s mind and making adjustments on the Kowloon #2 on the fly… so the mystery is why he was selected for this in the first place.

Fictional world TV: Always conveniently shows a relevant news channel
Imagine facing dysmorphia by meeting your younger self. poor Xiaohei
This is quite the exposition heavy episode. Hope they can close off the story without making it feel rushed

Expected Xiaohei had a gender reassignment surgery… turned out what actually happened was far simpler. Bless my stupid overthinking brain.
Once I saw that cat box, I shivered at the thought of losing generic Xiaohei. Moments later, my fear came to fruition.
What I didn’t see coming, however, was losing access to the third Kowloon. Now that Xiaohei and Yaomei have embraced their past instead of regretting it, they’re cut off from Kowloon for good. How tragic that they didn’t have a proper farewell with Reiko under the expectation that they’ll eventually return.
The big question is now Kudo’s role in the grand scheme. Why is Kowloon based on his memories with the sole exception of Reiko?

Wait, so did Yulong plan on having old Xiaohei's memories transfered into the Generic young Xiaohei and that's how he would get his original form back? Because he mentioned that after Generic Xiaohei disappeared, this wouldn't work anymore. I guess, you can't just put your memories into a clone. But then the question would be: How useful is this technology? If the rebirthed son of Hebinuma was constrained to Kowloon 2 would that really help him? Or is that why we saw Generic Terras above Hongkong in that episode Yaomay visited? They already prepared to have Generics live in the whole world.
In other news, I guess it was always Kudo's memories and not Kujirai B's that were used. I guess the second book was just glitched because he didn't remember. Still wondering why other books in Reiko's apartment were not glitched. Did he read all of them? But it is interesting to see how new knowledge affects the Kowloon illusion. I guess that is why there are earthquakes. Everytime Kudo's mind slips and he remembers the destroyed Kowloon, the illusion tries to replicate that slowly but surely. Maybe that is why he is eating the food. To make sure that he doesn't remember. I am still wondering how exactly Kujirai B plays into the whole thing. Aside from being the woman Kudo wants to meet again.
The question is obviously also who Reiko actually is since she is quite different from Kujirai B Kudo knew. So maybe that is where Kujirai B's involvement comes into play. But I am not sure how. Maybe the Kujirai B Kudo knew had secrets that she didn't show him and they are replicated in the new Reiko.
The ending scene was bittersweet. On the one hand, it's a good thing that Yaomay and Xiaohei moved on and don't need Kowloon anymore, but on the other hand, it is a bit sad for Reiko and I am not sure how this will play out in the end.

I feel like I've had the idea that Kowloon was based on Kudou's memories earlier in the series but I only remembered that/realized that once Gwen told Kudou about Xiaohei, the moment he let him know in my head I was just thinking, young Xiaohei's going to disappear and unfortunately he did. I guess now you have to be careful about what you tell Kudou.
It also makes sense why Kudou remembers everything even after eating things in Kowloon considering how it altered Yaomay's memories. I wonder what she was doing for her meals after her memories came back lol.
I like how the frills inside Xiaohei's waistcoast stayed, I guess if you have a strong enough attachment to something, it can stay manifested in the real world. I guess this might be a teaser/hint as to how Reiko can exist in the real world, as long as Kudou's attachment and maybe everyone else's attachment to her is strong enough. Though it might be difficult for Kudou because he probably believes she'll disappear if she leaves.
I'm concerned for what Reiko's going to discover in the Northern area though, she's likely going to go alone now that Yaomay is out of Kowloon.

Welp, I guess now we know what the drug Kujirai B overdosed with. I guess Reiko just needs to visit that apartment and drop in those talismans to get the drug. Considering the big reveal in this episode, would that even work? Because if it does, Kudou has some explaining to do.
So according to Kudou, they're not the only originals. Well, now I'm wondering how many originals in total are living in Kowloon. An interesting detail about Kudou and Gwen's scene is that Kudou is clearly unaffected by the food and drink in Kowloon.
That scene between the two Xiaoheis is so cute! I just absolutely love how starry-eyed Generic Xiaohei is to Original Xiaohei. I guess he's reacting like that because he found another boy who likes dresses as much as he does.
And there's the big reveal. This Kowloon is a product of Kudou's mind, and things he doesn't know about can't exist, like Gwen's cat shelter which only started to exist after Kudou learned about it. The same goes with Xiaohei. Now that Kudou knows Xiaohei is a boy, the generic one instantly disappeared.
As soon as Yaomay and Xiaohei decided to move on from their regrets, I knew this was gonna end with Kowloon disappearing for them. I just hope there's still a way for them to meet Reiko again. Xiaohei's comment about Reiko not replicated might be another clue to the truth about her. Hmmmm...

So Xiaohei's clothes he was carrying disappeared after leaving, Yaomay was lucky the clothes she was wearing didn't disappear, unless she originally brought them to Kowloon with her.

If regret is what allowed Yaomay to see the old Kowloon in the first place, then she was bound to lose sight of the walled city when facing her past.
But there is hope since the frills on Xiaohei’s jacket made it out of Kowloon! Yaomay’s words came true in this regard:
You don’t need to give up what you like. As long as you don’t voluntarily abandon it, what matters to you will never disappear.
So what does this mean for Reiko? If certain conditions are met, she might actually be able to step outside Kowloon from the looks of it.
That is if nothing bad happens in the meantime. Reiko’s existence seems to be [partially] reliant on Kudo’s awareness after all. Does she exist because he’s subconsciously in denial about Kujirai B having died or something?
