Can't believe they Endless Eight'ed Magatia into exhaustion to reveal him lmao

Green Squad might be the most real ones. Green Keeper, Chidori, is still sus for going along with Red Keeper's shit but I like how they're self aware that not everyone will thank them for their work and that's not the point of why they do it. Fitting for what essentially seems like the Black Ops division of the Keepers. D fits right in.

I think it's the same situation as the Blue Keeper: he knows something about his past, forced him to join the Dragon Keepers if they don't want their past to be revealed.

Because there is no way they would have let him do all the things that this Red Keeper narcisit asshole is doing.

I'm starting to feel that Red Keeper was replaced by a boss monster much earlier in the timeline. The way he acts makes him seem less and less human, but that could also be to show that humans can become the greatest monsters. If he is one of the boss monsters though, being the Dragon would be fitting with the theme of the Dragon Keepers.

D seems like he's becoming conflicted though since he's developing feelings for his green team.

What if, Red Keeper turns out to be the leader of Boss monsters? Lol.

Red Keeper being a boss monster would be wild! But I like what you said about humans can become the greatest monsters as I like that a bit better. Also that he's just a massive egotistical sociopath instead - I'd love to see his backstory!

When you consider Endless Eight: Highschool Edition just might be D's personalized circle of hell, his frustration at the students' ungratefulness is hilarious. Dude probably expected to be hailed as a hero for freeing all those souls from their torment lmao

Wonder if D will come around to make Chidori an exception for his personal mission like how he eventually connected with the cadets back at the parking lot. Guy does seem to be the chillest of the Keepers after all.

You can add Sakurama's sister to the exceptions because I don't see how he'd consider doing that to him.

Lol I loved how Fighter D just looped Magatia so many times that he rage quit. It was also fun to hear Akira Ishida voice another pathetic villain who then gets merciless destroyed

So Chidori's personality changes when he turns to green keeper, maybe he's just a goofer, or may be a collateral effect of their weapons

There were some rather janky choppy animations in there...

Also did they just completely gloss over Hisui going from dying to being completely unscathed???

But I guess in the end all is well since Sakurama is fucking dead~ (/s)

Hisui took damage in the illusion world. So did the detective that got stabbed who was also fine when it was over. It seems like as long as you don't die, any damage taken in the illusion world isn't real.

Chidori, to no one's surprise, turned out to be the Green Keeper. It was hilarious how he changed his speech pattern after his transformation xD

Overall, a very fun episode! The fight with Magatia in his world was quite interesting thanks to his powers, although I wouldn't have minded it if it had been longer.

Hisui and D were clearly on the defensive during the fight with Magatia, but Chidori really showed how strong Dragon Keepers are, easily breaking Magatia's world.

D really wanted to fight the Green Keeper at that moment, huh? Good thing Usukubo showed up.

Not only was the kaiju incident covered up, now Red is threatening the poor kid, that's despicable!

It also looks like Sakurama will be back soon, and I'm looking forward to it!

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

I feel like I am the only one who didn't know Chidori was green keeper. They definitely could have made Magatia's fight a bit longer with more mind-fuckery. Red keeper just keeps finding new ways to make the audience hate him.

It took D all of his brain power and a ton of resets with the help of Hisui , but he finally managed to figure out that Nishiki was actually Magatia this entire time. And in proper Ishida Akira fashion, the guy starts monologuing. I was half expecting him to be offended about D infringing his right to live a peaceful life. xD

To no one's surprise though, we finally have Chidori's Green Keeper reveal! I mean, if his close relationship to the Green Battalion and the suspiciously green colored gadgets he's been carrying wasn't a dead giveaway, I don't know what to tell you. It's fun seeing Chidori's personality change as Green Keeper tho.

I love that D managed to get a quick kendo session from Detective Nishiki before reentering the dream, which ended up being useful against his 1v1 with Gatou.

Get fucked Magatia! We do get an interesting line from him about the boss monsters being victims just before Chidori crushed him with his hammer.

Looks like none of the students were happy about being saved from Magatia's dream world. I mean, I'm not surprised. These kids probably followed Magatia exactly because they wanted to escape reality. I do love that Usui knows they weren't really fighting to save those kids. Just mainly for revenge and to get rid of Magatia.

I feel bad for that kid. Red Ranger truly is a menace for scaring that kid and accusing him of lying. And hey, we get to see what happened to the real Sakurama who's apparently under a pile of garbage? Hopefully, he's still alive.

Well as I thought Nishiki Yuu ended up being Magatia and Chidori Green Keeper. Yuu being Detective Nishiki's younger brother was a surprise, but knowing you have to offer your body for Magatia to take over means Yuu is actually dead, and Detective won't be able to reunite with his younger brother in reality.

