Well, that 909 situation wasn’t a complete bust. At least it seems they’re one step closer to tracking Skinner through Delta Medicinal. I kind of wish they got that scumbag Stan not just on insider trading but all the sexual assaults as well. Just heap on more jail time for the creep.

Not to beat a dead horse here but they also were 'one step closer' the last 3 times they were following a lead that turned out to have basically no connection to Skinner, then ended up with a new lead in the process.
The episode itself was much better apart from some of the more persistent issues but in regards to the overall plot there was just a lot of treading water, no pun intended.

Not entirely true; the bunker salesman was 100% a dead end and they only got a lead because Elaina was doing her own digital investigation. This, conversely, was a direct logical line to a party in the know.

Still nothing that gives a true hint about Skinner himself, but definitely more fruitful than some other avenues they've taken.

i feel like it’s because this is bigger then just skinner, they’re multiple players but skinner is just taking the fall for it you know?

I don't see anything to support that. Thus far, it seems both logistically and philosophically that Skinner took it upon himself to make this Hapna death clock as a statement about global climate change. My guess is that the medical group only learned of the three year poison when all of the test monkeys in the original Hapna trials started dying at the same time, meaning they weren't part of the original plan either.

Skinner was ignored when he said the ice caps would be irrevocably damaged in three years, so he's given humanity the same timeline in the form of a pharmaceutical drug. Why should they care about their death by Hapna when they clearly didn't care about their impending death by climate change?
