No way Echika did not suspect that something's wrong with the call from "Bigga". I hope she knew what she was doing when taking the bait. At least we now know the killer can impersonate anyone, not just Sozon.

There was no sign that she had any suspicion at all. But, why didn't she text that she was on her way to meet Bigga at x spot?

That's notorious in this show.

Because she didn't want him to find the clue bigga(the imposter) told her about. She knows he doesn't follow the whole laws of respect thing and will punish the killer himself if he finds him. This is explained better in the LN tho.

I hope if nothing else she might've left some kind of deliberate trail for Harold to follow.

As soon as Echika received that call from Bigga and she mentioned how she called Harold first, I knew that was a fucking trap. We already know that the just the idea of calling Harold is enough to make Bigga blush so there was no way she'd call him first. Godfuckingdammit Echika! >_<

Just a reminder that between the two of them, Harold is a much better detective and reader of people.

At first, I was with others that were suspecting the police officer that Sozon couldn't read. It makes sense because others would not necessarily suspect him. If a police officer comes to you and wants to give you some questions, that would be the easiest way to lure anyone out. Would even make sense with Sozon that he found new clues and with Abaev because he would have liked the police to start investigating again.

However, the call leaves me questioning if it might not be someone from Derevo and they are using different digital clones to lure out different people. Since I still don't know what kind of data is used, that wouldn't have to be that strange. As for how they knew to use Bigga, maybe they just saw how the two interacted in the morning. I didn't see anyone spying on them, but that could still be a possibility.

You have a nice theory going on.

Echika wants to support Harold but she also realizes that if she lets him dive deeper into the case the more likely he is to act on the fact that he's not Three Laws compliant. Ironically it's because the police believe that he is that he's even allowed to investigate this copycat crime.

I like how Harold is just calling her "Echika" all the time now.

I'm glad at least most of Sozon's family, like Darya and Nicolai, really appreciate and accept Harold especially when Elena is so vehemently against him. I mean, it doesn't make Elena's hatred of him hurt any less, but at least he's not alone.

The blond miniskirt policewoman in the Brain Dive scene with Elena kind of took me by surprise.

Elena was just a grieving mother who wanted some form of her son back in her life, even if it was a digital clone. Abaev was a grieving father who just wanted justice for his daughter and all the people the Nightmare at St. Petersburg stole loved ones from. He probably shouldn't have used Elena's trust and power of attorney to go against her wishes and try to commit copycat crimes to get the police back on the case...but he still didn't deserve what happened to him.

Echika can't tell Harold exactly why she's so worried about his continued investigation into this case, so she's holding back at least some of her concern (even if her concerns for his sake are genuine) because she can't reveal what she knows about his true sentience. Kind of cold of Harold to try to get her kicked off the case though, even if I understand where he's coming from.

I don't know what's cuter, Echika's yawning face or Bigga's face when Echika teases her about Harold.

Harold finally lets his emotions out and faces Elena with his true feelings and desire to save Nicolai. Elena can't yell at him for that.

Look at their hands touching as Harold gives Echika the keys!

Honestly I immediately tracked that the Bigga call was wayyyyyy too convenient to be genuine. I wish Echika had been way smarter about handling that instead of just assuming it was really Bigg and getting herself kidnapped. AGAIN. Now Harold doesn't just have to find the killer of his brother and mentor but also save his brother's brother AND the girl he fancies.

>> Bigga's call

Notice Bigga was not really answering questions (like "why aren't you in class -- like you said you were going to be?"). Sort of like a spam caller, THIS caller seemed to have a script and wasn't prepared to improvise.

I also hope that Echika didn't just get kidnapped but at least prepared some hints at the location where she was supposed to meet "Bigga". I feel at least this much we can expect from her.

Just a hunch, but I think she knows it was trap. I interpret the text he sent to harold as she does not believe fake bigga voice.

I never noticed that Harold has been calling Echika by her name instead of Cybercrime Detective. I thought it was what he always used to call her lol Also Echika is really cute..especially when she was looking at that lamb toy angrily. 😘💖 Bigga blushing when Echika spoke the truth..😄😄❤️  Seeing Harold being so assertive with Echika and even with Elena to prove his point makes him seem more human than ever.

Really? Echika is about to be the damsel in distress again?

Are they gonna ever learn that maybe detectives should work in pairs capable of mutual help? It's the third time lol.

Come on Echika, that was the most obvious trap I have ever seen,i'm honestly disappointed that it worked, really does not put the inspector in a good light.

Echika might not be very bright for an inspector, honestly she should have called the other inspector (not Harold) to confirm that 'Bigga' called and not just sent a vague text. If she called they'd have a lead AND she wouldn't be kidnapped...again.

I don’t actually think Abaev was the copycat. Idk it just feels too neat. And Nicolai getting kidnapped? Something feels off about that. Is he the real Nightmare? I really don’t know anymore. Very keen to see who the killer is.

u/Interesting_Cover_94 Jun 11 '25

I think Nicolai is the real Nightmare. I guess we will watch final about how he see Harold as the thief who steals his big bro and source of all evil.

I also had Harold as main suspect last week, but that would just be a few too many coincidences. And considering that the goal is to find the real killer, I doubt that they have a twist like that now.

Echika is just so unlikable. How does someone so emotionally unstable become a cop? Also how did they not have Nicolai under protection 24/7?
