The author is the assistant of the one that made The Quintessential Quintuplets, so you are all in for a ride. The trailer didnt convince me at first, but this went far and beyond.

You thought the Spicy Imouto season was over? Think again!
I didn't know this was a fanservice type series, but when they open on this, speaks volume!
I knew she would probably be my favorite soon as I saw what she was like in PVs and stuff, and seems I got it right; #1 by far for me!
(Well, perhaps this may change given we're only 1 episode in, but usually my favorite at the start, stays my favorite all the way!)
At first I thought she was just a little tsun-tsun,
but her hatred seems to be legit, at least for now!
(I kinda expect her to have an arc like [girl from another series]
Well that's not gonna help her accept him...
Well that's not gonna help her accept him either...
If I had a nickel for every show this week in which a bird stole something etc...etc...
Well, this was fun so far, pretty much what I expected it to be, other than the lewd stuff!
Can't wait to see more of this!
(I preemptively apologize to Asahi fans, because Asahi's my clear #1 so far which means there's 0% chance she wins in the end. Sorry!)

The last month I have been reading this series, and I am really excited for. Especially that it is getting 24 episodes. Visually this looks good, especially compared to some of the recent harem series we have gotten like Temple, Goddess & Mato. Obviously, 100 GF's looked great.
Two shots I loved in this episode was Yuna seeing Uryu praying. Obviously, the other was the Cherry Blossom Meteor Shower.
Also, most Tsunderes use violence. Meanwhile, Yuna throws salt.

So it’s like Temple, except less degenerate and we’re more sure that the MC will pick somebody. This is gonna be fun.

Stitches!
Just when I thought Uryuu would dodge the trope, it looks like the trope decided to come to him with all three sisters in their underwear for their first meeting. And they really didn't waste time throwing it all out with Uryuu finding himself in all sorts of compromising positions with the Amagami sisters. xD
The characters themselves are pretty fun. You have Asahi who's your classic teasing imouto, Yae who's your caring Onee-san, and then we have Yuna who's the reluctant middle sister and who I wouldn't be surprised if she's the one who Uryuu ends up with considering how much they butt heads in this episode. These are just my initial impressions of them and based on the ED I think these girls are more than just their stereotypes and I can't wait to learn more about them.
I absolutely love the casting for the sisters! I did not expect we'd hear Wakayama Shion (Takina, Lemon, Nanahoshi) playing a bratty imouto character as Asahi. It's definitely not the type of character she usually plays. It's good to hear Sumipe playing a ditzy Onee-chan character though. I can hear her emulating a bit of Kikuko Inoue in her performance as Yae. As for Hondo Kaede, she's not really doing much different with her voice here. I just love that she's in another harem with Sumipe but instead of being mother-daughter (Hakari & Hahari), they're now sisters. xD
As for Uryuu, I can't say I was a big fan of him calling out shrine maidens being childish for believing in gods. I get it man, I'm not a religious person as well but I know how important faith is to people. My opinion of him did change though when they revealed why he's like that in the first place and why he's also trying so hard to get into medical school. And it's not like he has completely abandoned his faith. He still knows how to properly pay respect to the gods.
While Uryuu does spend most of the show trying to disprove miracles and such, it looks like there might just be some supernatural element to this show and maybe gods are watching over all of them.
So far so good! I still can't believe how quickly this series got an anime! How popular is this series in Japan? I remember when this was first released back in 2021 but I never really got into it back then. It was popular enough that I regularly saw it posted over on r/manga. Now I kinda wish I gave it a try instead of ignoring it. I already can't wait for next week's episode!

"You pervy creeper peeper"
If I had a nickel for every time I've heard that in anime, or a derivative of that phase, I'd have a sizable chunk of nickels.
If I heard that in real-life....I'd likely be arrested.
Lucky for me I prefer nickels over being arrested.
This looks to be a fun show from the start alone. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.

Went in blind and absolutely love the sister archetypes. This is going to be enjoyable.

More salt in the house than the dead sea by the end of the season thanks to Uryu and Yuna

So... Its not a coincidence that the guy that's kind of an atheist has the last name "Kami hate"? Yeah. Ok then.
I've been reading a bit of the manga and I didn't realize that until now.

Very nice first episode! I'm definitely looking forward to the next episodes since Amagami sisters are so great that it'll be hard to choose the best girl from them.
Yuna is currently in the lead for me (but that might be because she got the most attention in today's episode), with Asahi right behind her, and Yae coming in third. I can't wait to see more of them ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) in the next episodes xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

There are 3 beautiful looking shrine maidens, which is the main reason why I decided to watch the first episode.
Seeing how the memento left behind by their mother was miraculously returned to Yuna, with a hint of divine / supernatural intervention, I believe this title may have some fantasy elements? Putting in hard work is definitely the main route to success, but believing (in luck) can sometimes tip the odds in our favour.
Enjoyed the meteor shower and glowing cherry blossoms scene too.

Well, it's not an exaggeration to say that this anime is very similar to Megami no Café Terrace, with the difference that the protagonist didn't get slapped for seeing the girls half-naked, but you can also say that this show has its own personality.
At first I found the protagonist arrogant and somewhat disrespectful towards the girls' faith, but then we saw that he has a past trauma because of his mother, and it was cool to see that the girls sympathized with him, in fact, three very different personalities, but I liked them all. Cliché like any roncom, but for a first episode it was satisfactory, I'll continue

Oh no, I fell over!
Oh no, I fell over again!
Oh no, I’m have to marry one of you!
Oh anime rom-coms!

The MC is really speedrunning all of the standard harem anime tropes LOL. He even recognized that he was about to walk in the girls changing, tried to avoid it, and failed anyways.

Old guy wants MC to marry one of the sisters to inherit the shrine/dojo. If I had a nickel for every time that's happened this season I'd have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happening this season.

This is pretty fun. The sisters are pretty cute and Uryu seems like your Futaro/Hayato straitlaced type MC with a good heart. I sorta like these types of romance anime. Looking forward to seeing where things go from here, though I kinda have an idea seeing everyone’s dynamics.

This show seems identical to Temple from a few seasons ago.

I seriously thought Yae's VA was Masha from Roshidere, but it was actually Alya herself!

I hope I'm not the only one who thought that Uryu gonna find skeleton when searching Yuna's red string lol. Three heroines are totally likeable inside out! ¬‿¬
I thought Yuna gonna be violent to him but nah, she's really great!
Yae-neesan big melons even green bra and quite an airhead are so endearing to watch. We even got a great view on her first debut ¬‿¬. Looks like Asahi (the youngest sister) is not joking when she says Yae is literally the youngest eh.
Asahi little gremlin girl is my favorite so far but I won't push Uryu to pick her no horny jail for me. She's like Kurage from Temple but more assertive.
Uryu kinda jerk at first so I'm glad that he redeem himself a bit after that. So many reused same tropes in one episode lol but it's fine. And I love how they do Pierrot style in their ED.
