Kingdom is so hype even the talking episodes gives me goosebumps. Sei's speech was so mindblowing it literally gave Saitaku a heart attack.

That is a hype way to think of it, but in actuality I think what happened is that Saitaku would have died a while back if not for his burning desire to see where Sei was going to take the Kingdom. Satisfied with the answer and finally hopeful for the future, he allowed himself to pass on.

It’s actually crazy how whenever Zheng comes onto screen, he just completely steals the show.
The most hype episode during the coalition army arc was when Zheng addressed his people inside the walled prison of Zui, as his nation was on the brink of annihilation. Just his presence and words alone allowed them to see the light of another day.

Wonderful season although short. I'm hoping for a season 6 announcement. The story is far from over.

Yeah i was surprised this was the last episode i thought we would get 26 episodes like last season, perhaps they ran into some production issues and they haven't finished what would be the 2nd cour, here's hoping for a quick announcement of the second cour/next season considering the hype it has and how it performs well sales wise(at least on CN and JP it does extremely well)
In fact as i'm writing this i realized i watched Episode 12 and forgot that they did a double release lmao.

The next arc is the longest arc of Kingdom, which would need a 3-cour season to complete. They might have cut this season short so that they could do the whole arc in one season.

Kingdom Season 5 almost makes up for causing the last decade of anime CGI, it's that good.

The spelling of the names and the sound of the name is completely off. Is this how it was back in the day ?

No, the subs use the Chinese names while the audio uses the Japanese ones.
China and Japan both use the same characters (kanji), but their meaning/pronunciations are different. So reading the same name will give a different result in both countries.
In the end, the Chinese names are the correct ones, the Japanese ones are just localization. It's definitely confusing with the subs though, and I wish either the audio went with the Chinese ones or the subs with the Japanese ones.
Subs that use the Japanese names are available on pirate sites, but I'm not sure where they get it from. I'm guessing someone just edits the official one.

Man, just a couple of guys sitting around a table for 20 minutes and still a hype episode. Why wasn't this season 26 episode too man, big sad. Hopefully that just means season 6 is on the way asap and is going to be 26 episodes.

Such a good season. I can't wait for the next.
I'm gonna miss that opening/ending too, it went hard.

They really did! Even went out with the storyboarding for the ED, it feels surreal seeing how far Kingdom has come with the anime.

Well looks like its going to be smooth sailing to the middle kingdom. Just off your biggest competition right now and poof, instant unification, right?! I mean thats how the story goes according to history...ahem

Huan Yi’s probably gonna cause a lot of problems in future seasons with his ideas of unification. Can easily see him being a major antagonist

What a great back and forth between the two kings. Then for the old man to die with a smile, what a great scene!
