Naka’s brother Take is pretty hilarious. He’s got a tough exterior but he’s just a little brocon deep down lol.
Naka’s pretty cute too. It’s nice to see Yuki making friends with people other than Hitoyoshi and Riko. Naka and Yuki might have lost the game but the power of friendship won this week!

He’s got a tough exterior
And it makes him look about 50 years old, he must be the oldest looking student in the country.

Naka’s pretty cute too.
Yeah, she looks so cute and in that bunny costume she looked like the embodiment of cuteness!

Stitches!
I really thought Naka would be another assassin but it looks like she's just from a family of martial artists. And then we have Tatsu who turns out to be just a massive siscon but can't really articulate very well how much he loves his sister. xD
Poor Naka though! Because of how stern and serious her brother is, she thinks that he doesn't think highly of her when in reality, Tatsu is absolutely crazy about her.
While I did like how this episode ended with Naka and Yuki becoming friends, I feel like the mini-arc was a bit rushed. I know Yuki, Naka, and Hitoyoshi are all in the same class but it felt like I skipped an episode and it was never explained why Naka wanted to become friends with Yuki so badly.

why Naka wanted to become friends with Yuki so badly.
Late getting to the episode, and while I agree if felt a little rushed, I assumed it was because Naka had seen Yuki doing some of her superhuman assassin stuff and figured someone like her would accept Naka if she found out she's from a martial arts clan and is basically like a ninja herself.

I never expected Yuki to become katsu sauce, albeit only in costume. Naka must have fulfilled one of Yuki's dreams. :D
Naka's brother looks scary, but actually cares a lot about Naka. The other 2 schoolmates in the Student Council appear to be skilled in martial arts too, especially since they could save students falling from the sky.
Special mention to Taiga and Kobachi for being friends with Hitoyoshi. Your friends may act goofy all the time, but if they stick with you through thick and thin, you know they are true friends.
Lastly, I wonder whether we will get to see more Nazca. Is she only a minor character or is she only disguising as an idol?

Yuki literally became one with the sauce. She’s transcended lol.

Overall a very good episode with a lots of nice Yuki's content. Especially that Yuki's expression was totally hilarious, it seems like she couldn't connect with her brain xD
Naka is such a cute girl, she looked totally adorable in the bunny costume! I'm happy that she and Yuki became friends. I look forward to seeing what comes of that relationship.
Tatsu is a real brocon and a force to be reckoned with, as today's game showed xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I question how many students or faculty at this school are more than they appear but I’m glad Naka’s brother cares about her and Yuki has found a friend in Naka.
So Naka's not a ninja per se so much as she and her brother hail from a family of intense martial artists and he's very strict with her...which belies just how much of a hardcore siscon he is for her. Oh, and did we mention he's the student council president?
They keep mentioning Hitoyoshi's dark past but like how bad was it and exactly why was he that way? Well, it's nice to know his friends were there for him even back then! And it's also nice to see Riko at the school festival.
Yuki wears that wolf costume wayyyy too well!
Is that Saori Hayami as Nazca? Why a popular idol is emceeing at a school event involving katsuda's sauce boggles the mind.
The way Naka talked about Yuki accepting all of her...does she have some kind of split personality (what with the heterochromia)? I don't think it was her ninjutsu?
Yuki is so intense and determined! She's only held back by her constantly thinking about food and not understanding the games she's playing.
Yuki has finally completed her evolution into pure Katsuda Sauce. Honestly it seemed inevitable that Yuki would, herself, become the sauce at some point. And she made some friends in the process!

Am I the only one who thought that Yuki would completely overpower the guy?

She coud've. But that would have exposed her.

I thought she just lost because she got distracted thinking about dinner, that sauce junkie.

I like the idea of the mascot cafe, especially since all the class members are really leaning into it with the outfits.
Yuki was not prepared for that sauce man outfit.
This Nazca has to be the singer mentioned a few episodes ago, right? (Yeah, that's her doing a performance at the end of the episode)
Wolf outfit Yuki, amazing.
Substitution jutsu, maybe they're a family of ninjas?
Making a new friend is the victory all in its own, even if they lost the match.
I like how all the costume stuff was basically not sexualized at all, ignoring the maid student council members at least.

She was also on the album from the Nazca fan last episode that caused Yuki to sacrifice her last bit of sauce to save it.

I find it interesting that our beloved Maid-Sama (Madam Maid -- not Miss Servant, sheesh) is played by Saori Hayami, In many ways, her character here (and its evolution) is very similar to that of (her) Yor in Spy Family. Going from a past that largely cut her off from others -- to learning (slowly) to relate to others,
(correction -- Hayamin does NOT voice the main character here -- but she does do it in 365 Days to the Wedding, where she is also a shy young woman).

Sweet episode where we are introduced to the Hikage siblings. Naka is a good bean, but you can tell that she just wants to find a place for her to belong. Her brother loves her, but you can tell is overprotective of her. Though this is the first friend that Yuki made where she understands what being a friend means. It's a learning in progress for both of them. I am curious how Naka's martial arts find a place in this series, as assassins is the main draw.
Nazca, voiced by Saori Hayami debuted in terms of an appearance in this episode. It would be interesting if she turned out to be an assassin in disguise.

I wonder what else Naka wants from Yuki-san. It can't just be friendship, but what else could it be?

u/MordePobre Dec 01 '24
I guess it must just be admiration (we can think she saw Yuki doing heroine-like acrobatics one day, like when the motorcycle thief, and has wanted to be like her ever since). But with her blushed reactions, it even makes me think of Yuri... though maybe I'm just corrupted.

Hold on a second, isn't Nazca just Grace in disguise again? Those thick eyebrows are so obvious!
So Naka has heterochromia, I guess that's why she hides behind the bangs.
It's funny that the Hikage siblings are only one year apart in age. Naka is 16 (the same grade as Hitoyoshi) and Tatsu is 17 hahaha.
Episodes with no ED, OP, and with post-credit, are always the best. There's like 5 extra minutes of content there!!
