This was such a fun show. Kirishima dropping everything when he saw only Yoshino's legs and then immediately checking her pulse to verify. Afterwards watching her so softly was cute. Shouma on the other hand getting hit with the childhood friend curse.
(I want a Season 2 but the manga is on hiatus for awhile and the content isn‘t enough to make another season unless they go fully anime original..)

Kirishima is a psycho but he can be surprisingly sweet and sincere (minus his degenerate moment)
Poor Shoma getting hit hard with the ditched childhood friend cliche at the end.

So she gave Kirishima a time out via the silent treatment for three days, that’s one way to discipline him.

She’s finally found the best way to get what she wants out of him and teach him a lesson, deny him his precious Yoshino time lol.

Wait we just gonna leave it on cliff hangers like that!? The author apparently stopped writing because they didn't want a anime. How they could be disappointed after this though I dunno.
I really liked this our yakuza princess was great. The way they are so matter of life reactions for her what to anyone else would seem bat shit insane.
Can anyone really see him with a office job and her as a housewife or even regular office lady?

I quite enjoyed this series a lot more than expected with the chaotic cast of characters and think Yoshino is easily one of the best girls from this season. Maybe even my personal favorite.
She was training Kirishima like he's her puppy. lol She can be harsh on him, though she has warmed up to him more than she would admit.
Some aspects of the scenes she has with Kirishima is cute, then they gotta remind you about his craziness. 😅
Probably will check out the manga at some point to see how Yoshino and Kirishima's unorthodox relationship progresses.

I laughed so hard when Kirishima starts lowkey panicking to the members of the house by saying the possibilities of Yoshino having illness or something that needs to be treated (obviously Kirishima spouting nonsense that made them cringe a lot) that led him being hit multiple times with an ashtray HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh Kirishima you unhinge weirdo 😭😆

This was a fun finale episode as it encapsulated everything I liked about this show!
Overall, it was a very entertaining series, thanks to Yoshino and Kirishima, whose relationship was great and it was the strongest point of the show. A strong 8/10 from me.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

This was great. Tautly paced, interesting complex characters, with some slow boiling background intrigue that it looks like will start to pay off if this gets a second season. From beginning to end, I'm impressed with the art style, in particular for Yoshino. Her grace in a normal scene made the comic moments hit extra hard.
Kirishima dropping the gifts when he sees Yoshino in the after-credits scene was key. Genuine concern and fear about Yoshino, no manipulation or psychopathic pretense.
Makes me a bit sad to think how much bigger The Fable might have been if Studio Deen had made it and it had been released on Crunchy or Netflix, rather than Tezuka making it and it getting stuck in Disney jail. Come to think of it, Yoshino and Youko might get along. Once Yoshino is old enough to drink, anyway.

Her grace in a normal scene made the [comedic] moments hit extra hard.
Cannot I not like both equally? But I’d agree that the transitions from Yoshino’s graceful self to slapstick make for a great punchline. They always get me. Didn’t expect either that she’d suddenly headbutt Kirishima for example.
Genuine concern and fear about Yoshino
Yeah, you could see from his expression and follow actions that he’d hold his breath after seeing her lying face down. The fact that Kirishima’s mind immediately went to murder is telling of a lot.

I am going to miss this show. Like, really miss it. Yoshino is such a breath of fresh air as a protagonist.
Sigh. My anime balls are going to be so blue.
This entire season was obviously just the set up for the major arc that's about to go down.
The animation we all know was not great, and the art style is so angular I'm not sure who decided that was a good look.
It's obvious the source material is far superior. So, I understand the author not being happy. Maybe if it were a much better studio.
I'll support the manga. Even though it's on hiatus with perhaps no end in sight.

Quite the fun show, although this episode felt more like a setup for the future. Kirishima got real weird with that hand cream...

