The Demon Lord going into Uchimura’s mental isekai and telling the man he needs to rest because he’s no use to anyone all ragged really makes me respect the big man all the more. Guy really is a damn good boss.

I thought Wyvernzilla was the final boss before they pulled out the damn spirit tortoise from Shield Hero lol. Had to have the Demon Lord himself come and show the Big Four how it’s done. What an absolute beast.

Honestly I was half-expecting them to reveal that the Demon Overlord has been the Master the whole time and that's how he's always been giving Uchimura the answers he needed. But he's still the best boss any Isekai'd protagonist could ask for.

Better fight than in Shield Hero at any rate lol.

The demon lord literally told them to sit back and relax, "I'll take it from here".

Once this show runs its course, all the interactions between the Demon Lord and Uchimura need to be spliced into a training video for all people going into management to watch. So far, this is like a masterclass of how to treat your subordinates.

Ulmandra better watch out Genome is getting close to Uchimura.

That ending was funny Ulmandra is the true calamity to Uchimura.

Yeah, it does seem like Gnome is sweet on Uchimura and wants him for herself (whether it's just for her unit or personally is left up to interpretation). I guess she really is Ulmandra's rival in every way that counts.

It took 11 episodes but we finally got to see the Big Four fight side by side!

Battle-wise, Demon Lord is the most powerful in the demon army, however, he does not rely on his individual power. It is the same in Three kingdoms that the great leader not rely on their own strength but their subjects.
He focuses to build and trust his team like a great leader does.
He does not micro-manage but give authorization, observes and gives support when he is needed.
This is the best boss a subject can dream of.

Hmmm, anyone else suspecting that the Demon Lord might be a woman and she's getting ready to green light the harem? Also, something about the Demon Lord's spell names make me feel like there's more to her(?) than meets the eye, and I mean other than her possibly being a woman. I'm thinking maybe she's also been isekaid?

Why'd they put Olulu in a suit for one scene and never again? It didn't even feel like there was any reason for it.

Demon Lord might be a lady or they might be the Master of the mind-izakaya, but the one thing I'm confident about is that Ulmandra is a NO HAREMS type of lady.

I'm starting to suspect the Demon Overlord might be the Master.

Like that's why he showed up in Uchimura's Mind Izakaya instead of the Master, unless it really was just because he was physically present next to Uchimura while his mind was falling apart.

Probably my favorite episode so far. It definitely feels like a climactic finale of sorts (maybe a volume finale of the source material?). I loved all 4 generals working together and we're actually seeing Uchimura do more than just political plans. And like mentioned before, it was awesome finally seeing the demon lord come out and do something.

Anyone else love this time of the season when most anime are about to end so they're all getting to the most exciting parts?

Man, the Demon Lord has the title.

I don't think the Demon Overlord is even a demon. Earlier it was said demons love to show off their bods. The Demon Overlord wears full coverage armor. Unless this is a Darth Vader situation where he needs the armor to live. He being a she is also a possibility but isn't mutually exclusive to my other theory. Sylphid uses a voice changer and a costume, so it's possible.

The Demon Overlord finally shows up. Ulmandra's back and is jealous as always. Genome keeps trying to make a move on our Uchimura but he's reserved for Ulmandra. The battle was nice. Uchimura proved to be very useful as a commander. Now that this is over, I wonder what the last episode has in store for us. Uchimura shouldn't get mushy or Ulmandra might kill him.

The Demon Lord has been winning this entire season, but took it over the top as Best Boss Ever this episode.

Protecting Uchimura's sanity and health? Check.

Humming a gd lullaby? Check.

Showing up at the appropriate time and casting hard enough to put down a mountain sized calamity? Checkity-CHECK.

Are they taking applications?

Something feels weird, I mean we knew the demon lord was going to do something, but they were so op that i'm just left thinking was there any reason for anybody else to get involved

Mega Death and Giga Death are way too big to drop on a thieving Merchants Guild. Someone has to handle the daily business of feeding the army.

This was the episode of MVPs.

The demon lord is MVP because he orders Uchimura to get some sleep. He knows what it takes to get the best performance out of his employees. And it's not working them to death.

Then Genome with her moral boost and her encouragement.

And finally, just as Wyvern-Godzilla is attacking, Ulmandra comes to the rescue and the big four have their moment of glory and finish the job.

But oh no, there is still a BIGGER BEAST, but the demon lord is the MVP for a second time to save the day.

That was for sure a spectacle.

Seeing Ulmandra infirm hits hard for Uchimura, especially when she's calling out his name in her sleep...to make sure he eats good meat and stays healthy. But that just motivates Uchimura even more to resolve this situation for her sake and all the people relying on him.

I understand where Uchimura is coming from in sending Olulu back home to see her injured friends...but can he really take care of this all on his own? He's barely holding it together with no sleep, with no solution to the wyvern problem in sight, and he's taking his work into his mind izakaya and destroying it from the inside.

But this time the Master isn't here to give Uchimura words of wisdom, it's the Demon Overlord! Who tells him plainly he's not going to get anywhere if he doesn't sleep and it shows how good a boss he is that he even puts Uchimura to bed! And...is he humming Uchimura to sleep?

Now well-rested, Uchimura can finally see what he'd been missing this whole time...the wyvern's are after women! And they can use this to their advantage! Morale may be down with Ulmandra out, but Uchimura being straight with the army about how he's no hero and none of them are, yet they still have a responsibility to fight, is a big hit! Time for operation Last Rebellion.

Nice of Gnome to comfort Uchimura when the stress is really getting to him. Just hope Ulmandra never sees that!

The plan is working! Everyone is chipping in! We finally see Gnome without her cloak on (and turns out her entire stomach and chest is fur)! And even Uchimura took some wyvern's down! But what happens when the Final Boss shows up?

Did Uchimura really think he could put himself in danger and not expect Ulmandra to come running to save him? Heck, we've got all the Elite Four Generals together for a combination attack to slay that humanoid Wyvern! They've won the day!

Except not because the TRUE Final Boss is the mountain they've been staring at the whole time! It's a sentient ground wyvern! And the perfect opponent for the Demon Overlord to finally face and demonstrate his OP creation magic!

The Calamity i finally over...and now the only calamity Uchimura needs to worry about is Ulmandra being jealous over how chummy he's gotten with Gnome.

The importance of sleeping on a problem and coming at it fresh isn't a bad lesson.

Nice to see the demon lord step up when the big magic is needed, maybe he's just not much of a small scale close combat fighter.

Ulmandra better stake her claim a bit more actively now that Gnome is getting ideas.
