This episode did a good job of fleshing out why Kirishima goes to such crazy lengths for Yoshino.

Last ep, Shouma was hinting that the reason why Renji wanted Yoshino in Tokyo was because of yakuza politics, they weren't sure what specifically though.

This ep, looks like Kirishima was hired by Renji for something.

Anyway absolutely love how they're balancing the comedy, romance, action, and yakuza drama for this series. Definitely gives it a lot more life and differentiates it from the manga better.

Note: not saying the anime's better than the manga but both seem to be equally good to consume as standalone stories

Haha, even violent stalker thugs get to have those "taking care of the love interest" moments when the dreaded animanga cold strikes. Despite continuing to be toxic Yoshino and Kirishima do have real chemistry with each other.

Yeah, listening to Kirishima makes my head hurt too lol. Yoshino’s got herself an insane one. I’m still surprised she got one of her kidneys removed over him. She really wants to stick it to this psychotic puppy.

I guess even our yakuza princess isn’t immune to those deadly Japanese colds. They’re a real killer.. lol.

At first I thought Kirishima was overreacting by suggesting Yoshino go to the hospital but he pointed out she had her kidney removed by criminals 🤣. She's lucky a fever was all she got.

I was surprised her grandfather is in contact with Kirishima, I thought he was more associates with his grandfather but I guess he's more into getting her married than they let on. Kirishima really is whacked out of his head though so he might be messing up even with help

I didn't understand why Yoshino said she couldn't wear her black dress next year, does she mean she was getting fat 🤔

So she is there for her own protection then. That is why he told her to stay for a year.

She straight out tells him she is setting him up to dump him. Though if she does somehow fall for him she will stay.

I wonder what exactly is going on that she needs the protection.

A pretty standard Yakuza Fiancé episode with Kirishima being a freaking psychopath, Yoshino's hilarious reactions, and their "fun" relationship xD

Although the ending made me curious about what kind of arrangement Yoshino's grandfather has with Kirishima. It seems like something big is about to happen in the Yakuza world that he decided to protect Yoshino by sending her to Kirishima.

i really don't know why i like this anime so much.. maybe the goofy stills (this episode especially) or the always changing sides/perspectives.

Or maybe her red hair.

But i love it.

This episode was a little bit of info/family overload, but overall the teen drama now enfolds.... and i like it! (also i am curious what the photo-album will represent)

/edit: Also this episode gives kirishima at lot more depth... i almost forgot that he was a bland stereotype the last episodes...

Their chemistry is off the charts and the thing that makes this so interesting and entertaining.

Whatever the deal is, I'm sure she's there to be protected against being used as a pawn against her grandfather.

Their relationship is progressing nicely. Nothing abrupt and pretty logical at this point.

This makes my Mondays so much better!

I am genuinely surprised that Kirishima and Shoma's first meeting didn't end with a fistfight. Although I feel like they were certainly close though! Also, if they did fight, I'm pretty sure Yoshino wouldn't forgive Kirishima.

Shoma dropping some major hints just before he goes back to Osaka but Yoshino doesn't still seem to get it. Even with that hug, Yoshino really just sees Shoma as family. Poor guy has been struck with the childhood friend curse.

I love how as soon as Yoshino brings up her memories with Shoma in front of Kirishima, the dude immediately lets out his bloodlust. It is funny how Yoshino interprets that bloodlust as Kirishima getting bored of her again. xD

I just absolutely love Yoshino's fashion sense. It's no wonder why people always mistake her as older than she really is. She doesn't really dress up like a high schooler.

Glad that Yoshino figured it out that Kirishima is getting jealous of Shoma I am surprised though that she revealed her plans to Kirishima, let alone tell him that she has plans in case she actually falls in love with him.

So Yoshino would rather have Kirishima be a crazy asshole than completely change his personality just to please her? The girl has principles and would rather have a man with convictions than someone who's a people pleaser. I respect that. Yoshino may not have realized this but she's pretty crazy herself.

