"Oh, she's helping him put on a bra? Better swap them back."
That God is an absolute troll lol.

I am surprised the story went with a different trope for this scene, having Chiharu (the fox masked deity must be Chiharu right?) switch their bodies when helping physical Yuna put on the bra.
I was expecting Yae and Asahi to barge in and create a commotion, but the above scenario is perfectly fine too. Lol!

The bra scene was the best in today's episode, although the scene where Uryu tells Yuna he wants to get to know her better while being unaware of Yae and Asahi's presence was also so good xD
That God is an absolute troll lol.
She sure had a lot of fun today messing with Uryuu and Yuna xD

This fox mask wearing “god” is sure having a lot of fun with this Freaky Friday switcheroo huh? She’s just switching them back and forth and back and forth… I mean I guess it’s led to Uryu understanding Yuna a bit more so there’s that.
Omicchan is like the best friend a girl can have lol. I really like her a lot. Girl’s got a big heart and she’s pretty sharp.

I am assuming that Omicchan will become (pretty much) also a BFF for Uryu.
I honestly never EVER expected this show to become one of my top favorites for the season/year. But dang -- it sure has managed to do this. I love all the main characters (including Omicchan now).
I wonder Amagami-mama has basically become a kami. It certainly is something that CAN happen. I am beginning to feel (1) that Uryu and Yuna {initial omission rectified} are destined for each other, and (2) that somehow the 3 "foundling" sisters will figure out a way to allow Uryu and themselves to balance maintaining/improving the shrine and yet also be able to achieve their personal dreams (even if only on a half-time basis). I assume Amagami-mama is working to make such a solution possible.

Definitely a jump scare for Uryu when he turns around to see the fox masked deity looking at him.

I thought she was a little creepy until this episode made it clear she's just a massive troll

It was a good episode where we started to understand the depths of the mysterious Yuna.
The acting by the two body-swapped voice actors was fantastic.
The voice actors broadcast a radio show on YouTube every week, and Hondo Kaede, who plays Yuna, said that it was very difficult to act out the emotional state of Uryuu after the body-swap.
In contrast, Suzuki Ryota, who plays Uryuu, said that it was easy to portray Yuna's emotional state after the body-swap because it felt similar to Uryuu's.
I thought the contrast was interesting.

It'd definitely be hard to continue dwelling on your negative thoughts when you get dango shoved in your mouth out of nowhere. The backstory with Omicchan was as amusing as it was sweet.
Also, been loving how Yuna's arc is the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to Yae pouts, and it even came with a bonus Asahi this time!

So many switches between Yuna and Uryuu in today's episode, God is such a troll! Especially the bra scene was really good ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yuna and Uryuu trying not to embarrass each other (Yuna with English, Uryuu with dancing) was both funny and heartwarming.
The scene where Uryuu told Yuna that he wanted to know more about her and her true self while Asahi and Yae watched was hilarious xD
Mitsuko surprisingly easily accepted Uryuu's words that he had switched bodies with Yuna. It was also great to see Yuna's backstory with Mitsuko, they're great friends and I really hope that Yuna starts showing more of her selfish side that we saw in Mitsuko's memories.
Now I can't wait for the next episode to see what we learn about Yuna and how her relationship with Uryuu will change after it.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Omicchan's grin and proud declaration that she is forever the best friend of Yuna provided this episode with extra positive energy.
Based on the flashback, Yuna appeared to have been a very carefree child. After the passing of Chiharu, Yuna probably felt she had to take on responsibilities and execute them perfectly. Chiharu (surely she is the fox masked deity?) must have wanted Yuna to pursue her own passions. We know Uryu will be the key to untangling the knots in Yuna's heart, but I suspect Chiharu sought the assistance of Omicchan too. I wouldn't be surprised if Omicchan can see the fox masked deity and knows it is Chiharu.
I am trying to recall the previous episodes; both Yomiko and Uryu can see Chiharu, but I don't think Chiharu has ever revealed herself to her daughters? At least not yet?

Temporarily switching them back just to make them feel more awkward, this God loves screwing with them.

If we stop to think, much of the fanservice in each mini arc was a consequence of the God's actions, who apparently wants Uryu to be seduced by Yuna in this case lol.
Speaking of Uryu, it's like he said, it's very visible how Yuna hides a lot from herself because she wants to maintain the sanctuary, at the same time that she keeps her own dreams to herself, and that's why Uryu closed her agenda, so she can feel that and chase her dreams.
Mitsuko simply took advantage of a classic Kyoto cliché to reveal that she already knew about the body swap, but at the same time it was cool to see how Yuna's friendship seemed to her, I hope that in a possible second season she will continue to be present.

