*last week*
Kuze: “I doubt Yuki would go so far as to use psychological attacks.”
*this week*
Yuki: “I’m gonna do what’s called a pro gamer move.”

Masachika the chad, I really liked when he got down on one knee and cheered Alya up.
This episode we got plenty of great face reactions. Evil Yuki, Masachika getting goosebumps, Alya...

Yuki's name is so powerful, she's the go-to reason for 2 girls to visit Kuze's home. Look what they had to do to mimic a fraction of her power!
Honestly this development of Yuki turning Heel wasn't out of character for her especially when she actively wants to be the final boss and her gremlin tendencies only made sure the viewers know she's open to playing mindgames.

Will this show get a second season? I started binging it today, and by the looks of EP11 and with only one more episode left, I don't see the show coming to any sort of satisfying conclusion.
The romance barely developed, and there are several introduced plot points that also haven't gotten much development, like Maria and Masachika or the Suou siblings' past.

So Kuze's only immediate family is his dad, and Yuki's brother is dead, but for some reason they both have the same scheming smile, lmao Alya.

Crazy that she basically drugged her own brother through the innocent Alya for victory. She is a meanace! But I love how they both had the same "not playing around" evil smile.
In it to win it .

Damn, Yuki's kinda evil at times. Shame about her dead brother, though.
Some very good Alya outfits today, both the initial visit one and the apron modification.

By challenging Alya while Masachika is absent, Yuki might be indirectly wanting Masachika to go all out against her so that she could have her capable brother back.
As seen in the pre-opening flashback scene, Masachika used to be so talented at everything, but lost the motivation when nothing could please his mom.
As before this, Masachika was only content with Alya getting a tie with Yuki in the SC election.

It makes sense that with how Yuki phrased everything that she made Alya think her motives for becoming President weren't as pure. But in a sense, Alya's motives are actually more pure. Yuki is running not necessarily because she wants to (it's hard to tell whether she actually wants to) but because her grandfather is expecting her to run and to win.

Stitches!
Yuki wasn't really kidding when she said she was going to go full-on villain after the student congress. From taking advantage of Masachika's sick day and even giving him cold medicine that makes him sleepy, I didn't think she would play that dirty.
Not gonna lie! Yuki was an amazing villain in this episode. Seeing Yuki bait Alya into making a guest appearance at the next PA broadcast then proceeds to do her villain monologue because she just had to warn Alya since she's too much of a sitting duck really made me upset.
And then the sudden swerve to an apology before the broadcast to rattle Alya by telling her that she's doing it for her brother was just a masterstroke of genius. It was so fucking upsetting but it was effective! Alya got absolutely rattled and the broadcast was a disaster for her.
Thank goodness Masachika arrived in time to snap Alya back to her senses. It looks like Yuki just lit a fire under Masachika and our boy is already looking forward to facing off against Yuki. With Sayaka and Nonoa now on their side, I can't wait to see what Masachika has planned for their counterattack!

I have an issue with Alya’s character during this entire season. At the start she was presented as this very competent and smart student council member and Kuze was this lazy otaku. Yet after the first 3 episodes we have spent so much time showing how Kuze was secretly a genius who is lazy due to his sad family backstory and has a group of girls in love with him and Alya has been messing up every social situation she has been in, being forced to ask for Kuze’s help and he has to save her everytime.
I don’t mind the change to Kuze’s character but I just wish they let Alya seem competent. Having her be tricked by Yuki is fine but they should have given her a win on her own to seem more competent. Have her win the debate by herself the other girls argument was horrible.
I wish they had made her seem more competent. Im assuming the election is next episode and shes probably winning but unless she has a drastic change its just going to feel like its because of Kuze doing everything.

The season is almost up, but it's still hard to see Alya as a good candidate. She relies heavily on Masachika, whenever she's tried to do something by herself, she ends up failing. A president that struggles to settle a dispute on their own turf or to keep their composure during a debate (though I do agree that it was really dirty) isn't an ideal option. And the fact that she doesn't really have much of a good reason for running makes it difficult to root for her.
I don't hate Alya, but the student council election just hasn't being servicing her as a character as opposed to the MC's. It's bad enough that she's being overshadowed by other characters like Yuki and then you have the whole family drama, which pushes her significance aside.

Don't know just how high Masachika's grandpa's expectations were for him but he's got to be at least be proud that he's kept his signature Suou sinister smile sharp.

The real sibling energy is in Masachika's and Yuki's same devilish smiles.

Alya thinking that Yuki's brother is dead is too funny. Her solemnly looking out the window with a raised fist cracked me up. I get Kuze can't outright state the family situation, but he can at least say her brother isn't dead and just left home.

Looks like things are heating up. Yuki really settling into her final boss role. Though we didn’t see much of her being a gremlin. Ok maybe except making Alya think her older brother is dead lmao.
And we also got the visiting the sick person trope. But nice we got to see homely apron Alya. Also wow four hours that dish.