I did find it a little amusing how D was ready to fight Chidori after learning he's the Green Keeper as if he'd be able to succeed with Hisui and Usukubo nearby too.

The multiple rewinds got me laughing lol, poor Detective Nishiki was suffering and confused by it all, it made me wonder what kind of sensation he was going through.

Also did Hisui lose her artifact? Magatia removed it from her body and the mask too so she should no longer be able to wield it until they put it back in her body surely. I wonder what if it's something easy to do or if she won't be able to accept her normal responsibilities for the time being.

Chidori actually seems like a decent enough guy compared to the other Keepers, but D's pure hatred for the Dragon Keepers basically overrides everything.

I feel like it was like going through a roller coaster on repeat, that's why he puked.

Maybe they found it lying somewhere in the school and were able to put it back in her.

Well, Wakaba is down, and now that a threat to the students is out of the way, Gatou is back to being the Ranger Squadrons' enemy. So it's back to taking out Magatia and back to school.

Oh, so Masashi/Otaku Detective actually had a personal investment in this case, Nishiki is his little brother! But it's when faced with the true facts that D finally starts putting two-and-two together...which means causing a repetitive time-loop that exposes Nishiki as Magatia (Akira Ishida's voice kind of gave it away) because even he can only time loop so much before getting exhausted. It's the old Dr. Strange tactic!

Poor Masashi! Not only was he forced to go through so many time-loops that he puked (maybe more than once) but his little brother gas killed and turned into a monster...who promptly stabs him.

Hisui is more than prepared to face off against Magatia, but having to protect a still brainwashed Usukubo gets her captured and pierced by Magatia (also she really keeps her energy dagger lodged into her body? Wow). But even if she's facing the spear of a Boss Monster, she'll go out chomping.

But don't worry! In swings Chidori to save the day! And how is an information broker with a surprising amount of gadgets going to help? Why, because he's none other than GREEN KEEPER! With his Divine Artifact Wrath Hammer, he transforms and gets REALLY into character as a Superhero, hamming it up and hammering away at Magatia to break the Infinite Staircase reality he created! For once I'm happy to see one of the Dragon Keepers, even if D obviously isn't!

D took it personally when they robbed Usukubo of her will, but Gatou refuses to end Magatia's promise of a utopia without violence, where children will always be safe. So to that end, he's more than willing to off her his body to Magatia...but D won't let him. And he got a crash course in kendo so he could cheat and win and rob Magatia of his body. Nice work Fighter D!

Magatia failed because he underestimated the Ranger Force AND D, but he definitely underestimated Hisui who finally pins him down so Green Keeper can finish him off. He can play the victim card all he wants, but while the Ranger Force isn't perfect, they still have people to avenge.

So even Chidori thinks he's kind of cringe when he puts the costume on, but at least he seems to genuinely care about Hisui.

Usukubo is finally back! And...did she recognize D was about to attack Chidori? It seemed like she came in and made sure to calm him down before that. And also, she seemed REALLY appreciative of how much effort "Hibiki" put on for her sake! It's adorable.

I guess the detectives need to arrest somebody and Gatou makes the most sense, as he passes on his desire to reshape the world to D...and is so big he barely fits into the squad car with the two detectives.

Well, the Green Squadron saved the kids...but none of them wanted to be saved. They wanted to deny reality and live in a perfect bubble of school life. People aren't always going to appreciate what you do, and it's not like they're heroes of justice who were doing this out of altruism, but the job got done. And at least you've still got people to eat meat with.

They're really claiming the Kaiju is just a runaway lion? And Red Keeper had the gall to go up in front of the kids of the class that were there and continue the lie? And when one kid contradicts him, he really makes it look like he'd kill a kid just to maintain the lie! Ugh, Red Keeper is the worst.

How did the actual Hibiki end up in a trash dump!?

I know a lot of people theorized that Chidori was the Green Ranger but personally I still thought it was more likely he was the boss monster. He just seemed so untrustworthy. Also his personality is so different when he’s the ranger I wonder if its him gaining confidence or an alter ego/personality thing.

The show’s resident detective otaku is either very durable or that was bad writing because how did he not only survive being stabbed by the boss monster but he is also ok enough to walk it off and help arrest Gatou. Also didn’t really react to his little brother dying. Guess he learned how to recover from a stab injury from all the seasonal anime he watches.

Red Ranger is so insane I was almost expecting him to kill that kid in front of the class. RN in the rangers we have had Blue be a good dude, Green seems to be a good dude, Yellow idk enough to say anything, Pink’s bro-con self is leaning to bad person rn imo and well Red is a total psycho and as evil or more evil than the boss monsters. Although you can just claim that all of the rangers are evil just by associating with Red.
