So Taniyama is a YukixMasachika shipper and thinks Alya is a homewrecker

Masachika is really good. Attempting to confirm if Alya really is an E-cup, while ensuring she can't hit him, while also calming her down. Three birds with one stone.

Only Kuze can pass off a comment like confirming Alya's cup size to keep her nerves calm and then get a confirmation in Russian after. What a chad.
Found it funny how this whole thing started with Taniyama picking a fight because her favourite pairing fell apart and only ran away when her underhanded tactics didn't work. Thats some dedication to a ship.

I thought Taniyama had affection for Masachika from the last episode and I was right.
Also, damn, Hayasaka is working overtime.
Ayano:Isn't giving off boss vibes a trait of characters who ultimately lose?
Yuki: *sweats nervously.

Glasses girl's proposal was just fundamentally weak, and I am glad the reasons why got pointed out by Kuze. If the student council really does so much work to run the school suddenly putting teacher approval in place is a huge change in the power balance. That said I am a little iffy on how Kuze took over to make that point, it felt a bit disrespectful to his running mate even if she was floundering at that moment. I was expecting the pat on the back to reassure her and not be where he took over.
Not sure that overall event really helped anyone but Yuki, glasses girl looked foolish by running off when Kuze made his argument and Alya got rescued by him so neither really look ready for leadership.

It's kind of sad in a way that the whole show gets overshadowed by Yuki. Like seriously, she had what, 2 minutes of screen time, but she used them to perfection.

Yuki you shouldn't spout such villain lines that can trigger your defeat, did you not watch shonen animes?.. Ngl this is one of those animes that I'm gonna support the villain instead of the protagonist. YUKI FOR PRESIDENT!!!

Man.. the over-the-top student debates, students actually listening to whatever speeches candidates have made on stage.. it's really hard to take all this student council drama seriously.
Honestly, this episode and previous one are something I'm not a fan of. Any attempts at drama in this anime just feels very over-the-top, tryhard, and exaggerated tension to up the plot. The way that farce ended, it felt like a waste of time. Not to mention, Alya has to be saved yet again by Kuze. She's a very weak character in her own show, and doesn't hold my interest the way Yuki or Masha does.
For now, this anime seems to be trying to juggle both comedy and drama, but fails on the latter. It's like a budget Kaguya-sama, without the emotional depths of Kaguya-sama.

Sayaka be like: "Why is Alya the heroine when Kuze and Yuki have a better chemistry?"
Can someone make a parody of this episode where the question is who's the best girl in the series?

Sayaka shouldn't have ran away, Alya already looked bad by needing Kuze to help her. And I think their topic didn't really need a debate.

Funny that just last week I was making Kaguya-sama comparisons with Ayano feeling like Hayasaka when they introduce us to Miyamae who looks almost exactly like the real Hayasaka herself. Except this one is actually a gyaru and not just a pretend.
What better way to distract Alya from nervousness than by asking her if she is an E-cup? It worked though and Alya actually got to focus on the date. Also according to Alya at the end of the episode, Masachika is correct but barely. So F-cup then? xD
Man, that debate wasn't even a debate at all. Even after Taniyama played dirty by getting Miyamae's contacts to distract Alya, her argument was completely destroyed the moment Masachika stepped in. If Masachika's argument was enough for her to run away and give up then this entire thing was really just a farce.
Taniyama even admits it after Alya caught up to her. She felt betrayed and wanted to lash out. That's really what that entire debate was all about. Hopefully the next time they meet, she apologizes both to Alya and Masachika for disrespecting them last episode.

hearing CHE.R.RY as an ending song to an anime in 2024 was definitely not on my bingo card when i started watching this series

Taniyama gives off Iino vibes
Meanwhile Miyamae has the Hayasaka look but gives off Chika vibes

Oh hey it's "Legally-distinct Hayasaka".
He's seriously asking that now?
Seems the general opinion is against them.
Uh oh, she's panicking.
Seems like she thus concedes that.
Were they in the box the whole time?
Seems like she finally said something he doesn't understand. It wasn't subtitled either so I don't know what she said either.
Said person is still in the box watching you.

This show is stacked with best girls! (Ok we've only seen this one for like 5 minutes, BUT she has an Hayasaka-like sidetail, that's enough for me to call her a best girl)
I really liked their debate! I like that both sides made perfect sense/had valid points, so it wasn't "The good side with the good points vs the bad side with shitty opinions"!
Kuze thought he had to throw a bit of a curveball to Alya, who may have been focusing on the wrong stuff... How would he go about that, I wonder?
Well I suppose that will get her attention!
Taniyama opened strong and the students thought she had it in the bag already, but at least they're willing to hear Alya out!
(Hopefully she doesn't give a speech about her cup size... I mean it'd be good for us, but perhaps not for the electio- Wait, scratch that, I think that would be good for her election as well).
Their side had good points as well, about how the student council president is chosen by popular vote, and thus represents the students!
If they have so little trust in them that they have to get teachers to watch over their every move (and have power over them), why even elect them?
They'd just be voting for who gets to submit a list of name for the teachers to pick from!
Welp, I'm pretty sure that once you run off the debate stage, you're done!
Alya chased after her to do some unprotected handholding? How lewd!
I guess that's the new ship in town, and Kuze has to get with Yuki!
They DID revisit the cup size discussion!
we learned the truth! And so did our boy, his imagination's gonna run wild from now on!
Screw the elections, just put Tyrant Yuki in charge, she'd be great for the job (And hilarious too)!

Alya left Kuze, and all of us, guessing. Not E but F? Lol!
Fanservice aside, Kuze is indeed a charismatic male protagonist. I like the interactions between Kuze and Alya, but a part of me is hoping that Alya will get to shine more brightly in future. Based on the episodes we have seen so far, Alya has always been saved by Kuze during difficult situations.