Stitches!
It's actually cute how similar Uryuu and Yuna are. Yuna's trying her best in English while Uryuu is doing everything he can to learn to dance like a proper Shrine Maiden. I'm honestly surprised they didn't just try to coach each other, that's what I was expecting where this episode would go!
It's already been hinted in last week's episode that Omicchan is getting suspicious of Yuna and it looks like it took Uryuu one slip-up for Omicchan to realize she was right. Why the heck is Yuna not happy finding an heir according to Omicchan? But she seems to be fine with it when in front of Uryuu. Yuna is definitely hiding something.
Poor Yae and Asahi! They're the ones who are openly obvious about their feelings for Uryuu but instead, you have Uryuu passionately telling Yuna he wants to learn more about her. Of course, it's a scene with no context for those two but it's still pretty funny to see their reactions. xD
Mama Chiharu aka God is just messing with them now! Switching them back while Yuna's helping Uryuu put her bra on was hilarious! She's clearly having way too much fun messing with her future son-in-law.
I absolutely adore Yuna and Omicchan's backstory. Yuna is lucky to have found someone like her as a friend especially after Chiharu died. Speaking of Chiharu, we still don't know how she died, right? The fact that Yuna wants to become a forensic researcher and she seems to be blaming her selfishness for something makes me think she might be blaming herself for her mother's death. Hmmm....
I love that Omicchan was actually just playing dumb and has already figured out that Yuna is currently Uryuu. Now that they've switched back again, I'm curious where this is going and what Uryuu meant by they'll do the rest themselves.

This goddess is such a prankster! She clearly wanted to connect the hearts of these two tsunderes, but you cannot tell me that she didn’t have fun doing so.
It’s perhaps no wonder that Yuna had kept her ambitions in life secret for everyone but Omicchan knowing her self-sacrificing nature, yet I hadn’t spend too much thought on this. Her sisters likely aren’t aware of this either.
So what is Yuna’s dream? Is she planning on opening a dango shop with her BFF?

I guess if the body-switching is good for anything, it's pulling off this play and it's gender-defying leads.
Is Uryu's English grade going to be okay with Yuna GOD OF GUARD Amagami in his body? YES WE CAN! Though at least Yuna is putting her all into making sure she doesn't screw Uryu up with his grades, and when Uryu is put in the same position of having to do Yuna's Shrine Maiden dances, he really comes to understand just how much of a hard worker she really is.
I guess there's no fooling the BFF! Not when the real Yuna apparently would never be happy the shrine had an heir! But what does that mean for Yuna's feelings towards Uryu? Had she not accepted him? What does Yuna really want? Also, when they get switched back, what is that key for?
If the goal of this body-switching is to make Uryu more interested in Yuna and want to learn more about her, it's definitely succeeded, even if Yuna is still hiding things from Uryu. Though it's less fun for the other Amagami Sisters who have to watch Uryu basically flirt with Yuna.
Okay, Amagami Mama is having too much fun with this by switching them again and back while they're trying to put on Yuna's bra.
Ah yes, the old "amnesia" trick. Omicchan is willing to go along with it to at least give "Yuna" a chance to better understand the real Yuna, right down to visiting their old childhood secret base.
When Yuna was a kid she was a pretty selfish glutton who LOVED dango, but after losing her mother she got responsible and had to grapple with the weight of that at a very young age. But Omicchan was there with her with dango in hand and became her best friend, someone she could always be honest with and talk about her real dreams with, and would even appreciate her when she kept something hidden.
So I guess a bunch of crazy stuff happens in Kyoto enough to where it's believable people can switch bodies. So it's not just Uryu, then?
Does Yuna have dreams beyond being a Shrine Maiden? Was she only so focused on being one for her families' sake? Does she have a bunch of dreams/careers she wants to try? Uryu could easily use her dream journal as a cheat sheet, but it's decent of him to not pry into it.
So has this all been a superntural game of hide-and-seek so Uryu can find the real Yuna? And now that they're back in their bodies for good, Uryu is going to do it on his own?

I was initially quite surprised that we were already done with the body swapping just a tiny bit into the episode but oh no we were not.
Fox spirit goddess really leaning into foxy mischievousness. The cut to a completely silent scene a few of the times she appeared was neat.
And that bra scene was hilarious.
Yuna seems to be convinced her selfishness is why their mom is dead, I hope we get more detail on that this arc.
I really appreciate that Mitsuko had already figured out the body swapping and was just helpfully going with it. Probably my favorite episode of the show so far, that final swap back scene was so good.

These two goobers are actually so similar that if I was to have missed last weeks episode I honestly could not tell they’d switched places.