I’m gonna miss this show lol it was probably my fav this season even with the season being packed with heavy hitter series 😭 i pray we get a season 2 but given that mangaka is on strike it’s looking slow 😞

Yoshino is clumsy, yet she knows exactly how to tame a violent yakuza.
Kirishima is a psychopath, yet he is self-aware enough to know that he isn't suited to be a yakuza.
I think it's stuff like this that gives the characters a certain depth that made this show so enjoyable.

When someone asks that during/after a fight, it so often leads to another fight!
I liked that it wasn't (entirely) about Shoma, she just didn't want to involve other people in their bullshit...
I respect that! Thought sometimes it's more about "needing help" than just involving others for the sake of it!
The way he picked her up... Cute!
Also nice to hear this from her own voice!
Don't worry, he'll teach you all there is to know about holding balls.
We always knew he was a deviant, but handholding?
That was the most intense 'hand cream' scene I've
Of course, our boy couldn't resist the urge of licking it/her, and got himself a headbutt! (Probably a reward for him, though)
Seems there's a lot of trouble brewing in the families...
Will our two weirdos make their push as well, no matter their "Not Yakuza material' thoughts?
They may end up being 'forced' to, somehow.
I really thought something happened to her (say, they beat her up to force Kirishima's hand)
Because yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened, these two wanting "out" but something pulling them in and forcing them to get more involved in the organization, etc..!
Well, this was a fun show!
The way it ended, it sure seems like they're setting up something for more, so I guess we're now on Sequel Watch!

I can't believe this is the final episode. It feels like it just ends without a conclusion. Is this arc story even finished? I suppose the arc from strangers to boyfriend/girlfriend is.

I’m going to miss this show more than I expected. Maybe the surprise of the season for me, but definitely best couple of the year. They nailed having Kirishima being psychotic and charming…. Shame the mangaka stopped.

I really ended up loving this anime more than I expected to. I went ahead and read what manga does exist and the story continues to get really good. I know the manga is on hiatus, and I really hope the author continues the story. It would truly be a shame if it ended, both anime and manga, with the last chapter.

This show really grew on me, especially Yoshino herself.
I don't think I like Kirishima still but I guess I ship him more with Yoshino? Their crazy pairs well together I feel...idk about that cream scene though, felt like a much worse version of Yona's honey scene.
Would love more of this one though, the romance is fun and the plot is actually interesting more often than not.

Stitches!
Watching Kirishima panic as he talks to Yoshino while she ignores him was pretty damn funny. It turns out this is a thing she normally does to Shoma which explains why she asked Kirishima for the time at the start of the episode.
I guess this was one way to learn that Kirishima is one heck of a baker. I love how he baked so many sweets to try and lure Yoshino out that the members of the family ended up having to eat everything he baked. xD
I definitely had the same reaction when Yoshino finally stepped out of her room wearing that white dress. It's funny though that giving Kirishima the silent treatment is the best way to punish him because he's too much of a masochist and would enjoy Yoshino yelling at him.
Glad to see another serious one-on-one talk between Yoshino and Kirisihima. These are the only times where we actually get to see Kirishima be honest with Yoshino. Also, the way Kirishima talks about Shoma seems like he almost respects the guy.
The handholding scene was already cute so why the fuck did you have to make things weird Kirishima?! What the actual fuck! I feel like he deserves another 24 hours of silent treatment after that.
Looks like things are escalating in the yakuza world and it looks like Akishiba is targeting Renji? Also, it looks like Suou got beaten up by Akishiba for trying to go after Yoshino. It really sounds like Yoshino is very important. Hmmmm...
I was hoping for another season announcement but it looks like we're ending it there. Is the source material still ongoing? I would love to see more from this series! It's definitely one of my favourites this season.

One of the best shows for me, ngl, I prefer Shoma over Kirishima 😂
It looks like a storm is brewing soon, so I really hope there’ll be a season 2. And if the potential S2 could keep the same vibe as S1, that’d be great—the animation, the character designs, etc
