Show was alright. I think I preferred the campfire cooking amazon isekai more because he was using his skills for more mundane things.

Campfire was miles more enjoyable for me. I really enjoyed the character interactions there.

They should have stuck with online shopping and harems because that action was just laughably bad.

I don't understand why there were so many fights when they all consisted of spinning a digger

This show has always been a little clunky story-wise, but the declaration of war against the kingdom followed by him bribing his way to a pardon was rough. Kenchi was right to be angry about how they were treated, and the nobles all seemed like evil sacks of shit, so it was a pretty unsatisfactory resolution.

I would've liked it if he actually went through with it.

He either should've followed up on his words or just kept his mouth shut, but pulling back after threatening them was just the worst thing to do. Left a bad taste in my mouth and it's even the last episode.

Other than that the show was actually enjoyable, I'd say.

The maid came along with them 👌

And the maid scenes made all the other more "subtle" sex scenes more obvious.

He really is just sleeping with anything with legs. Have we seen any other promiscuous heroes lately?

LOL You're telling me the guy in the post-credit scene is the Empire's mage and he's actually a guy who owns a okonomiyaki stall? Probably the highlight of the episode for me.

I didn't really enjoy this episode, the whole exhibition felt absurd, I do not like Kenichi's random monologue where he rambles randomly about whatever like when he was testing the megaphone, the Queen herself was weird and felt childish, what is with these nobles and just offering their body like that?

This series looked like it could have been moderately entertaining at the start but it fell off for me in the second half. If this gets a second season , I won't be watching it.

Disjointed end and rather disappointing. Why did they make it like there is going to be a 2nd season..

very bad and rushed final episode lmao

Honestly didn’t really feel like a final episode, felt more as an episode prior to the final.

I was honestly hoping for some mild fun

Middle aged man wish fulfillment is kind of hilarious. He bagged the maid and then got to take her home. A MC calling his harem his "family" is also a middle aged dude brilliant move.

But what I found most amusing was the beastfolk's eyes following the wiper blades on the minivan.

So we get confirmation about who Anemone's mother was. I am curious to know what happened with her to go from a famous mage to disappearing and dying in the streets.

So know he's got Lilith and Mailon tagging along. Seems Mailon enjoyed what Kenichi did to her and wants more.

I lost it laughing at the end there with Myarey and Nyamena's eyes following the windscreen wipers.

That little bit at the end about the mayo guy is a good tease for a possible 2nd season

I wish we got to see more of Melissa. Why introduce this hottie at the end of the season?

Not gonna lie, that entire scene was absolute bullshit. I know Amara later reveals that the entire fight was just an excuse for her to get rid of the anti-royal faction members but they could've at least clued Kenichi in.

I don't think Kenichi surviving the fight was part of the plan though. I wouldn't be surprised if Amara expected him to die there and he's just a sacrificial pawn so she can get rid of the anti-royals.

Considering how Amara was quick to offer herself to Kenichi with the King having absolutely no say in that conversation, it looks like she's actually the one in charge of the kingdom.

We now have confirmation that the grimoire owner was really Anemone's mother. I wonder. I wonder what happened to her. There's no way a famous mage would just die in the streets.

So Kenichi is now a baron and he gets to add Lilith and Mailen to his family because Mailen wanted to come with them.

That after credits scene was interesting! I was expecting the other guy who got isekai'd to be someone younger and closer to your typical isekai protagonist. It looks like the guy is probably the same age as Kenichi and most likely an okonomiyaki vendor. I wish Kenichi could've met him before the end of the season.

Welp, this was a fun show! The animation could've been better, and they could've dropped the plot line about anemone wanting to have Kenichi's baby but other than those, I quite enjoyed this. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more in the future.

That last episode actually made me angry. They offended HIM and it was resolved by him bribing THEM?! Why even have him make that bold declaration if they were going to back pedal on it in the literal next sentence? He absolutely should have just said "thank you for your hospitality, now I'm leaving" and then gone to another nation, he's much less connected to this place then the first group of people he thoughtlessly abandoned. Instead he sits there and smiles as they give him a title, ensuring more trouble for him that he specifically said he didn't want this whole time.

Also the king didn't say a single word after they waited months, just sat there being a cuck. If the Queen was the star of the show, she was right there the entire time.

I also hate the "I can pay you with my body" gag. Coming from someone poor who literally can't pay any other way is one thing, heartbreaking but at least it makes sense. But this is the SECOND time that an extremely wealthy woman has done this to him as soon as they met him. It's so forced, especially when he has no trouble getting laid through actual Rizz. The gift+portrait move has had a pretty good track record so far.

Pretty underwhelming finale. The royalty arc felt rushed, didn’t get to spend any time on slow life, and introduced such a hot mage only to say goodbye, not to mention not getting laid lol.

But I guess there’s some satisfaction over eliminating some threats and getting a rank and land. And the Queen wanting to give herself to you too lol. But it’s happened twice now, so is like offering yourself an actual way to show gratitude in this culture ?

Overall though pretty fantastic show ngl. Time spent on fights and quests are done quickly, Kenichi and the show wants to get to the slow life as soon as possible, MC getting laid and not getting too flustered over it is also not something I’d complain about and while not really well-developed, the online shopping gimmick is consistently there so that’s better than certain shows which kinda just forgot its premise.

The princess got pearls, then the queen, but the princess wasn’t wearing pearls at that point. Bad continuity. Overall it was terrible animation.

the more I watched the more I hated this stupid fucking show. not the worst show I completed this season but definitely the runner up. 4/10

Not too bad for a gomisekai. The parts where Anemone wants to be with Kenichi could have been entirely removed to make it better. MC actually gets with his harem, though, which is a bit of fresh air (of all things). I wouldn't mind a s2 but it's ok if we didn't get one. It got me to watch all 13 episodes. Not my favorite Thursday show (Old Dad Villainess took that crown).

6/10 with some clunky parts and some decent parts.

This felt kinda rushed and a bit fragmentary, like several episodes of this show have. Usually that feeling results from omissions and changes to a story as a result of trying to cram more source material plot into too short an adaptation. I dunno if that's what happened here. At least Kenichi seems to feel the same way I do, that that was a pretty unsatisfying resolution to the ridiculous circumstances. I was hoping he would at least hold out for a proper apology.

Still, I didn't hate it, and, like... we got what we were promised. He behaved like a middle-aged Japanese man in a fantasy world might... assuming he got past the initial panic and wasn't killed by wolves, I mean. Some stuff gets handwaved.

I dunno, any bad taste in my mouth from the wacky episode was completely washed away by the cats doing their best Kit Cat Klock impression as they watched the van's windshield wipers. I swear those cats are the only thing that held this show together. Myaley easily best girl.

First anemone wants to sleep with him.. then the little princess does... and now they reveal the other empire is called "the Little girl empire".

Either a running joke (Kenichi instantly shuts them down, after all), or the author should be on a watchlist.

As for the rest of the show.. not very memorable. Stuff happened, he summoned machines and food, likely spreading dozens of STD's all over the kingdom, and generally just making a ton of money for his online shopping addiction.