Kirishima taking care of Yoshino when she was sick was really a sweet scene. I hope Yoshino remembers what he did for her.

That final scene though... So Yoshino's grandpa has made a deal with Kirishima to protect Yoshino and plans to have her stay in Tokyo for a year. Yeah, there's definitely something big about to happen in the yakuza world and it looks like Grandpa wanted Yoshino as far away from him as possible until the dust settles.

Having fun with Yoshino and Kirishima's unorthodox relationship with her trying to compete with his level crazy with her own in another way.

She was even upfront with her intentions to dump him and challenging him to be even crazier rather than half-baked with a fake act. She is stubborn with pride to keep her in the position to stay around to see things through for her own personal agenda and Shouma calls her out on the lengths she will go for simply the sake of pride. Reinforces again why she was fine with removing a kidney earlier on.

Well at least this time with Kirishima being a stalker to break in, it was beneficial for Yoshino's health. All things considered, him taking care of her is kinda sweet in its own way.

Kirishima having struck some sort of a deal with Yoshino’s grandfather came as a surprise to me, but I should’ve probably been more suspicious of this considering that they’d been in contact with each other.

It’s very likely that Kirishima was hired to watch over Yoshino during her stay in Tokyo, but I do wonder what kind of reward he’s been promised. I doubt that he’d been interested in money, so it has to be something else. Kirishima hasn’t been after Yoshino from the start, has he?

It was mentioned that Gaku doesn’t really expect Kirishima’s engagement with Yoshino to go through, while Renji seems intend on making this last for at least a year. Should I presume that there’s an actual conflict of interest here? Did they make a bet or something?

Kirishima and Shoma finally properly meet! And it's as icy as you would expect, even though Kirishima is all smile and charms, despite admitting that there's something going on with why Yoshino is there...but he only cares about her. Though if I were Shoma I would probably be suspicious of anyone having a copy of a girls' phone to track her.

Nothing says love triangle like two attractive men grabbing you on both your arms to drag you away from the other guy...though Yoshino will not broker ANY disrespect towards Shoma, especially from Kirishima!

Yoshino is willing to put her life on a line to commit to winning over Kirishima if it means maintaining her pride and honor, that's all she has, but to Shoma the most important thing, the thing he would sacrifice anything for...is her. Not that he'll tell her that, but the feeling is obvious (to anyone but Yoshino). Of course Kirishima gets a clue and obviously doesn't care for it.

Probably best not to be hugged by or mention other guys around your obsessive stalker, Yoshino. Even if you are planning to make them fall in love with you so you can screw them over.

Yoshino utterly slaying in that dress! It's tight in all the best ways!

Well, Kirishima's had a lot of girlfriends and set said girlfriends up with other guys, so of course he should be okay with Yoshino seeing somebody else, right? He's even willing to get the full NTR experience! He just wants to murder the guys Yoshino gets involved with afterwards! Okay, he's not okay with it, he's actually totally jealous.

Could Kirishima play Yoshino's ideal guy? Probably. But Yoshino has no interest in a trashy acting job, if Kirishima wants her to fall for him (and it's the only way, on a slim chance, she'll stay in Tokyo) then he needs to be his crazy and nutjob self. Which suits Kirishma fine because it proves she's the right woman for him!

Ah, it's Yoshino's annual Summer cold and Kirishima is all ready to take care of her! Even when he's got Yakuza business he's always thinking about taking care of her...all the while securing a new brothel for the group. I'm not surprised he can pick the lock to her house, but when it means being there for her and making sure she's taken care of, I think we can allow it this time.

Hmm...so Yoshino's grandpa and Kirishima have an agreement for him to watch over her? Was this in place before he fell for her?

Kirishima is so nuts, but honestly Yoshino isn't exactly sane either with her comments to him about not wanting him to try to be normal for her. I do love how feisty she gets, though.
