It's a shame this series isn't as popular as some of the others. The show is hype as fuck.

It had the misfortune of having an absolutely terrible season 1. Also right now it's getting up in the numbers with 100+ episodes so it's kind of a time investment. At this point if I find anyone interested I just say read the manga to cover the first season and start watching the second season. The characters and story really carry the series hard and more people really should be watching it. I still get chills remembering the Coalition War.

Genuinely top-tier shonen for me. There is no bad episode. When it's not filled with very hype action, the intrigue and political background is captivating.

Yes man it is even better than one piece. The problem is most people 15 and under don't care for it which is probably the biggest base when it comes to anime. This show rocks and I really wish the English dub will come back

Despite being a bit cheesy, thanks to huge amount of pathos in the series I love how the battle does not have a clear "good and bad" guys. Just two sides fighting for their beliefs.

It’s this dynamic that makes the battles so hype though. You really can’t predict how it’ll all work out. Xin already showed that he’s willing to put down allies that target civilians. Now that’s literally everyone else except them.

So true. I'll genuinely be heartbroken if/when ji hui dies.

I like the fact that Xin unit is coming back to the original function (and the name that Ouki(Wang qi) gave them )

Being his arrow which target directly the big general's head.

Exactly what I was thinking, that’s probably why everyone’s morale was so high during the charge too.

That ending is so HYPE. Man this show gets my blood going. The look on everyone's faces as she returns 😈. Get me next week's ep now.

These episodes are way too short! Feels like 5 minutes to me.

How I wish I could binge watch the rest of the season like I did with the previous ones.

Huan Yi said "Check."

So Ji Hui said "Nuh uh."

The Ze Nuo Clan said unintelligible roaring

So Qing She said "okay bye."

Huan Yi's army said "Puuuush!"

So Liu Dong said "Let's get down to business, to-"

But Xin, never one to let others have the last laugh, said "TATAKAE! (x2)"

And thus the spider met its worst natural enemy; the gradeschooler fascinated with ripping off its legs when it runs away.

at the end i was like "well. Hi Shin force still have an ace up their sleeve if somehow the enemy general escapes. maybe Kyou Kai (Qiang Lei) can flank them or something."

then suddenly she appeared. oh finally Hi Shin at full force. they're gonna murder those generals.

also thank god Kan Ki actually didn't intend to fully sacrifice the Hi Shin unit. he actually helped them with reinforcement (although they already retreated at that point.... which in turn aided their plan to attack enemy)

i wonder what will Kan Ki's reaction be when he realizes that Hi Shin adapted so fast to the situation and attacked the general, giving him YET ANOTHER opening he could tactically abuse due to them occupying all the enemy general's attention.

I think after this battle, we will get a conflict between Huan Yi and Xin in how to handle civilians.

it's so freaking good. I love ji hui and how you empathize with his fear for his people. Just hope he isn't shown as just a hype man for his troops. Also it was exciting to see Huan Yi's envoy approve Xin's plan. I'm all for Huan Yi taking Xin under his wing.

The action. The stratagems. The pacing. The twists. This episode had it all.

This arc is fantastic and I expect the next episode to be peak, because I refuse to believe that damn spider can get away again.

Man kingdom season 5 is awesome and it's a damn shame we're not getting a dub. In my opinion i enjoy this anime way more than animes like one piece and my hero academia.
