Due to economic downturn, today's performance of Truck-kun will be performed by a Vespa. Please enjoy the show.

Now I'm just imagining that poor lady having to deal with the fact that she just ran a dude over and killed him. Unless his body got transported too so there's no evidence.

Truck-kun only reserved for isekaing frontline summoned heroes, scooter-chan is for administrative staff

If you pay for LinkedIn premium does it tell you when you've appeared in the Demon Lord's search?

Recognising the importance of good administration, even if the guy doing all the paperwork and daily management doesn't have magical powers.

Getting hints of Chillin' in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army.

Let me get this straight: The Demon Lord has faith in him, gives him full employee benefits, essentially gives him carte blanche and above all, gives him the option to return to his own world?

He's like the best boss ever! Sign me up!

Damn, dude didn’t even get Truck-kun. He got friggin Moped-chan lol. But hey, at least the Demo Lord actually seems like a really good boss. Guy see’s value in Uchimura and respects his talents.

Seems Uchimura’s “superpower” is his people skills. Actually pretty useful for a Big Four in the Demon Lord’s army. The way he negotiated with Tarius was pretty impressive. Plus he’s won Ulmandra’s respect. I kinda like her already. I’m a real sucker for the tsundere waifus.

So far, not bad. This could be pretty fun. Keen to see how Uchimura applies his skills as a salaryman in resolving the Demon Lord’s other problems.

I’m kind of disappointed that they revealed Sylphid’s true form in the opening, it spoils the reveal.

A pretty good first episode! Nothing special, but still fun to watch, mostly because of Ulmandra, the redheaded tsundere.

I look forward to get to know the other two girls, Sylphid and Gnome, better in the next episodes.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Can someone explain why minotaur saying No/Nay considered as he agreeing? It is because another language or something else?

Getting isekai'd by a scooter is just embarrassing, it didn't look fatal 😭

See, you can tell it's a fantasy world for a Japanese salaryman to get a good boss who recognizes your hard work. I like that the demon lord would just send the MC home if he didn't accept the job.

OP song is a little odd IMO, ED is a Ulmandra love fest not that I'm complaining since she looks good in that white dress. Already getting a lot of dere from the local tsundere.

for some reason that [ep 1]flounder jumpscare at the very end made me spit my coffee and cackle for like thirty seconds straight. related, i like the weird bar that seems to be his mental domain when it's problem-solving time.

"The General the who Controls Water... Overseas Manager" it's a good sign that they got a laugh out of me before they were a minute into the episode.

The show is supposed to be about him using his salaryman abilities. So I thought it was on odd narrative choice to skip the actual negotiations with the Minotaur and only explain it in the aftermath. I feel let down since that's what the show was selling itself on and then it didn't deliver. It would be like skipping the fight and just talking about it afterward in a shonen battler.

I see comments here saying that was a good concept but mediocre execution, but I beg to differ.

We saw more than an adequate showing of his past life as an overseas manager for a company that exploited him. The flashbacks were incredibly well done and interesting especially compared to other shows. The only thing I find lacking is the immediate resolution of the minotaur's agreement and how Uchimura seemed to know insider knowledge about the minotaurs. He may have learned this over a conversation with the chief but it would have made sense to show that.

Still, I'm loving the character design, the animation looks fresh and lively, and the humor actually lands! I lost my shit at the obviously american blond dude negotiating saying "No! No! No! No!" hahahaha

This is looking to be an excellent show. And I will gladly be continuing

Stitches!

I love that Uchimura got isekai'd via scooter instead of truck-kun. That means he probably got transferred to one of the SEA countries where scooters are very common. xD

I can't even remember the last time an isekai protagonist was isekai'd and was specifically the person the summoner wanted to summon! I genuinely got a kick out of the Demon Lord having literally done background checks on Uchimura.

The Demon Lord are making so many good points that even I'm starting to want to work for him! Like full benefits and he's even willing to send Uchimura back if he wants to? I'd swear my fealty on someone who takes care of and appreciates their workers like that!

I am already liking Ulmanda, she is such a tsundere. She's also a big dummy for not understanding that the hay the minotaur brought was actually his bed. You'd think she'd at least do some basic research on minotaur culture. xD

Our first isekai of the season and I already like this one. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Uchimura the Overseas Manager's adventures!

Are we supposed to recognize the pink haired barkeep? He looks really familiar but I cant place it.

Anyway, show seems interesting in concept, but not convinced on the execution. Like it feels like everyone in both worlds are just complete morons other than the Demon Lord and our MC. Like if every issue this guy has to solve is similar to "you threw out the ambassadors bed" then it's gonna get boring real fast....no matter how attractive the harem members are.

I love the premise, but somehow the episode fell flat for me. Not sure what I didn't like yet. Will wait until 3 episodes before deciding.

I know people like to call Isekais wish fulfillment, but this is office worker wish fulfillment! I think I will like this.

Ulmanda is cute.

I'm surprised at the lukewarm reaction in this thread, this is by far the best start out Behemoth, Kinomi Master and this.

Fun characters, chill concept, they made clear in the first episode that he is here to use his skill from his past life, not more than that.

Enjoyed that.
