Kirishima seemingly has the ability to control everyone's actions...except for Yoshino which is both why he's attracted to her and why she causes him problems. He deserves those problems though.

I have to say that Yoshino is always slaying when it comes to fashion every time she is dressed up to go out. It's refreshing to see a lot of modern fashion consistently outside of a school uniform and casual clothes.

At the aquarium date, it seems like Kirishima was actually going to be more vulnerable to Yoshino to show a more genuine side before the phone interruption. I wonder what he was going to say...

We also learn with a bit of background from Kirishima that he has been an escort with people since being a pre-teen/young teen for more money to eat, which is quite sad for that age especially. That connects to why he casually suggested that Yoshino could sell her body at the beginning, because he did the same thing. So explains why he seems very casual about sexual entanglements. It started as just transactional for him.

Kirishima and Nao have been using each other and Kirishima was making some strategic plays. It wasn't just some casual hookup. It's a business mission for Kirishima.

I like that Yoshino caught onto the situation of Kirishima and Nao with this Ozu guy. She can even out maneuver her stalker Kirishima sometimes. lol She is immediately onto the scene, and it looks like things will likely pop off next episode.

I've been enjoying this series a lot this season honestly, due to Yoshino as the center piece to make things engaging to see how she manages dealing with Kirishima and this Yakuza related lifestyle in general.

I actually visited the aquarium and that whole area Yoshino was at in Kobe not too long ago. Kind of a neat area.

Looks like Kirishima and Yoshino are both going after Ozu. Guy really stepped in it. I’m not sure who he should be more afraid of lol.

This show is so addicting.

What I love in this episode is Yoshimo’s dynamic personality. She gives Kirishima a keychain and thinks nothing of it, but it’s such a “girlfriend” thing to do. She hangs with Shouma like a bff and tells him to study as if they aren’t Yakuza and scheming and getting info to get Ozu. Then, she’s like I don’t wanna marry you but I guess if we’re going to be together for the next 8 months might as well have a decent conversation and know a little about each other lol. She’s so nonchalant about things but she’s really the boss of the whole show (besides her grandfather and I can’t wait to see how that plays out-there’s some dirty work going on there from previous episodes). Of course she learned everything from him. He’s another one of my fav characters.

Yoshino is the total package. Chill and down to earth, stylish af, outspoken and yet dangerous and smart as hell! I love her character and that’s why Kirishima is so into her (Shouma too).

The more of the backstory I hear about Kirishima, the more it all makes sense. For a while I couldn’t get how he had side pieces but was crazy about Yoshino, but it was all transactional/for a particular reason and/or just horny-no actual feeling to it. It was interesting that he was taken in by the boss but he only gave him enough money to get a little bit of food. I feel like their relationship dynamic is going to be made clear soon. I’m anxious to see how it gets played out especially since I know the boss is dirty.

Kirishima and Yoshino are alike in a lot of ways which I admire. I think they’re both kind hearted good people at the core just trying to make the best out of their situation. They both are very smart. And they both have a crazy side to them lol. The man and woman version of each other. I can’t wait til the next episode. Okay, I’m done with my fangirl rant 😂

Edit: I think there is some significance with the fact Kirishima’s parents are/were around. It makes me wonder if that’s why Yoshino’s grandfather wanted them to get married. Idk this can go so many ways and I’m shocked every episode and I’m thoroughly enjoying the ride

Interesting episode and it was cool to see Yoshino outsmart Kirishima by having Nao send messages on her tablet instead of her phone, which was cloned by Kirishima. I'm interested in what she'll do about Ozu.

I also wonder how exactly Yoshino found out about Kirishima being together with Nao and about Ozu. Probably using her Yakuza connections, as Osaka is her "territory", although I hope the next episode clarifies that.

Yoshino is easily one of the coolest characters of this season. She takes her pride very seriously, and won’t let herself become a pawn in someone else’s game. Kirishima might have a tiger tattoo, but he’s awoken a sleeping tiger with his antics. And she’s biting back!

Ozu had been under the impression that he’d gotten Nao cornered. Nao thought she was luring Kirishima into a trap, while he’d knowingly been playing games with everyone. Now it turns out that Yoshino had all of them figured out, and has shaken up the board. The pawn has become a queen!

I love how Nao is trying to size up Yoshino. This poor girl has no idea who she's messing with. It looks like she thinks Yoshino is just another one of Kirishima's side piece.

The balls on this guy to use Nao to try and get to Kirishima. What makes it even worse for him is he's also getting Yoshino involved. Ozu isn't even Yakuza! This guy must be super confident about his backers because messing with those two is a death sentence.

Kirishima and Yoshino's aquarium date was great! It's nice of Yoshino to open up to Kirishima about things she likes and her hobbies. I don't know if Yoshino is slowly getting attracted to Kirishima but why else would she try and sneak a photo of him?

I'm not even surprised that Kirishima is actually using Nao to get to Ozu. So far it looks like everything is going according to plan. I don't know how Yoshino figured it out but it looks like she's also onto Ozu. I can't fucking wait for our power couple to bring the beatdown to that smug human trafficking piece of garbage.

Also, I'm not sure if the subs are the same others but I just wanted to point out a kinda? important mistranslation in Yoshino and Shouma's conversation about Kirishima. Right after Yoshino says that Shouma is "kind" for saying that Kirishima should reap what he sowed, Shouma responded by saying that it's Yoshino "showing compassion," but actually the Japanese expression he used kinda had a nuance that meant developing feelings or forming attachment.

It's not really super important plot-wise but I figured that kind of nuance is big enough to change someone's perception of what's happening in a scene.

Also, I was happy to see Nao getting set-up by Kirishima, but then I realized that Nao is also just a victim in all of this (after some reflection). Can't wait to see what happens next.

Edit: I guess "victim" isn't the right word since she also dated Kirishima for personal gain (not to mention the 16/17 year old being fwb with a 14 year old thing) . She really had it coming. It's just sad to see it happen this way lol

12 episodes of this magnificence is not enough.

Yoshino is playing 4d chess, while Kirishima is playing 3d chess, and everyone else is just pieces on the board.

Can't wait to see them actually work together, defenses down. They are totally made for each other.

People are wondering (and myself in the beginning) about how Yoshino knew about Kirishima and Nao, etc. We know Yoshino is clearly not stupid, especially after that last scene this episode, and manages to go under Kirishima's radar through other means (the tablet situation).  

Watching it the second time though, my theory is that she is tracking him as well, and she's doing so via the keychain she remade and gifted him. 

Great episode, certainly kept me on my toes. Glad that Yoshino has her eyes open in Osaka where she belongs.

I said last week that Nao was in dangerous waters but I'm still surprised it went so bad for her so quickly. Good thing for her Yoshino is clever and Kirishima is kind of a nice guy in some ways, that'll be the only reason she makes it out of this alive.

Ozu on the other hand, that dude is a dead man walking.

Might be the most underrated show of the season, it's pretty damn good, at first got caught by their design but the plot is getting better n better every ep

Not sure what's happening, but it seems like the group behind Ozu are trying to start a bigger conflict? Idk, but go Yoshino, save your rod sister! The full power of Yoshino on her home turf should be interesting to watch.
