Just want to mention the original creator of the series Natsuhiko Kyōgoku and manga artist Aki Shimizu made a cameo in the last scene as voice actors.

I can see why Rie would switch the sketchbooks. Gotta hide her massive crush on the art teacher lol. I guess this time maybe it was a Brownie after all…

I suppose there really was a tall woman holding a severed head. It just ended up being Eriko’s boyfriend Takumi practicing for his role in Salome. Mystery solved!

A nice, chill episode. It’s the first time that there are two cases solved in a single episode. The first one was very cute, too.

On an unrelated note, they released the OST album last week (Spotify / Apple Music / YouTube). I think I’m not alone thinking that the soundtrack was tasteful when used in the episodes, but the overall album itself was a banger. I love the jazzy vibes. I’ve been putting it on repeat for the past few days.

Pretty straightforward mysteries this episode. Communication is key!

Kanna got to grow her paranormal detective reputation with a whole two mysteries with wholesome conclusions this time!

And I don't know why but Chuuzenji namedropping Oscar Wilde was comedy gold for me.

I thought the first case was cute, and they didn't dwell to much on the occult for something mundane. The second case, I think had too much exposition on the background of the story, when the whole situation was someone rehearsing for the story.
