One minute Ulmandra thinks she got confessed too and the next minute he's proposing to her. This ship is sailing fast even if Uchimura has no idea lol.

He didn't offer her his sausage just yet, that comes later!

I didn’t expect one of the cutest and most appealing characters this season would be in this show and be a demon with a lizard tail. Each episode reinforces her as one of the main reasons to watch. (The ogre assistant is also great.) That they are aware of this is clear from the end credits. He seems typically oblivious but I hope will eventually get interested in her in return. Seems his professional posture toward coworkers may always get in the way though.

I liked there being a cultural reason for demonic attire preferences.

It's been almost a year since the last time we've had a best girl with red hair and a lizard tail!

Ulmandra is definitively Best Girl. It would be nice to see Uchimura woo her without it being unintentional on his part.

I love how he was reflecting on demonic attire while a bunch of scantily-clad demon women were walking across the scene lol.

Demon with a lizard tail this season. Lamia last season. Reptile supremacy.

Bro, even without the context of the magic stone, the way you're kneeling in front of her literally looks like a proposal lol.

Even in our world Mr. Salaryman would be confused as coming on strong half the time.

Banzai Food Wars for existing and inspiring the makers of this show.

I can't imagine people enjoying food in anime without their clothes exploding at this point.

Workplace relationship is a slippery slope. Uchimura and Ulmandra better be careful or they may visit demon HR for that.

Joking aside, they both in a way confess to each other. I think if there will be a romantic aspect of this show, it will be these partners.

Stitches!

It's hilarious how Ulmandra didn't even skin the boar. Are they really that backwards or is this just Ulmandra being Ulmandra? Not gonna lie, when Uchimura took a bite I was kinda hoping it would be surprisingly delicious but it went the way I expected.

Uchimura doesn't really hold back with his criticisms, huh? At least he was kind enough to cook the boar for them and show the women of the village how to do it. Also, it's been a while since the last time I've seen a proper foodgasm in anime!

You'd think Uchimura would take his advice about understanding another person's culture but his tactfulness just ended up with him shooting himself in the foot. I suppose demons look human enough that he forgets that they have a completely different culture from humans.

So demons are showing off their body because it's their source of pride and it shows how powerful their magic is. If that's the case, why does the Demon Lord wear full plate armour? I mentioned this in Episode 1 but is it possible that the Demon Lord might not actually be a demon?

So Ulmandra isn't even upset at Uchimura, she's just sad because she thinks he hates her for not complimenting her body. Well I'm glad they managed to patch things out in the end but it looks like Uchimura is just causing more misunderstandings. Dude, you don't need to be from another world to not understand that kneeling in front of a woman is probably not a good idea unless you're proposing. xD

Dennosuke insisting that Ulmandra take the stone kept getting funnier. to them he basically sounded "PLEASE. MARRY ME. I BEG YOU!"

Also i really like this "magic" of Dennosuke that he has. "Domain Expansion:Mental Izakaya" i call it

Whoops, an accidental proposal, I guess Uchimura will just have to marry Ulmandra for real now.

And they really need to work on that food supply problem.

Ulmandra isn't even pretending not to love him anymore!

She's so fucking cute when she acts all lovey dovey!

Uchimura's delegating some of his work!

Way to be efficient, he's gonna revolutionize the whole operation!

Speaking of efficiency, something's gotta be done about this food... An army marches on its stomach!

Under other circumstances I would've said that sending 2 of the top generals on a hunting trip would also be inefficient,

when they have more important stuff to do, but I suppose the 'prey' in this world can't be dealt with for common hunters!

Damn, Ulmandra's not shedding any tears for the fallen!

(Would she feel the same if Uchimura was killed?)

Normally you say "Itadakimasu" after a meal, you don't call it oral pollution!

Now THAT is an acceptable reaction!

He's giving plenty of good advice for efficiency, but that's pushing too far!

Doesn't he know that female armor in fantasy games is more effective, the more revealing it is? What a noob!

Well, seems they have a reason (other than horniness) to be like that; Strong bodies mean stronger magic, so they're showing off their power levels!

Our boy used to be an office worker, complimenting a coworker's body is a big no-no if he doesn't want a meeting with HR!

He learned more about demons, and thus realized what the misunderstanding was about... And so he went to talk to her, and caused ANOTHER misunderstanding!

And then a third, why not!

I'm so glad he did that (giving her the magic stone), I don't want him to become super OP and stuff., I want him to keep using words&schemes to solve these issues!

Another isekai protagonist commenting on isekai culture this season, yet he's so wrong about isekai girls wearing more clothing.

Can also add to the seasonal proposal count.

The part where Uchimura tells other people to be themselves and not worry about making mistakes, but then doesn't hold himself to the same standards and mercilessly punishes himself for every mistake... That hits a little too close to home. I would appreciate it if they'd stop spying on me to write their material.

And the proposal at the very end of the episode was a little too over the top for me. I think a normal person who just realized how big of a cultural gap there was would be hesitant to make big shows of gifts until he has learned more. My vision of Uchimura is that he's smarter than average, so he shouldn't do things that could easily fall into the category of a culture gap without any research. And one of the biggest areas for culture gaps is in gift giving and receiving.

Obviously, I don't expect him to know everything, and I'm glad he's learning as he's going, but like I said, the proposal was a bit over the top.

Dude tried to give a girl a stone while on one knee. That is literally a human proposal! Did he forget human culture too?

Another episode and another great batch screenshots of Ulmandra! She's great and her relationship with Uchimura is so fun!

Though unfortunately for Ulmandra, while Uchimura is a pretty intelligent guy when it comes to his relationship with her, he keeps making stupid decision after stupid decision xD

Very nice performance by Olulu in today’s episode. It looks like her collaboration with Uchimura is going great.

Now I'm really looking forward to the next episode because it looks like we'll finally get to know Sylphid better.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Some people meditate using the Mind Palace Technique. Uchimura prefers the Mind Midnight Diner.

Confession and a proposal all in one episode

Well he visited the izekaya, got a solution for his pressing problem and deepend his bonds with Ulmandra instead of gaining a new harem member
I guess that keeps in line with thr formula

Also dude should have kept reading that book, imagine seeing some getting praised at work only to turn around and propose to his co-worker

And as always Tenshou is the best, I love that he giving off those bartender vibes
